Is there any evidence that happened with Alison? from everything i have gathered he had no intention on joining us.

Even then we still won the cup. When you can win trophies even in season's when you are average to rubbish (especially repeatedly like we have) that makes the case for the winning mentality stronger.
-
I think we shouldn't be looking as his trophy record but more the way he got Napoli playing. Because that was why we appointed him and i think we are hoping the winning culture at the club will give us that push to make up for any possible lack of winning mentality with Sarri, like it did for City when they appointed Pellegrini. Infact it's almost a role reversal to when Jose first came, back then the performances were fine but we lacked the winning mentality, this time around we have the winning mentality but need performance finetuned. Ultimately the reason the comparison's are made is because Sarri seems to be getting let down by a few players holding him back the same way both did. Pep was held back by average fullbacks and Bravo the same way we are by striker, it's a lot more personnel problem than a system problem like say Moyes at United was. If he gets his reinforcements and we still can't hit a barn door with a machine gun or we can't get over the line in tournaments or minimum compete then fair enough he's had a fair crack and failed but at this minute he in my opinion he deserves the benefit of the doubt.

We have conceded 6 goals in 10 games and not given many big chances away outside of that, not sure how that equates to leaking goals.

It's all gone a bit quiet since the "news" broke. Am i remembering this all wrong or doesn't news of a fee accepted for a player usually spread like wildfire? This hasn't.
-
I doubt it. If CHO stays now then he will basically be a £35m player and likely on parity with the seniors in regards to wages, if nothing else that will get him more game time.
-
The squad tonight will tell us more. If he's in the squad especially from the start then this is far from over, if he's not in the 18 then I imagine something will be happening.
-
Yet i doubt many if any people would prefer Lukaku over prime or even ageing versions of anyone on that list. Rom is a good PL level scorer but that's his ceiling in my opinion.

This doesn't excuse some of the past fuck up's but i think the boards job is being made a lot easier by having a manager with a clear vision and direction. As good as Jose and Conte did trophy wise there was never really any vision from either beyond winning immediately so it made it more difficult to go all in with backing like they appear to be doing now with Sarri..
-
I swear our game against Arsenal is the late kick off on Saturday 19th?
-
Furthermore, given how much Roman has invested in the academy, if the teams were being picked above managers heads, wouldn't academy players have featured a lot more than they have down the years?
-
He's has 10 clean sheets in 21 league games and 15 in 27 in all comps, that would be considered excellent numbers even for prime Cech.
-
Moses is a bit of a unique situation in the sense he will still have a lot of suitors due to his ability as a WB. He will be a coup for any team who play 3ATB.
-
The Diego Costa of the present day isn't any better , if anything he's worse.
-
Forget the football i hope he's allright from a mental health POV, his deemenor today was worrying.
-
First half we were good the first 80 yards and poor the last 20, this half it's been the opposite.
-
Tbf this isn't really that much different from his Europa/LC rotations. The big test of his policy will come either if we get deep in Europa or end up back in next seasons CL.
-
If he's staying in England we won't want to cup tie him for his new club, be it Fulham or Arsenal. With Cesc appearing to be heading to Monaco, that isn't a problem with him.
-
It goes up to ten yellows for a ban after new year.
-
No they won't become supermen but they could maybe have had their flaws somewhat hidden by the system, look at what's happening with Liverpool for example, they are top of the league with Lovren, Shaqiri and Henderson (probably even more flawed than the guys you mentioned) playing significant minutes.
-
I think part of this is CHO using Bayern's interest as a bargaining chip. If he stays now in many ways he becomes a £40m player, which will put a bit more onus in him getting squad player minutes minimum, something i imagine him and especially his agent are aware off.
-
Not to mention, both are ex managers themselves (Thompson regularly covered for Houllier at Liverpool due to The Frenchman being illness prone) which makes it all the more mindblowing they can be so simplistic.
-
Notice how quiet both went when Le Tissier mentioned Pochettino, incidentally another victim to the witch-hunt of foreign managers.
-
Pundits are in general idiots with agendas to peddle, i still can't get over the borderline racist rant Merson and Thompson made against Marco Silva when he first arrived from Hull.
