From what i've heard from Leeds fans Peacock-Farrell is basically another Kepa!

Could be vital to get Infront of them asap then, as much as Jose is not his best self he knows how to defend what he has but he's never been a good chaser, I'm not sure about Porto but Chelsea both times, Inter and Real his titles have all come from establishing leads and clinging on to them.

Just a thought, if we fall away and leave the race to Liverpool and Spurs who's the lesser evil?

Got to laugh at all these teams trying to copy us by bringing a load of academy players in in one go even though they don't have the depth in quality to do it enmasse like we did. First United, then Arsenal and now Liverpool. The latter two especially have ended up with players totally out of their depth at this level (Nketiah, Willock, the two Williams').

Maybe overall they've balanced it out for each team in that period give or take a day? Cba to check the actual stats but i've noticed when we have the midweek game vs Wolves on a Tuesday our weekend game vs WHU is the following Monday, almost giving us a week off when some teams will be doing Wednesday-Saturday!

Bring it on, this is exactly why we've assembled such a big squad!

He may have a dilemma if we're in a title race in January, he's not got close to a PL title yet and if there's a chance of winning one (which will probably be his only chance) even a a squad player he may choose to stay!

I think you'll be surprised, the atmosphere for our friendly at Brighton (with 2.5k) was pretty good all be it in a smaller stadium and it will be the hardcore ST holders going i imagine largely from MHL (if the whole of SB was like the MHL we'd have the best atmosphere in country in my opinion) so they'll all be chanting and cheering, not to mention it will be a novelty going back to games. Our youth cup games with smaller crowds has a good ish atmosphere too. Ofcourse it's no substitute for a full crowd but it's something and i wouldn't underestimate the boost it will give the players (James Maddison came out and said fans not being there is driving him crazy and i bet he's far from the only one), shame it won't come in time for Sunday.

Thinking about it it's a shame Saka committed long term to Arsenal, had he decided against doing so we could have tried to approach him as a free agent for cover across LB, CM and on the wing.

Football games tend to run with ideas of players a lot as opposed to reality. Once a player declines it takes FIFA ages for them to acknowledge it in their stats, Torres stayed at 80+ for the duration of his time here when really he should have dropped below 70.

It's actually a mystery why he shits the bed in the CL, someone like Wenger you could put down to being too idealistic but on paper Conte's management and tactics should be perfect for this competition!

I'm a bit skeptical about starting Kai here, a game of this intensity for his first game back post illness could backfire badly.
