If someone would guarantee that Mourinho can do a miracle with this squad and return Drogba, Terry and Lampard at their best, then I would probably vote yes. Right now he would also fail with this squad. With a few new top players AVB can and will do much better, so give the man another season and see how things go.

Bitter and embarrassing defeat, but it could've been worse, look at Arsenal. We could've easily conceded 5 or more in this game. I am not optimistic at all about the second leg though, for 2 main reasons: 1) We can't score 2) The Lavezzi - Cavani duo will be impossible to prevent from scoring 2-0 will be impossible, if we're being realistic. And in all likelihood Roman will sack AVB and we will be left with a rubbish coach for the rest of the season. How depressing.

Disagree, 3 points is 3 points, but anyway I am not at all content with him. We were tactically awful in the second half and we were outplayed. When we scored the 3rd it looked as if we were searching for another 3 instead of keeping that result. AVB should have focused on the defensive area more knowing how dangerous and lucky United are when they counter-attack.

Am I the only one who feels as much disappointed as with Barca 09? This is probably worse considering our rivalry, and losing such a fantastic 3-0 lead is heartbreaking.
