I did pass my Baccalaureate, 11.81/20 average. I'm going to study Geography now

He's on the way to Newcastle anyway

I find Johnson even more overrated than Downing to be frank
-
We had to pick him at Boro, now he is too expensive for the what he can really bring to the squad... Yes, good impact player with speed and pace but he isn't intelligent, his crossing ability is poor (I don't even know if he targets a precise zone when he crosses) and he does not know when to give the ball, like a 18 year old whereas he is 23... Either taking Jarvis, Wolves have no financial struggle and if we put 10~15 on the table he is ours. Jarvis is such a fantastic player, I watch some Wolves games only to see him (and Fletcher also, imagine if we replace Kalou by Fletcher, giving the scot the support striker role Kalou did never have...). I'm sure the greatest replacement for Anelka is Steven Fletcher, he has the quality of a #10 and he is able to play on the wings.

It's absolutely awful, I think half of this forum speaks better French than him Wait a minute, who want him ? Which club is likely to be interested ? He has no solutions apart staying at Munich

According to A Bola, Pereira is waiting for his club to accept the second offer. On the link I did post above, PdC did refuse the first 15m offer in 30 seconds http://translate.goo...r%26prmd%3Divns And what is good with Portugese clubs is that they release the *.pdf of the official statement to the socios to say they have accepted an offer for a player. And it's likely to be finalized within hours

Yes my mistake, it's €uros

Olympique Lyonnais does scout a lot in France at a National Scale (even if they have great local youngsters)... Otherwise you have Stade Rennais, AJ Auxerre, FC Sochaux AS Monaco, Le Havre, Chateauroux who are not bad at all. Rennes is kind of far in front of Lyon in France. I don't fully agree, what make the strength of Porto is their exceptional scouting network in South America of course but also anywhere else in the world, even in Asia (who would have pick Hulk from a Japanese club ?). They haven't really the reputation to form local players...

According to several Portugese sources it's likely to happen within hours for a fee near Pereira's clause (£30m) http://m.ojogo.pt/n.php?id=118021&area=FC+porto&manha=1 http://fcportonoticias.wordpress.com/2011/08/28/alvaro-pereira-nao-escapa-ao-chelsea/

My mistake, he did only say that he can reach Messi's level http://www.lequipe.fr/Football/breves2011/20110720_132255_ribery-reve-du-ballon-d-or.html

Equipe de France since many years was already awful, Ribéry and the plastic bitch Zahia D. did not help at all... He went from the official clown of the average french football fan to certainly one of the most hated players of the country... Otherwise he said that at his best he could be better than Messi and that he targets the Ballon d'Or award this year...

Maybe he is a good player but he is a cunt, his lifestyle is the source of many of his injuries... He has a silly mentality for a sportsman, he is selfish and money driven. Overrated player, unable to be part of a team because of his ego and dreamer because he did think that Real Madrid or Bacelona, Chelsea or Inter would offer 80m for him Hello I'm Frank Ribéry, I'm a silly cunt and I convey a deplorable image of what is a professional footballer, I think I'm able to be the next France Captain, I'm one of the leaders of the bus strike in Knysna and over all I want to play on the left because it's where I'm the best. He had a reputation of untoucheable under Domenech on his left wing (with several goals) but Blanc made it clear, he is a player like another and he has to gain his place. Malouda performs in club so he deserves the left wing spot, so Ribéry is on the right by default. Although the rumour has no reliable source and that the transfert is mainly impossible, he is one of the players I hate the most because of the image he conveys

Black Zidane it comes from the English people non-knowledge of French Football and from the French overrating habit about the young players, especially AM (I can't do you the list of all the players one day labelled "new Zidane", Nasri, Meriem, Menez, Martin, Gourcuff, Kakuta...). This surname, apart from joking, is totally stupid like the "new Lampards" etc... Honestly I was not convinced by the idea to replace Drogba by the player in Europe which does look like the most him, but we can see that Lukaku has quality and a huge motivation, he is yet to fully convince me because of some player looks like fantastic at 18~19 and we see that they have the same level and weakness when they are 27... Objectively I did find his moving pretty good for a debutant today, as was his efforts to be available and his way to propose a solution, some support à la Bent. I think it can be underlined without overdoing anything
-
I did like Lukaku's overall performance, he was available and did show a great understanding with his partners, the intention was really there. His first touches were not that good but it's only a debut. Otherwise, the thing I did appreciate a lot was his Darren Bent style to play a relay with a support player such as Anelka or Bosingwa on the wing and directly go into the box after that, I did read he is a clinical finisher (even if he said he has to improve, but like every other striker !) and pretty clever in the box so he will certainly be very usefull this season by tracking down balls in the penalty box. If we improve drastically our free kicks and corners (with Mata's help, great crossing ability otherwise !) and if we find someone to score goals like Bent it's nearly a guarantee of 10~15 points more than last season !

Wenger has not a lot of money, don't forget they have "only" 25m for Nasri and 15 for Fabregas (they are so bad negociators that they did accept a paying system spread on months for their best and keu player ). They need a Jagielka by example, they can't put money for Sneijder and Jags in the same time. Van Persie and Sneijder are not really friends and Nasri did leave the club because Arsenal didn't want to offer him his 100k demands (if I rember well)... So a 200k it's just impossible.

Scott Dann (4 votes [6.78%) Gary Cahill (14 votes [23.73%] I did vote for Scott Dann rather than for the Chelsea defence in order to bring something to the debate between Dann & Cahill. I must admit I'm a little bit surprised by the results of the poll. I did watch around 15 games of Bolton last season and whereas I can't deny Cahill has some great quality ; I was surprised by the media coverage and all the buzzing around him because I did find that not really righteous... Yes he is solid and yes he has some striker's ways to shoot when he goes forward, some of the goals he did score are classy. But I find that he has too much of concentration skips, he can miss something very easy because he is not always 100% concentrate on what he does. At other times I did find him not very sure before doing an intervention, like if he did fear to miss completely the ball and kick the man... I find him solid in the air but it does not really impress me, his long balls are not so precise and I don't find him as reassuring for a defense that would have us believe. I also base my argumentation on the dynamic of the team, in 2009/2010 Cahill was more in front when his team was not good and I did find him less in front when Bolton perform well in the first months of the season. I did sometimes have even a better impression of Wheater after January... ! For me Cahill has clearly to pass a step in his progression before thinking he can sign for a big club, being more regular and stop doing fucking impredictable mistakes, I'm not a great fan of his mentality either... On the other hand, I think that Birmingham's defenders were the most under-rated of the league, Johnson, Ridgewell and Dann and even Foster were very good although nobody really underlined this. Dann is for me one of the best players in the air, he is terrific, his timing is excellent. He is comfortable with the ball to get the ball out of the defence properly and I find that he has a great tackling ability and a good passing for a CB, I find Dann's last two characteristic far better than Cahill's. Yes, Dann has the reputation to be a player who gets often injured but he is young, under rated and reachable for a price who is far from the usual English over rate system about their players, especially in view of his quality Dann and Johnson were instrumental during the 15 games unbeaten run of the Brummies last season and his injury (not not only, the shit recruits of McLeish, the lack of concentrations of the players... played a big part too) was one of the reasons explaining the fail of Birmingham after the win in League Cup. Cahill is not worth 20m even if Bolton is right to ask this price (because of their debts, Henderson and Downing, Jones's prices...) and I would find that more interesting to acquire a cheap player like Dann, who is homegrown if we need one more CB, ratrger than Cahill who does not convince me at all

He did leave the stadium after his replacement and was caught eating a hamburger outside the stadium like a hoggish But read above, it has already been said

I do agree, it would be difficult to win more things and accomplish a better season than this one on the paper because he has won everything... But beyond trophies, I think he has everything to win at staying at Lille, being the main player of his team : Gervinho and Cabaye left and there is a lot of suspense about Sow, will he do like Gignac: 24 goals and nothing after ; or Benzema who scored almost 15 goals several years in the row... Saying that he has a highway in front of him to become the boss of this team is a weak word, it's really not Payet or Pedretti who can overshadow Hazard if he keeps improving as he does for the last 2 or 3 seasons He can also stay at Lille to wait for the Euro and being more exposed after the tournament if Belgium kick out Turkey next month and qualifies. No doubt that there will be a real race to sign him, not just shy approaches from Inter, Chelsea or Arsanal It's obvious that on the paper a move seems logical, but I don't share this point. The Player of the Year in France, like with Bale, is a wide joke, I don't question Hazard potential, but just his real role on the dynamic of the team which I find really far from what he is able to and far from whar Gervinho or Lisandro achieved.
-
He hasn't proved enough for me, he hasn't a huge importance on the results of his team... Gervinho may be faaaar behind him in terms of playing intelligence and variery of his game, potential etc... But the fact is that even if Gervinho was near to the best he can do for a team and Hazard was far, Gervinho was more important for LOSC last season. Hazard has two solutions in front of him: Staying at Lille and pass another step in his progression, Payet is not a masterchief and being part of a concurrence with him is not insurmountable Sign for a club where he would achieve his evolution, not a club where he would be the first choice like at Arsenal, where he would have pressure because the team will certainly struggle this season. For me he isn't yet ready to go in a big club , he can do so if he is used sparingly and increasingly, not if he has to be decisive regulary right now. He has such a huge potential that I would be sad if he burns his wings.

Yes I do @YossiBenayoun15 Well I hope to give you all some news till wednesday regarding my future..thanks again for all the support! 20 Aug via Twitter for BlackBerry® @YossiBenayoun15Yossi Benayoun מקווה שעד יום רביעי יהיו לי חדשות עבורכם.... = Hope that by Wednesday I'll have news for you ... 20 Aug via Seesmic If Malouda departs, it means that the #15 will be available... to Yossi... whereas Mata would pick the 10 :subs:

I see a player who has always been underrated, Benitez treated him like shit at Loserpool. Nobody said he is a world class player, but he is one of the most versatile players in the team and even if Modric is more effective in building the play from deep position, or Mata's able to put speed in the game... I don't see a player with Benayoun through play in Premier League Many says that he is 31 etc... That his best years if he did have ones are behind him. I don't share this point of view, for me it's obvious that it's the first time he has the opportunity to play with a full squad with real ambition. I was very happy with Villas Boas' way to use Benayoun in pre-season but the 2 first Prem games did mean he could have less importance he seemed to have initially. Against the Baggies the big thing the team, especially Torres lacked is a support man behind him... Everytime Torres wanted to play in support with another player it was Lampard or Bosingwa who were too far, so it allowed to WBA's defence to replace. What I mean is that even if Mata can fill the role behind the striker, I think we shoot ourselves in the foot in under use Benayoun and his understanding with Torres... Otherwise, Yossi said on twitter he had some revelations about his future to make on Wednesday (so today) so I hope I won't be disappointed ...

At Vitesse, the Goalkeeper was 22 if I remember well, it's not a matter of experience... And I though because of Abramovitch relations, the Chelsea community at Vitesse (Ferrer, Louro)... Delac would have play more games

Please respect his carrer plans. He is gonna miss the European Championship (yes, I don't know how he can come before Yaya Touré, De Jong, Silva or Mancini's ass kisser Milner) because now Martin, M'Vila and Gourcuff also come before him. Nasri's going to come back in Ligue 1 in 3 seasons
