  1. Well I mostly write in french on my phone, so if I want to use it I'd have to change from french to english and back all the time
  2. On a pureky tactical level, Oscar is the trigger to our high pressing game, the 5-0 against Swansea is exactly how Jose plans things to be, he sais it himself after that interview, we always play as good, but scoring on your first, second, third then fourth attemot is ridiculous, you can't expect that every game and you just aim to recover the ball as high, quick and much as you can to create superiority in the opponent's area and killing games as soon as possible. Now go back and watch that game and moqt of our home games of the first part of the season, Oscar is not just the guy who triggers the pressing due to his good tackling & tracking skills, but when we recover the ball, he is our first solution with Hazard to amorce the counter, this style of play has granted us the 'beautiful' football we were playing as it gave us much of the ball and we were giving the impression of asphyxiating/trashing our opponents. This is how crucial Emboaba is to our game, when your first asset offensively, aka the guy on which the pressing relies is tired, injured or just out of form, you reasonably lose your edge over the opponent and leave your midfield exposed, and knowing Cesc's poor reacting to pressure, this is what makes Mourinho ask our wingers to drop as deep as they do, hence the impression that we 'leave' the ball ( January to May ), as it sureky would be stupid to try to stick to our game plan without our full strength. We should be expecting two things, for this fella to stay consistebt/injury clear abd thus live up to his potential, or find a replacement that doesn't reduce the quality of the XI, or alter our tactical plan. The problem is, this profile is so rare, because Oscar's range of passing and shooting make him the perfect player for our system, now he whether rises to glory, or Jose brings in a strong CM and switches back to 4-3-3 to avoid midfield exposure and be able to play our football ( or bits at least ) even without Oscar. I know some words are hard to read at first sight but blame apple for the small keyboards :ninja:
  3. I asked some Bayern fans about that, his average/poor form is caused by the fact that Pep plays him on the wing most of the time, according to them, at CAM, he is still as good as anybody. Traore Cuadrado on the right, Oscar and Gotze fighting for a spot on the center, Hazard in his usual set up and Willian who can pretty much play everywhere in AM and we're set, people could say it's too much but 6 players for 3 spots is just perfect and would avoid our poor form as our recovery game relies too much on the 4 players in the front, had Shürrle/Salah lived up to the expectations we surely would've had a better second part of the season. I would definitely prefer Isco, but there is little chance Perez is selling a young talented marketable Spaniard AM for a reasonable price.
  4. Just because you are Eden Hazard, doesn't mean you can miss training and walk in on match day just fine. Same goes for members with quality posts right ? Back to topic, didn't Oscar just lend the 11 number to DD ? Settling for the 8 now since Cuadrado tries his luck at the legendary number ? The 10 would fit him perfectly, too bad we've got a (consistently performer) magician with it on the back
  5. No, he won't get rest every pre-season, but he can't go on 5 years without rest at the same time, simple facts.
  6. Well tbf we have to give credit to Adidas and the club. But thanks
  7. No problem with that, i was referring to how you downplayed the arguments lot of games and lack of pre-season ( before denying doing it for the latter when it suited you ) on this topic. I have no problem with your point of view at all, everyone kbows Oscar has been inconsistent, but everybody also kbows that the guy needs rest and that he is a huge part of our XI when at his best.
  8. Now what, didierforever will come around pointing that we members on this topic, José and Oscar himself, are all wrong and that he holds the absolute truth ?
  9. Confirms what we were saying ? No pre-season in 5 YEARS ???? Sorry, ut's pretty obvious that it catches up on him sooner or later.
  10. Hazard's face again Please remove him from kit promos Adidas.
  11. I came here to get news on Pedro, then I read the word Oscar, and now I'm running away.
  12. It's funny, people slaming jose and the club here, we don't know, and probably never will, if we ever had interest in him or not, although the most likely scenario is that we actually went for him underground ( as we always do for our transfers ) but tgat he choose Bayern.
  13. Of course, the travelling group is never necessarily the final deal.
  14. The spirit of the poster is absolutely stunning.
  15. As much as i would LOVE to see us giving it to Eden, as he'd flourish lire and have a bigger bond with this club ( he captained Belgium in their last two games ), I believe we should give Iva the vice captain spot for now, this guy is captain material, no words needed to explain it to him. I always prefer the captain to be a midfielder though, majes it easier to make the run towards the referee to calm things or talk to the ref, a midfielder is on average the closest to actions i guess. Sometmes things get bad if your captain doesn't intervene, that's why i didn't fancy Petr as captain at the time.
  16. Those guys are part of pur FFP plan, so we don't grt rid of all of them at the same time.
  17. Anyway ive got mu fair share of it, you cant even handle a proper debate, starting to talk avout '' random opinions '' and barking, im not even getting down to your level, they surely do need an age limit here. Have a very nice day.
  18. What you were exactly saying is you cabt believe how lack of pre season from july afects form pn january. Yea thats pretty much the same.
  19. Remember, im comparing to Willian because you were referin'g to him as the perfect example of why fatigue cant be an excuse !! ( so dont come around telling me Hy isnt it about cr and messi anymore, because i can see you coming, lets stick to the main point here )
  20. I made the calculations for NT AND CLUB. Btw im comparing with willian, cr and messi isbt relevant, i was juqt giving the example that they are the guys who play the most in europe and he is pretty close to that. So since 2012, NT + club Willian 10 494 mins Oscar 13 267 mins That's 2773 minutes more. Which means 924 minutes more on average per year ( /3 ). That's 10 games more of 90 minutes. Don't you think it causes fatigue for a guy who hasn't had a proper pre season for 3 years now ?
  21. Oh and WTF, the whole argument is around his implication with club AND country and youre just ASSUMING the others have had as mich minutes in NT ? He has played 43 games for brazil since 2012. Willian 20, messi 33 and CR 35. Go count the minutes and compare the whole lot ( club + nt ), add the lack of preseason. If u come after that and still tell me fatigue isnt the problem then you just dont want to admit.
  22. Ah okay, so youre gonna point out the only post where i dont talk about pre season and assume its my whole point ? So childish of you, go back and read my first post, see if i wasnt talking about preseason.
  23. Dude, i'm telling you the guy has taken part in more games than messi and CR7 since 2012 and you're still denting the facts. I can't do anything for you if you cab't notice how good he makes us btw, you're just blind when it comes to Oscar, he was superb and instrumental in our first good months, he was injured and tired after that, facts.
  24. I quit, your bashing is so hard it can't even be refuted with obvious simple facts.
