Hopefully I wake up tomorow to find out Milan have done a United and made a knee jerk decision based on one game.
-
For some reason Brighton and Villa have been good stylistical matches for us last couple of seasons so hopefully that will continue. Leicester and Southampton at home, well if that's not 6/6 we don't deserve top 4.
-
I'd argue Bournemouth are better than City currently (crazy thing to have said even 4 months ago). Infact I'd probably go as far as saying they were the in form team in the league (save for Liverpool) when we played them.
-
After the last game he's lucky to even be on the bench. But it should have been Acheampong replacing him instead of Tosin.
-
He was one of the worst keepers in the major leagues going by pretty much every metric. https://www.reddit.com/r/chelseafc/s/QGho2gwtfw Sanchez needs replacing yesterday, but not by someone who makes even Kepa 19/20 look great by comparison.

Badiashille returned from injury around the same time, so on that basis.....

If they're marriage is unhappy/ran it's course than whatever the reason they are making the right call. An unhappy/toxic marriage is the worst environment for children. Aslong as Enzo's still stepping up as a Dad it's a non issue and frankly none of our business.

We got lucky today but deserved to beat Palace by every metric so what comes around goes around. Felix coming on before Christo needs to stop however, if today's anything to go by he hasn't changed one bit.

As for picking a side here, if this is true the decision is made for me.

It "source" was a quote less article in the sun. It as obvious nonsense.

Not going to pretend I wanted this Sancho signing or am particularly excited as I'd be lying. But I do hold one crumb of hope, Marescas system does have wingers in 1 v 1 situations a lot, so hopefully this will bring a Sancho closer to the BVB version than the United one. If we got him for Poch however this would have been an even more obvious flop than Lukaku.

Given who the likely alternative is, that's fine by me.

I disagree. He created one big chance his entire time here (for context Lewis Hall created more at Old Trafford alone) and in 15 of 20 games he registered 0.00 xA and < 0.5 xG. Then there's his off the ball workrate which is next to non existent and that is a huge problem in a system like Maresca's, especially when we already have to find a way to somewhat compensate for Nkunku and Palmer off the ball (who look like Kante and Essien workrate wise compared to Felix). I don't have any specific dislike for the guy, unless I've missed something he conducted himself perfectly fine while he was here and quite evidently grew to love the club but I don't think even the idea of him would mesh well with the current profiles we have, let alone the flattered to decieve version you get with him 9 times out of 10.
-
I mean with Poch when those things inevitably set the media and opposition fans to spin the narrative none of last season was his fault.
-
Pochs reputation is literally going to explode this season due to 5/6 dead rubbers and one of the few decisions he got right (not signing Felix) ageing well in plain sight. Hopefully one of our rivals fall for it.
-
That's the equivalent of being the most friendly salt water crocodile.
-
One of the few good decisions Pochettino has made.
-
There's middle ground between expecting him to be world class and expecting better than him being something like the 7th worst keeper in all the major leagues (going by the underlying metrics).
-
I'm sorry but it's so disingenuous when this argument is rolled out. There's not one manager in the world that thinks CBs shouldn't defend or keepers shouldn't save shots (even Pep got rid of a keeper excellent on the ball because he wasn't doing that enough), but it doesn't change the fact it's a crucial requirement of the modern game.
-
Honestly at a loss at how Petrovic last season was considered a decent showing. He was down there with Kepa 19/20 as far as the underlying metrics were concerned.
-
Petrovic was statistically one of the worst keepers in all the major leagues.
-
All ifs at the moment. Could easily say just as much they'll be playing Anthony and Hoijund in the same positions we'd be playing Palmer and Nkunku.
-
Lol comparing their star signing to back up centre backs. Hilarious agenda.
