The awkward moment where we realize Jimmy Floyd should have stayed one last season.
-
Close call, seems mixed

Think that's a bit harsh, he does regually get over 90% passing and more are forwards than people made out, and at home to United in the CL our passing and shape was all over the place, Mikel's introduction seemed to have restored order to the players. Sneijder deal aint blown out of the water yet, we here loads of stuff these days when supposedly a player says one thing and does the other, just have to wait until its all sorted.

As i have mentioned a few times a battle between Hiddink and Mourinho is something that sounds thrilling and one i would like to see (whether one is managing Chelsea or not). Even before he came to Chelsea, Guus had a reputation as a clever tactician, proved beyond any doubt when he took South Korea to the world cup semi final in 2002 when in reality on paper that team didn't look good enough to get a result let alone get that far, and before any-one mentions there the host's, so were Japan and it didn't help them. Another prime example was in euro 2008, Holland were free scoring, beat Italy and France 3-0 and 4-1 and quite frankly looked unbeatable, no-one gave Russia a chance but in came Guus Hiddink with a tactical master plan and the rest is history. He also showed it for us against Barcelona in 2009, nullified them at the Nou Camp and battered them at Stamford Bridge and we got robbed by a stupid ref, Barca could have had no complaints if it was 6 quite frankly, although we went out we matched and bettered a team that have been thumping every-one silly and made Utd look like a pub team the round after, despite going out i remember thinking to myself (about Hiddink) weve just battered the best team on the planet (only the ref stopped it showing in the score), Guus Hiddink is a fucking genius. Moving on to Jose his record is insane, he has a superior record against every manager he has faced bar Guardiola and Rijard, constantly outwitted Fergie and Wenger and his greatest tactical moment probably came for Inter when he took a brave move playing so defensive at the Nou Camp and it came off. So who would win a tactical battle between these two? I loved Carlo and as you all know and still can tell by my profile picture i wanted him to stay as much as any-one but for me (in both Italy and in CL) it looked like Jose was very confident of being able to beat him tactically and in all honesty i was terrified of getting Madrid last season, should Hiddink come back it will be a different story i'm not saying i would want to draw Jose but i certainly would fancy our chances as i believe Hiddink will have it in him to tactically beat him. Who do you think will win a tactical battle bet-ween these two, one thing is for sure, it would be fascinating.

Drogba aint that good mate you tell Fergie that they don't need to worry about marking him in our game next season
-
what i don't understand is we pay £17m to get rid of Mourinho and we wont pay £4m to bring back the man who's the only of our ex managers that can compete with Jose in terms of love from the players and love from (most) of the fans, it don't make sense.

why dont we just forget about signing young players stick to the one's we have got and sign Gattuso, Cafu. Beckham and Raul to add to experience?
-
If the TC rumours are true and Sammy's thinking of a return then no need.
-
As long as they produce the goods next season, it could be cats their romancing with in them pics for all i care.
-
Did he really only start 10 in 06/07?
-
To be fair with Hiddink incharge i wont be scared one bit of facing Jose in the Champions league.
-
Agree with all of that apart from Glen Johnson, he was never that good and we were right to get rid of him, he's proving at Liverpool how inept his defending is and in his last Chelsea game he got ass raped by Oliver Kapo Jose's good thing's overdo the bad but he did make some mistakes, especially in the 06/07 season i still to this day kick myself about ending that season with 6 consecutive draws (especially the one's against Newcastle and Bolton).
-
With Hiddink in am i the only one that would fancy our chances if we bumped into Jose in the CL?
-
I thought id go down the Rafa path and bring some "fats" to the table. Henderson and Carroll = £55 million Essien and Drogba = £48 million From what i heard United are on the verge on signing Phil Jones for £17 million if this happens. Smalling and Jones = £29 million Ivanovic, Terry and Alex = £8 million Make of that what you will.
-
We managed to break scoring records in 2010 with Essien not playing for the 2nd half (when we scored the most goals), ok he is a great player but we have proved we can do it without him.

Looks like Jim is the winner, by a landslide really, well done Jim mate fully deserved

Liverpool wont be a threat to the title, top 4 maybe but title? give over. We here the same shit every summer, Liverpool end the season well after they blow the title in the first half of the season, all summer its "next year will be our year" then they start off bad again fall out the title race by October have a strong ending and all of a sudden the year after's there year. very repetitive and awfully boring.

Liverpool are facing a mass over crowding issue in their schools up and down the town. Over 20,000 of people in the last 7 days (all believed to be Liverpool fans) have applied for jobs as history teachers but there's only 4 position's in that subject currently vacant. All of them however have very strong references from people and employers in West London and Manchester about their ability to live in the past but at least 19,996 of them are either going to be dis-appointed, settle for another subject where they will have to stop talking about the 80's for 6 hours or will have to look elsewhere where there ain't as many applicants. More applications are expected to come day after day and 80% of the kids in Mersey side schools want to become history teachers, 10% dont like football and the other 10% support Everton. Its good having options but this could become a major problem in years to come.

Chalobah will be massive i think, i may be alone but with the right coaching i reckon B.Clifford, McEachran and Chalabah could be our Busquets, Iniesta and Xavi, none of them properly broke into Barca till they were 20, we just need to have some fucking patience and faith and we could be pissing all over midfield's with these 3.

Dont get me wrong im not saying i don't want us to have English players in the future, but if it came down to a choice Chelsea winning things with few English player or us finishing 4th-6th and winning the odd FA Cup with the majority of the squad English there is only one option ill go for. England national team is a farce at this minute, im not gunna lie Chelsea are the team that choose me and the only team i have consistently had maximun passion for all my life, i grew up supporting England because i thought i should and i was as passionate as any-one in my early years and early teens, but Mclown and Cappello are slowly seeping out the passion and i aint the only person that has said that. I miss England under Sven big time atleast we competed with the best then and narrowly lost, not the humiliations we get these days, i said Capello was the wrong man for the job from the start and got laughed at, no-one's laughing now. Cappello has also thrown the captiancy around from pillar to post its taken the nostalgia of being England captain away. The fact is in abroad its all about development, results don't start to matter until they break into the first team but in this country its win at all cost's from the age of 5, now you would think at the very worse this win at all cost's from the age of 5 would give near enough every English players a strong winning mentality but it don't, very few English players have that killer instinct the likes of Brazil, Argentina, France and now Spain have to win trophies which means there has to be something drastically wrong underneath. The state of England football is pathetic when we go to major tournaments there should be 80-100 genuine candidates for a squad place instead it virtually picks itself, outside our first XL can you honestly say England's bench are good enough to even get into the B squad of top european country's let alone the first squad's? its embarrassing and something needs to change because the England National team are in decline and sinking FAST. That aint Chelsea or any clubs fault, its poor coaching by youth team coaches IMHO.
-
Chelsea comes first and if we produce players that make the grade for England then great, but im not thrilled at the prospect of working our butt off to help a team that 90% of the fans are pathetic jeerers of their own players. I support England in any other sport but slowly but surely im losing any care for the football national team its becoming more and more of a chore since Sven left and i honestly hope they get turned over in Sofia.

Im all for signing home grown players if there good enough but the harsh reality is most of them aren't. Carroll is about as over-rated as they come, 6 good months at Newcastle and he's suddenly a £35m player? give it a break. Rohan Ricketts had a similar purple patch the season Bolton came up to the PL, ironically scored the same number of goals and the winner away to Arsenal, so why didn't Liverpool pay £35m for him. If we get Neymar for that or less i will laugh so hard as Liverpool. While were on Liverpool there no angels as far as English players is concerned, they had to sign Paul Konchesky and Brad Jones just to fill their homegrown quota last summer. Would i take Jordan Henderson over whats on offer in europe? would i take Carroll over Neymar or Lukaku? Is Joe Hart as good as Cassilas, Cech and Buffon? the answer to all of them are a resounding no. If they are good enough i will happily see them wearing blue but tbh im not up for dropping a few league places just to get a better reputation in England.

Lukaku has to come, not only do we need a new Drogba soon enough, we need a new Arsenal destroyer (if Lalkovic dont make it )
-
which one's that? Ive got a team its just out of curiosity

Basically the order you put them in is the order i would prefer.
