I think mata is overrated and certainly wouldn't pay 30m for him, i don't think he can play good constantly. But seen as im sick of Malouda and kalou, I would do just about anything to not see those 2 on the starting line up. Because if we don't spend this is last season all over again.

Kalou must definitely have pass completion under 50 percent. Because all he does is give the ball away.

you had more possession and more chances because you have better players, I went down wings you decided to tighten centre. And long balls is something I stick to it seems to work well for the lone striker.

AVB was testing out he changed the formation. It would be a totally different story if we had scored. At the end of the day all you can do is gamble, no ones psychic and I don't think it's unwise choice by AVB at all. I wouldn't say he messed up the formation at all, he prety much done better than kalou in 20 mins than kalou all game.
