  1. I'm not. Any coach in the world would fail to improve with this poor squad we have.
  2. Because it's typical. I just wonder how the club and players will be celebrating the New Year tonight. It's so depressing to think about the new year we have ahead, maybe we'll lose another 5 times at home in the league and then get embarrassed 5-0 by Barcelona in the Champions League, if not by Napoli. I hate thinking about it. Nothing to celebrate for really.
  3. I wouldn't blame him. I bet he regrets the day he joined.
  4. Jerking off is way more enjoyable than watching this mediocre team playing.
  5. Well said. It irritates me how some fans think that Hiddink is god just because he turned our season around in 2009. Well, credit to him, but he had an in-form Malouda, an in-form Lampard, Drogba, Essien, Terry, Anelka... the list goes on. I bet he would also fail with the current squad we have. I'm not saying Villas Boas doesn't make mistakes - he has made a few big ones this season but to put all the blame on him is unfair. Just be patient, numerous fans of other elite clubs would love to have Villas Boas as the manager of their club, I know many who do. It's a shame that some of our fans are treating him this way.
  6. Although he looked good today, I still am convinced that he will never return to his old form and that he has no future at Chelsea. I can see him scoring here and there while Drogba is away, but once Drogba is back he will continue to warm the bench and he will then be sold in the summer. It's sad, but it's reality. Torres is gone.
  7. Has Jose really been that impressive with Madrid so far? Would he actually do any better than AVB with the current squad? I bet not.
  8. Yeah right, keep blaming the manager. It's something that these fans and Roman will actually never realize, the manager is NOT the problem. Why blame AVB and not the players? It's the players, they are past it. Ancelotti was fantastic in his first season because most of the current starting players were on great form. They no longer are, which is why Carlo failed last year and AVB has been disappointing so far. You can't do miracles with this weak squad. And the subs were absolutely spot on. Lampard was poor and Torres was way better than Sturridge.
  9. Moment of 2011 David Luiz scoring against United Man of 2011 Daniel Sturridge. We're lucky to have him, our season could have been even worse. Villain of 2011 Torres, no doubt. Hope for 2012 Hopefully 2012 is a more successful year for the club and hopefully Torres finally starts to perform. If there is no sign of improvement, then I hope he leaves in the summer.
  10. Haven't seen many quality films which were released this year really, so I can't pick a favourite. But I can't wait for Django Unchained. Tarantino is a genius and never disappoints.
  11. If I wasn't a Chelsea fan I would probably hate him. He is one of the worst examples of a footballer, and he has nobody but himself to blame for damaging his own image and reputation, it becomes worse each day. I don't think I'm even going to feel sorry for him if he gets punished.
  12. Drogba definitely, he knows how to score against Tottenham. But if he's not good, then AVB should give Torres at least 20 minutes. If things remain this way for a longer period Torres definitely has no future in this club and should be sold in the summer.
  13. Torres was the much better alternative and definitely the better plan.
  14. and Malouda is completely rubbish. He is extremely selfish, decides to keep the ball instead of passing to a team mate even if they are in a much better position than him. And it's funny because he thinks he is Messi. He manages to get past a defender or two somehow, but then fails to hit the target EVERY TIME. NOT a team worker, goes for personal glory every time he is on the pitch, when will Villas Boas realize?
  15. AVB deserves to be blamed. It is unforgivable to lose 2 points like that and even though it was the defence's fault, we could've scored more had the team played better and had he not made those stupid substitutions.
  16. Those three substitutions from Villas Boas deserve to be nominated for 'three most pointless and silly transfers made this season'. He is clearly in love with Malouda. Kalou was abysmal, yet again, and brining Mikel on was just stupid. Why not Torres? But in all honesty, the draw was a fair result in the end. We should be pleased with one point considering the way we played, although conceding in the last minutes is heart breaking. Wigan was probably better than us in general. But they're such a boring team and the stadium, atmosphere and everything was extremely depressing. A game I really wish I didn't see.
  17. My vote goes to Sturridge. But Ramires and Romeu were also excellent.
  18. United are Red City are Blue Thursday night football for both of you.
  19. Drogba was amazing and Cech was superb. It's a shame that Cech never gets the credit he deserves outside Chelsea.
  20. Happy birthday captain! He has what to celebrate for. :cfc:
  21. Loving the line-up. Come on YOU BLUES. :cfc:
