Of all people, Messi's role is the one that would suit Eden the most, surely not as good/efficient, but that's what will get the best out of him. A left winger playing most of the time as a number 10 than on the wing actually.

Azpi is probably the man who played the most games since the start of the season, so a little bit of rest is welcome. And again, José explained the logic behind his choice, and it's pretty fair if you ask me. The man is taking risks, nobody's happy again, as Barbara said, there is just no winning for him here or in the media..
-
He took huge risks in this game, I don't think people will state that ( as usual ), but we are pressing all the way up top and our midfield is compromised, am I against that ? Absolutely not, we need the dub, and we need a serie of them.
-
Of course he'll say "we always gave the managers a real crack at it", do you want him to say the truth and look like an ass ? Results mattered at that point in time, once we got our Champions League, as Emenalo said, we could afford those bad results, but not with RDM, not with Benitez, with the right manager, and the board believes José is the right manager, simple logic.
-
He looks way more calm at the moment, positive signs, it looks like this break really helped him relax and re-focus. Edit : I absolutely love his speech, really really positive, smilling and happy right from the start, doesn't talk about the past, when asked about not being able to coach against Stoke "It's over", and moves on. States that this difficult period is an experience, with a smile, says that all the players, staff, and club are confident and eager to make the most out of the next 4 months ( as there is no international break until March ), talking about enjoying the competitions, getting results, playing with joy at home, making the supporters happy. It has been a while, welcome back José.

No actually it has never been said for previous managers, so yeah, he wouldn't just say it. In the meantime, people need to read between the lies, there are far more interesting insights in his interview than the stuff regarding Mourinho's future, especially the latter's communication and drama, it's really worth a read.

There is only one scenario where we would be williing to sell Oscar for me, and that would be knowing that Isco is coming or something like that.

Where are you now that I need you ?

  Such posts can't be serious guys, or do they ?

Congratulations sir, you just earned yourself a bookmark in my browser   :D

Indeed, because Mourinho has been awful in the CL throughout his carrer Normally taking the Premier League over the Champions league, but it's a cycle, our previous one felt so special because of all we had to endure in the decade before to get it. But you can't keep winning the league every year and pretend you don't want to win the CL, that's ridiculous, I just believe the club owes it more to be dominant ( or at least there up top ) in the league every year than in the sem finals of the CL, not because getting to the semis is harder, but because it depends on a lot of random stuff in addition to your performance per se.

I thought we had established that, no one saw what PSG did to Real at the Bernabeu ? They are just too good, we were bad, indeed, but they are really good.
-
Seriously ? Guess that would be every goalkeeper's excuse when conceding a free-kick then no ? There is a reason why it is considered a goal chance
-
I have my own opinion on Willian and I can see that other members highlight the points I want to make, so I will avoid running through the debate again ( as I've been doing so since October 2013 eveyrwhere on Internet... ), but this sentence is absolutely out of place, especially the second part of it, are you serious in believement that your assessment is the only valid one ?
-
Now you misread two posts of mine in a row I said that people expect us to play like Barcelona, that we can't, but that we should have better results ( and football for that matter ), and in my last answer I said "Isn't that what I said 'JUST AFTER' ).
-
Isn't that what I said just after ?
-
That's the point, people expect us to play Barcelona football with 50% Hazard Matic Fabregas Oscar or with the likes of RLC. I don't, just want my team to grind out results at the moment, I think we have what it takes, but it hasn't been exactly going our way even when we played good so we're gonna see.. As i said before, I really expect us to step it up after the break, all the reasons to suggest the opposite are gone, including bad luck.

Our offensive animation from the start of last year would team them to pieces, and it pretty much did, given that we wasted a lot and didn't finish them off at the Bridge. Our pressing destroyed humiliated them in Wenger's 1000th. You're using the wrong example. Mourinho can make a team play high pressing offensive football, proved it in the past, just needs the players to be in good shape physically and mentally, which is pretty much necessary for all coaches around the world. Last year the pre-season was too intense, excellent first 6 months, tired players after that. This year the pre-season was a joke, awful physical and mental condition which translated in the start of the season, accumulation of factors, the defeats made it worse more and more. We don't have the players Real have to ask why we don't play like them ( even with those players, a joke of a coach like Benitez can make them play absolutely awful ). Bayern have excellent pre-seasons and 6 weeks breaks during the season. ( not gonna talk about the quality of their players either... ) Barcelona have had Messi for a long time now, Guardiola made them play that kind of football but Leo saved their asses way too much even in that period, when he has been injured, they have guys like Suarez and mostly Neymar doing wonders now... Arsenal are a bad example, their philosophy never got them anywhere near granted success these recent years, so until they win the league again, bad example. We don't have the attractivity ( and thus the quality of the players ) of the BRB, they are miles ahead, that's what we aspire for, but it's way too hard. The only example I can discuss is City, they have a hell of a squad at the moment, we pretty much left them for dead when they weren't this strong last year. Their offensive play can also easily be countered, even when they are at the top of their game, you see teams coming and smashing them at the Etihad ( don't bring our example, we are nowhere near the top of our game, so yeah, we get smashed by everyone ). Never gonna state enough how squad quality is important in the PL and European football in general, just look at Bayern last year, you'd think a club with that squad wouldn't struggle, and they did ( at some extent ). Ferguson done that for nearly two decades, always had monstre squads, and utility players whom he would play instead of starters and still get the same result with more or less the same display. Mourinho can do high pressing game and """"beautiful"""" football, he just needs the right assets at his disposal, he isn't a Ferguson, he doesn't have Messi, nor the squad of Man city or those supersquads of the BRB right now, the pre-season is the defining problem ( not the only one, obviously, but that's what started this shit storm), he tried a light one to have fresher players for the second part of the season and avoid the problems of last year, he ended up with a bunch of lazy guys who reported back to preparation out of condition, it's everyone's fault, José, the players for their laziness in the summer, the board for not investing in a squad that needed it. There you go, it's like you heard him talking now, this is the "accumulation of factors" that he implies when asked "What has gone wrong at Chelsea José ?"
-
They are actually doing that for the National Teams kits ahead of Euro 2016, so just a rumour, but impossible is nothing
-
The last one is gold
-
I love your positivity ! As Chelsea fans we should know better that miracles do happen
-
Guys, come on, do you seriously I come here to display my disappointment ? I almost smashed my new TV and gone mental, especially in our wasted chances, do you really believe just because I support José I don't give a shit about how we play or the results we get ? Just trying to answer calmly here, I put a little provocation there yeah for sure, but then I stated my opinion, trying to do that calmly, I avoided coming here until i cooled down to be honest, because that really wasn't nice to watch I firmly believe we need to improve, but I also firmly believe we did just so since the last international break, I'm willing to give the guy a chance to fix his shit, simple as that ( no, chance isn't 10 games, I'm talking about the whole season ). And since the same debates just go round and round and round, I prefer to avoid them... @MrBlueGuy, Dude, what's your complex with me I love José, not gonna hide it, get over it dude and debate in peace
-
I'm sitting here laughing at those who are waiting for Mourinho to be sacked Gonna be a long international break for you guys Played good, bad luck, we have been way better since the last international break and the luck uncertainty will surely be reduced at some point in the next weeks, onto the next one, enjoy 15 days outside compétitive football/pressure and move on
-
I honestly can't believe how United are top 4 at the moment, they are absolutely awful, I just feel there hasn't been much difference between our level and theirs this year, the only one might be that they don't concede. Their only good game was against Everton, the rest they were absolutely shit, can't believe they're 4th and we're 15th...
-
Because he can watch the game afterwards, and make judgements based on a calm situation. He's just saying that, he is much of a supporter as ourselves, he'll probably watch it somewhere near the stadium as soon as they kick him out, he said he could do it on his iPad
