  1. Just sorted my team out and everything, looks great, so i will be starting in division one?, or will you guys be making a division two?, since a lot of people have signed up, should be interesting. Starts Tuesday right?.
  2. I've registered, I'm called Mr Sloth team Sloth Rangers. Don't know if there are any spaces available though, but anyway still signed up, just so you know its me.
  3. Yes it would, Kalou will drop back, while Torres will remain upfront, on paper let it be them both together. I think Kalou would do well like that.
  4. No chance, and i'm glad if he doesn't come here. I like reliable strikers who you can always cope on, Wayne Rooney would just drive me nuts. Plus Rooney is getting worse and worse, his primes already went and i could see him falling off completely at 27. Be a very stupid idea if we ever did buy him, plus arent we a little to over crowded for strikers?, were still fighting over Anelka, Torres and Drogba playing, then we want Sturridge back and playing, Rooney would make things far worse.
  5. Man City do good against us, a win would be great, i can see another loss here however, i know i'm the one who loses faith a lot, just that it's City's time to make a comeback i suppose. And were the team perfect for it.
  6. Yeah big point there, England is really bad at boo'ing it's players, Scholes for example was a shockery, and we still never learnt and we will go on booing the likes of Rooney when he's on the England pitch. Fair enough i don't like Wayne, but i have to respect him when he's playing for England, i hate Liverpool, but Gerrard, have to respect the man he puts 100 precent into an england match all of the time. Just think if Cole retired from England, they'd soon be gutted then.
  7. Manchester City always seem to pull off a win against us, can they pull it off again?.
  8. No we won 3-1, or are you being sarcastic?.
  9. I think i see what your saying, i may be talking a different topic excuse me if i am, but still Drogba tried the whole match, maybe he should put his back into it, or maybe he has to show the team he's not capable so he can be sent off and not hurt himself anymore maybe?. He wasn't fit to play, it may of hurt much more than it looked or maybe he was just being a bit of a baby about it, but who knows, either way i just hope he's alright.
  10. Putting the team down like that is really unnecessary, Torres just has to morph in, but there's still no excuse to lack the effort to put in. He's not getting lazy, he just doesn't believe in himself most of the time on the pitch. He has had many chances and has failed to execute them, but you know he's getting there and i'm still proud of him. If he tries that's all i'll be happy with, if he plays with the team then great, that's what i wanted. People expect Torres to be some robot who is meant to score a hattrick every game to live up to his 50 million. Torres got some great passing when we were counter attacking and building up, he played through some poor balls, and you cannot blame that on the team. Maybe our crossing isn't that perfect, i would say he's got enough service to strike his goal, but we aren't exactly top in the league, so were not in full form. It will come and if it takes next season so be it. However Torres can still put much more effort into it and not give up on himself, i don't think he's out playing our team at all.
  11. Dissapointed in Torres, he really does need to put more effort into the game, i'm not to bothered about the goal, just as long as he plays well with the team, and improves our chances. Drogba done very well, infact he was very unlucky a lot of the time, but i was impressed with him. He should start playing from now on, unless this injury has strucken him. Need to improve though, get a win against Man City and that would be brilliant, even losing to Man United would be acceptable to keep us in the top 4. Good to see were 3 points above Tottenham, fully deserved, Boswinga done well up the wing but lacked it down the wing, his defending was very slippery and got pushed of the ball... isn't it meant to be the other way around... anyway a good win, well done Lampard, Essien and McEachran was positive. Malouda getting there, much better performance however, and Kalou played brilliantly, very impressed with him, however i know for a fact he's earned his first 11 place and he will just muck that up, i just know that. But anyway well done guys, really happy. Manchester City, would be a very good win for us if we can pull it off. And Torres please put more effort into it on the pitch, forget about the goal, that will come if you are just playing like a normal striker not if your to desperate.
  12. Apparently he is injured, so i suppose not. I read an article and it just mentioned it's doubtful for this game, i hope the other guys are wrong. I would hate to lose Luiz til may, it's not good for the club or him to get started, it just really isn't. Injuries have fucked up the best players in many ways, a shame Luiz had to get one.
  13. Even if its a 1-0 win to us, i'd be greatful, even though we should be dominating them, a loss would not be good at all.
  14. It's stuff like that what piss me off about Tottenham, whenever they are in a state some player just magicly comes and saves them out of the problem. Defoe who hasn't scored one goal this season, comes to Tottenhams rescue magicly and nets 2 outside the box, an absalute joke. Comon Wolves please score a goal!!!, jesus it winds you up when you read the highlights and it says 'Miljas almost scores as it just goes a bit wide', a draw would be brilliant, make us level and have us a game in hand.
  15. After watching Match of the day, it's unbelievable how lucky Man City where, there goal was pretty much a fluke, and they played terrible the whole game. They even said Wigan deserved to win that, some of the chances they missed was just a bitch, really could of done with City drawing.
  16. Totally agree about Essien, everytime the ball came back he was kicking it up field, we couldn't of won it without him. Zhirkov would be effective in midfield, but i reckon he would do much better as a left wing back than Cole at the moment, and have him behind Kalou on left wing, just think Kalou should get his game against blackpool.
  17. Comon Wigan!!!, get a draw in the next half, would be fucking great for us. Ivanovic and Terry would be a well capable defence for Blackpool, keep them both CB, have Luiz right back, he can do much better than Bosingwa, and i agree with Bluelion to rest Cole and have Zhirkov right back, would be much better, Ramires on the right, kalou left, centre midfield for me has to be Lampard and Essien though, Mikel deserves his game, but to take away Lampard and Essiens games for what they done on the Man United game wouldn't be to fair with them, especially Essien. Drogba & Torres starting. And two players i would most like to come on would be Anelka and Mikel. After that goal though Wigan have 55 precent possession, Wigan are the type of team to give up though, so who knows they probably could end up losing.
  18. You made a brilliant point right there. But would be benching Torres effect his confidence and get him down?, it could be worth the risk. It's obvious we can only assume how Torres would react. The formation is great, but Essien needs his game, and he needs to be starting, he deserves it for how well he played. So it's a bit of a struggle who to get playing, even making Lampard a substitute would be pretty ungreatful.
  19. Just from the top of my head i think Chelsea have 12 games left to play. And if we were to win all them, 84 points we would finish with, could be enough to win the season actually. But i can't see us winning straight 12 games. The Title is lost in my opinion, but if we want to stay in top 4, we need to win at least 8-10 games i would say starting from now. If Chelsea is in good form from Man United win then it's a boost for us. Arsenal have fucked up many times, and with players injured and getting them back on track it could take time, who knows Arsenal could drop down to 3rd. Man City havent been in good form recently either, they could drop. Spurs i think will get back on track with there players coming back. However United, now we have to hope for United to lose a few games and draw if we ever want to actually think of getting number one, i don't think it's possible. But i didn't think the win against United was possible but it happened. But this is United, they've got to play Arsenal and us towards the end of the season. Liverpool they should just step on easily. Even if we won all 12 games, winning this league would be a matter of the teams above us losing. Gotta have hope though at least, Essien is back!, and Lampard is just getting there!, that's great news for us. To be honest the United match we were unfortunate at the end of the first half but in general i think we dominated them on the pitch, if it wasn't for Scholes United wouldn't of got anywhere, noticed how we hardly heard from Nani? or Flectcher?, we totally took care of them, the Rooney goal was a mistake by the defenders not getting in the way of it, someone should of been there to close down, but hey if he never scored that goal, i doubt our players would ever of pulled there fingers out so much. At the begining i couldn't believe how Chelsea played, i expected them to be scared, it was like they were champions at the time, compare that match to Fullham and Liverpool and you can see what i mean.
  20. Well i suppose it's good for us.
  21. Haha, i'm from boro, and i thought this was brill. And yeah he would of done way better than Strachan, a man who thought spending all of Boro's money on Scottish players would make them win the Championship. At one stage it was called Mac'Boro. I bet Gibson laughed his ass off, i mean fair enough i do good on Fifa Manager 11 but i would never apply for a manager job, especially saying that lmao. Middlesbrough could easily be in the premier league if Gibson didn't take so much money out of the club. He has over 100 million for christs sake.
  22. Lol funny, but i predicted you were going to say that.
