  1. My bet was that it was Real Madrid. Now I think he'll end up at Inter.
  2. No way in HELL we walk away from this game without the 3 points -- 3-0 win for the Chels. Drogba (x2) and Lamps with the goals.
  3. Avram Grant I personally have yet to throw in my 2 cents on Avram Grant. I’ve done this intentionally as I tried to wait until the end of the season to pass any judgment. Grant has been under fire from the moment he accepted the position. Of course it didn’t help that he was taking Jose Mourinho’s place, that would be a tough act to follow for anyone. With Grant though, it’s been different.

  5. As positive as I try to be, I just don't see it. I openly admit I'm proud as hell of the boys. After the early season drama with Mourinho, and the list of injuries, I didn't think we'd contend for anything let along be as close to the Premiership as well as being in the Champions League final. That goal difference still basically puts United 1 point ahead of Chelsea... but that won't mean I'm not going to be the biggest Wigan supporter in the world come this weekend.
  6. Newcastle v Chelsea: Review Just finished watching the match through the magic of the internet. Albeit almost twelve hours late, but better late than never. First off let me say the atmosphere at St. James’ Park seemed to be brilliant. Of course the absolute hatred for Chelsea made it that much better, but as usual the Newcastle fans were awesome. Three points is what we need and three points is what we left with. Along with the points, we're all set for a hell of a way to go into the final weekend of what has been a brilliant season. Here are my thoughts half by half, and I did write the following as I watched the match. So if it bounces around from one point to another, you know why
  7. Barcelona won't sell? Every team and every player has a price. Chelsea (Roman) has the money to pretty much buy any top quality player for any price. Barcelona won't want to sell him, but if Chelsea did offer 80-100mil I doubt they'd say no. But again, I don't see it happening.
  8. Comes with being a top club. Beating us will prove how "magical" and "brilliant" King Kev is. Too bad it WON'T HAPPEN! Read the full preview here: Newcastle v Chelsea: Preview
  9. Pissed as all hell. Game time is 11AM my time and of course I'll be stuck at work... hopefully I can find the game somewhere when I get home!
  10. I've been posting about 2 days so I figuired I should make an intro thread. Instead of me having to give everyone a run down of myself, I'll just cheat and copy and paste from my blog: I’m a Chelsea fan. I’ve been a Chelsea fan since the May 17, 1997. That was the date for the 1997 FA Cup Final between Chelsea and Middlesbrough. Of course Chelsea won the trophy with a 2–0 victory, but that wasn’t why I was a Chelsea fan after watching that game. Before that game I despised football. Thought it to be the most boring, pointless sport in the world. But that game showed me the passion that football fans have, the absolute blinding pace and strength footballers can have, and the general excitement and heartache a club can deliver to it’s fans. Chelsea took the lead 42 seconds into the match, when Roberto Di Matteo fired the ball from 25 yards out, banging it off the crossbar and in. When that ball when in, I was a Chelsea supporter. I didn’t know anything about the club. Didn’t know where they were from (besides England), didn’t know who the players were, didn’t know ANYTHING. But something about them pulled me in. It’s been 11 years now. Went from being a 13 year “fan” to a 24 year old borderline obsessive fanatic. Either way, look forward to chatting up the Chels with all of you.
  11. Having Messi would be BRILLIANT. But it isn't going to happen, and for that much money it'd be silly to do so.
  12. Some American flavor for everyone: I should have a better picture one soon...
  13. Cannot wait for this. It's Chelsea's TIME!
  14. West Ham were a disgrace today. I'm calling for a 2-0 win for Chelsea on Monday. C'mon boys, keep the pressure on!
  15. DI Matteo is the reason I'm a Chelsea supporter. I'd never been a big fan of football, but one late night I saw the replay of the 1997 FA Cup final from earlier that day and when he scored that goal... I was hooked.
