I'm worried about him now, expectations have now become far too high. Soon as he hits as bad run of form the impatient crew who have systematically blasted Mason and Tammy will make this thread a toxic place quicker than you can say coronovirus.

Also I wonder what Mourinho will think when Ancelotti gets a magnificent welcome on Sunday. There must be a part of him that realises that would have also been him on every single return if he kept his mouth shut.

Interesting. Under such circumstances I thought we (or any club) would atleast have a say on whether we went there. On another note, penny for Victor Moses thoughts.

I wonder what we will do if we pull another Munich miracle and draw Atlanta (they play their home CL games in the San Siro). Surely at its current state of play they can't ask us to take our players into a high risk zone? Maybe a stadium change similar to Besiktas playing us in Germany that time?

In all honesty i thought Ross was incredibly frustrating Vs Liverpool even by his standards, even his goal came about after he failed to spot that a simple pass would have put Pedro through on goal.
-
He scored a goal at youth level where he went through about five players with outstanding close control. His goal this season away to Norwich is the type of touch and control to get past the defender we became accustomed to from Hazard. Yes he had a slump in the winter and yes he needs to become a bit more consistent but let's not pretend he never has nor is capable of scoring aestheically pleasing goals.

That's going to look so strange

Im sorry but I had no qualms with his sacking (especially after those horror United games), some of his tactics in the second season were terrible and I didn't feel he was the right man to lead the rebuild we needed going forward (he's more a squeeze the last juice of an experienced squad type of guy, in hindsight the best thing for us and him would have been Mou left in summer 07 and he took over then). We could defend pretty well still but going forward that season was as bad as I've ever seen us. However I will always appreciate the double and the way he conducted himself even at the most trying times (compare his behaviour in adversity to Conte and it's night and day) so for that reason I will always wish him well and welcome him back with open arms.

Although we would get bantered hard given the chant we have for him it would be hilarious if he went to Spurs.

I was hoping so but there's been a surge of cases in Southern Spain in recent days and the weather there is sunny and in the 20s degree wise. I hope I'm wrong but unless cases have peaked out and dropped significantly I will be amazed if this tournament goes ahead, it would be a breeding ground for spreading the virus given the variety different countries hosting. Regarding your refund, I would hope that would be the case but I can never comfortably say Uefa will do the right thing (especially now that they can point to clubs like Juve refusing to refund their own fans) so can't reassure you on that one unfortunately.

Does this mean our policy for only offering a year extension for over 30s has well and truly been binned? Not liking so if that's the case, that policy was the one thing we got completely right.

Unless the Cov19 outbreak slows right down I'll be surprised if the Euro's even happens.
-
Hope Ancelotti isn't banned from the touchline, been looking forward to his return ever since he was appointed at Everton.
-
Not in the position Gilmour played, Kante would have played at the expense of Barkley most likely.
-
Dont know where else best to put this. With Tammy going off the boil a bit and Giroud starting to pick up form when we get Callum and Pulisic back should we be playing both of them off Oli in the run in? While Frank shouldn't have froze out Giroud like he did it could inadvertently benefit us now as he will be pretty fresh.
-
So did we. Our front three, Gilmour, Barkley and Zouma don't play in a fully fit Xl
-
There's next to zero chance he will be gone before Barkley.
-
Can't blame him for that, was a great save.
-
Need a 2nd before Salah and Firmino get thrown on. Don't fancy us holding out against that front three.
-
What a wonderful opportunity for Billy though.
-
I think the price tag plus our big needs elsewhere will ensure he gets one more season. However a quality back up is a must.
-
I was very critical of Lamps playing Willian and Pedro together early in the season but right now we've got no choice unfortunately.
-
Let's hope this is a sign of things to come with Kepa and being dropped was a massive kick up the arse.
-
Prime Pedro would have scored twice today already.

Could be why, tester to see how he copes.
