None of our mids really play as a CDM anymore. Mikel, Lamps, Ramires are play like CMs and take turns going forward. No one player is strictly staying back as a holding player either. Should Oscar play as a CDM or a holding mid? No def, not. But the way our double pivot works, you can definitely make a case for him. However, we shouldn't just judge based on the last match. Ramires and Oscar pivot will not work against any half decent team. They are great players and can do a job as part of the 2 in the mid but def not together. Ramires is too aggressive and lacks positional discipline. Mikel and Oscar possibly can do a job against weaker teams though. Def something RDM can pull out if some teams are parking the bus and we have to add width yet not loose our attacking mentality by pushing Oscar to CM and adding Moses, instead of sacrificing one of the 3 maestros for Moses.
