  1. Torres was the much better alternative and definitely the better plan.
  2. and Malouda is completely rubbish. He is extremely selfish, decides to keep the ball instead of passing to a team mate even if they are in a much better position than him. And it's funny because he thinks he is Messi. He manages to get past a defender or two somehow, but then fails to hit the target EVERY TIME. NOT a team worker, goes for personal glory every time he is on the pitch, when will Villas Boas realize?
  3. AVB deserves to be blamed. It is unforgivable to lose 2 points like that and even though it was the defence's fault, we could've scored more had the team played better and had he not made those stupid substitutions.
  4. Those three substitutions from Villas Boas deserve to be nominated for 'three most pointless and silly transfers made this season'. He is clearly in love with Malouda. Kalou was abysmal, yet again, and brining Mikel on was just stupid. Why not Torres? But in all honesty, the draw was a fair result in the end. We should be pleased with one point considering the way we played, although conceding in the last minutes is heart breaking. Wigan was probably better than us in general. But they're such a boring team and the stadium, atmosphere and everything was extremely depressing. A game I really wish I didn't see.
  5. My vote goes to Sturridge. But Ramires and Romeu were also excellent.
  6. United are Red City are Blue Thursday night football for both of you.
  7. Drogba was amazing and Cech was superb. It's a shame that Cech never gets the credit he deserves outside Chelsea.
  8. Happy birthday captain! He has what to celebrate for. :cfc:
  9. Loving the line-up. Come on YOU BLUES. :cfc:
  10. But how can we find out who gave us reputation and where? That was such an useful feature.
  11. Ferreira may be rubbish but he is still MILES ahead of Kalou and always does the job fine. I have respect for him because he seems a good person and a true professional.
  12. Glad that United and City have to play each other. One less big team in the next round.
  13. Everyone knows it will be Bosingwa - Ivanovic - Terry - Cole, why are we even discussing it?
  14. Quick offtopic question: What happened with the legend status?
  15. Torres only performs well when he comes on from the bench anyway, it's obvious. Whenever he starts he's terrible but when he comes on from the bench he is extremely dangerous. It's strange because he looks completely different, as if he has a split personality or something. Or maybe he knows how to use his quick feet and his speed while the defenders are tired, I don't know...
  16. Happy birthday Essien! He's not as old as a I thought, maybe he has another two or three seasons in him...
  17. When I came home and saw that we were winning 0-1 I couldn't believe my eyes, when we scored another 2 I was shocked. But what a great victory, this is exactly what we needed to turn things around! :cfc:
  18. Group B is no doubt the group of death. Hopefully Holland and Portugal qualify
  19. That is good to hear. Hopefully King Salomon gets added to the list.
  20. I wouldn't call him that, a super sub is one that scores goals. But he definitely looks much better when he comes on from the bench than when he starts.
  21. This is such a tough game. I don't think we're going to win in all honesty, but it's a new month and it's a new start, sort of. The line-up I'd like to see: Cech Ivanovic - Luiz - Terry - Cole Romeu Meireles - Ramires Sturridge - Drogba - Mata then bring Torres on in the second half because he always looks very focused and dangerous when he comes on from the bench.
  22. How would Hiddink improve the team anyway? He can't do miracles. When he got appointed all of the players which are now out of form were on fire. Lampard was brilliant back then, so was Drogba, so was Anelka, so was Malouda and so was Terry. He is old now to be our manager and old players + an old manager is definitely not a good combination. Even if we got him it would be for a short term, he'd most probably stay for a season and then he would go. But then who would Roman go after for? We would be with no choices left. AVB needs time, support and trust. He was the perfect choice and he will show that to every fan and to the whole club, eventually.
  23. It's great to hear from him. And all he's said is true really. Glad to see that he supports AVB. And I bet AVB knows where the problems are, it's just that they will take some time to solve.
