  1. Yes you're right, when we see Palacios with Bruce's confidence and with Uncle Arry's inexistant one it's day and night !
  2. Valenciennes new president Jean-Raymond Legrand said yesterday that he did not want to make a mistake for one of his first decisions, he didn't mention Rajkovic but he spoke about the defender he want to bring to the club this week (because of Bisevac's departure): "C'est une priorité. J'espère une arrivée cette semaine. On a les moyens et l'ambition d'engager un joueur mais, pour ma première décision de président, je ne veux pas me tromper. = It's a priority, I hope an arrival this week. We have means and ambition to bring a player but for my first president decision I don't want to make a mistake This morning in l'Equipe: Foot - Transferts: Chelsea tient à Rajkovic Info L'Equipe. Chelsea ne désespère pas d'obtenir un permis de travail pour Slobodan Rajkovic et n'a donc toujours pas donné son accord à Valenciennes pour le prêt du défenseur serbe (22 ans). La réponse définitive des Bluesdevrait intervenir lundi prochain. It's the same info as Talksport's, but we read that Chelsea did not gave his agreement yet about the loan of Rajkovic because they think they can have a work permit. According to l'Equipe's sources Chelsea will give a definitive answer next Monday Talkshite is really shit, how to make an article without information, they just suppose that Chelsea has not lost hope about the work permit BUT it's the title of the article
  3. I do agree, but sometimes South Americans struggle to adapt to the country... Jean Beauséjour by example was incredible at the WC, he lasted almost 6 or 7 months to look like a decent player at Birmingham City and there are so much more examples, Jara at West Bromwich etc... But when we see what can do Chicharito it's obvious that we can think to approach differently the kind of scouting we do, why putting 5m for a 16 year old European whereas we can pick players for nothing as Porto does (even if they have a fantastic () scouting network they improve for years and years now) ?
  4. Nothing new, the article was published the 2. We know that the players were given 2 days to see their families (Gigi Salmon said that in Blues News), they arrived Sunday early in the morning and they were back on Tuesday (or yesterday I don't remember). I totally agree with ulsterchelsea, why should we always be the fall guy ?
  5. Milner is poor on the wing, too slow... He is the archetype of the stand-in, average almost everywhere but really good nowhere. Even if he is not that bad in CM... Johnson has a poor stamina so he cannot be regarded as part of the XI but only as a supersub. I would be really disgusted if De Bruyne signs for Citeh, even more that we were tracking him before them. His versatility, his quality in the game (diagonal balls, through passes) and the fact he would not be overpriced as other players makes him the better option we could take
  6. So who really gives a fuck if Romeu wants to go home in two years...? Although he is said not to be a common Spanish bitch but a complet midfielder very strong physically ; I would prefer Clifford to him. The Irishman is amazing, Reid and Plymouth fans were so happy of him this season. And I find Clifford full of quality, he is in the pure british midfielder style I like so much so the only thing I want is that Romeu will perform well until Clifford knocks to the door. After that honestly, Romeu can go warming the bench and win trophies he won't play a big part in, I don't give a fuck
  7. But in 2 or 3 years (or before) Conor Clifford will be ready for the first team won't he ?
  8. We have a lot of new Vieras, it's the same with Maka ; Alou Diarra, Lassana Diarra etc... Fofana is the latest one, that's why Houiller wanted him this winter to reforce his squad although he has chosen Jean II Makoun because HAC did not want to discuss
  9. Jose Enrique from Newcastle ? Yes he's a left back... But we don't need one because we have already Bertrand and his 150 pro games behind him Is there any player named Luis Enrique ? He's the coach of Roma now so it must be a mistake...
  10. Villas Boas just said that he did not want to strenghten much the midfield after Romeu's arrival. But M'Vila would be a very good choice to replace Essien in the future as I said above
  11. It's not mine, I did find it on tumblr, I'm only a shame profiteer I think it's the biggest size, the man who did it has certainly kept the big size for his own ! http://www.tumblr.co...stamford+bridge Type some keywords in the search box, you can find great pictures and a lot of GIFs, I have a huge picture bank now
  12. No because we need Zhirkov too, if they want the player they put the money on the table it's as simple as that. We are not going to start the season without any decent right winger aren't we ? I do not consider Malouda as a winger anymore, he has a future in a central role because his performances of this season (mainly creating chances and be part of the build up of the goals with the pass before the assist) proved he can't hold a wing as before (even if the tactical instructions for the strikers are not the same with AVB as under Carlo), he seems to be better in the axis even more that his play led him to go inside the field at numerous times every game rather than contribute the game to be deployed on the wings and aside the block. For me this season if Zhirkov stays (but I do not dream, he's going to leave...) we HAVE to swap Malouda and Zhirkov, playing Malouda as a midfield and Zhirkov on the wing
  13. I think he is ready to be the 4th choice, considering that Bosingwa is far from his best level (although the Villa game gives hope), we would be forced to play Ivanovic on the right side of the defense during the season...
  14. Yes because Anzhi is rich and we need cash for Modric, why not using the same strategy as the one so much clubs used with Chelsea in the past ?
According to French's main sports newspaper l'Equipe, Valenciennes (VA) is interested by Rajkovic because Milan Bisevac just joined Paris Saint Germain. According to them Chelsea want to keep him until August the 8th whereas VA wants him now. It's a possibility if he can not manage to get a work permit, because he said that he was fed up playing in Holland. But I think that Chelsea will manage to get a work permit for him as they have done for Ramires because Rajkovic made a great pre-season
  16. According to several sources from the Russian Press, Chelsea and Anzhi didn't agree the fee because although Zhirkov has already (according to the sources) agreed the personal terms and has already spoke to the players and the staff ; Chelsea seems to ask 26m for Zhirkov to cash funds for Modric. But for the billionnaire it's not a problem I think. And Chelsea needs the 17th spot in the list of 25 so they have no really choice of accepting to reduce their asking Zhirkov was in a kind of holidays the staff gave the players until wednesday, he was at Moscow but according to sources, he is back in London. According to Dominic Fifield from the Guardian, the deal is almost done, the russian press says it's 99% done... So who trust ?
  17. But why did he did nothing with Chelsea ? He wasn't Carlo's recruit but Hiddink's, Carlo has never regarded him as a first choice but as a player he was simply happy to have in his squad after injuries.. Zhirkov has always played as a second choice, because Lamps or Cole were injured, never as a first choice... Malouda was one of the untouchables of Carlo, he was never injured so Zhrikov did never play on the left wing and it's shaming. He has great quality in box to box, in left back and left winger. His only problems were his injuries issues, his knee problem who was never really resolved... And he said that it wasn't any communication with the medical staff during the season... This season Bryan English did shit with Drogba, Alex, Zhirkov, Mikel, Essien... Some people can say that he merely suffer the mismanagement, the board who decided to reduce the squad etc... Zhirkov looked so sharp and confident, spontaneous in pre-season. I'm really disappointed to see him go, it's not a matter of money, he is going to earn the same wages (80k week) but without as much tax as in England... This season he had everything to do in Premierleague, now Malouda is become a kind of false winger, false central MF...
  18. There is better choice IMO... If we want a home grown player a player, we should better pick Jarvis, Albrighton or McCarthy (who is going to be home grown this season, he isn't yet because he has only 2 years in Encglish Football), young players not overrated...
  19. Precisely, this upmanship with all English players is the main reason why I don't want Johnson
  20. I'm not against Adam Johnson as an impact player, but as I said above we should have taken him when he was at Boro. Now City would ask too much money for what he can really bring to the team... I mean £20m is too much for him...
  21. For me it's obvious, he is not a 16 year old without experience, he is a 19 years old coming from one the best reserve system in the world and he has the jig (?) suitable for the Premierleague, he is stong and has a great quality for what I hear from. And above all, Villas Boas already wanted him The problem of the game against Loserpool is that Dalglish came with a 5-4-1 shape with an overdensity in the axis of the midfield, I remember we hit a brick wall because the players restricted themselves with the idea of attacking via the axis as we did at Sunderland. The shape was not made to spread the game as would do wingers because there were Lampard and Essien on the flanks of Mikel Dalglish did manage to beat Chelsea with his tactic But the idea is not bad, the complementarity between Anelka and Torres as the complementarity between Benayoun and Nando is so interesting that we need to keep the Anelka behind the striker plan in our minds I founded him disciplined against Thailand all stars on his wing, Vllas Boas said he was pleased by the attitude of the wingers. Under King Carlo he gave free license to his 3 strikers upfront, Villas Boas seems to prefer real wingers. I think it's a matter of tactical instructions because AVB does not seem to lack authority on the players, his plans seems to strike positively the players because there is great responses on the pich Me too Zhirkov can also be regarded as a recruit, he did never play as a first choice but everytime because of the injuries of X or Y (Lampard, Cole...) or the non-injuries of others (Malouda I see you) Now his injuries issues seems to be behind him, he is fresh and spontaneous on the pitch, I feel him confident (he would not have try the volley against Kitchee otherwise) and more than before, when he played the last two seasons as a player that Carlo didn't want above all else Because you are American, you should be aware of the fact that his move collapsed because of the salary cap and the foreigner quota that made impossible for NY and LA an eventual move
  22. I do agree, with a contract as the one the club offered to Ballack, a little "less" wages but more bonuses it's an option And of course as some people said, he would be useful by selling shirts in the world... We have to find sources of income because the Bridge is pretty little and the naming is not necessarly on the agenda (even if it seems to be one of the main target of Fat Ron) I did not know that it could be used in english
  23. Mancini is really stupid... Keeping BARRY and JOHNSON in his team... LMAO Maybe by choice not having to search new players on the market, but it's a good thing for us if he does not consider letting go Johnson !
