Mats Hummels has been going downhill also, especially this season, I wouldn't have him here. He can be such a sloppy defender at times, did you also see that stupid penalty he gave away in the last game of the season? What was he even thinking there, also injured himself in the process.

If we are going to play more attacking and possession football then I think players of Luiz's capability are ideal for us. He is a great ball playing defender, I like how composed he is on the ball, instead of just clearing it like a normal defender he isn't as one dimensional, he can get the ball going forward. I do actually believe in his own way he creates goals as he is the one keeping the ball in and giving the opposition more pressure by attacking them as much as possible. Rather than just clearing it and giving the opposition the ball back with a throwing or corner or even there defence.

Manpe once said that Ronaldo was very lucky to be under the best two managers ever, I couldn't agree more. I think he is very far away from Messi in terms of class I really do, Ronaldo will probably be nowhere near the class he has been under Mourinho now.

Saying Mikel bar Carrick is the best at what he does is just not right at all. Have you ever watched any other players this season? Look at players like Wilshere and Arteta, they do a much better job than Mikel, work hard to win the ball, and that's not there primary job, they keep the ball and get the game flowing. What about Yohan Cabaye? Fantastic player he really is, always gets the game going, works hard, covers, and gets the ball moving forward. In truth most defensive midfielders are different, we can't really fit them in catagorys, like Javi Garcia who does the dirty work, doesn't seem to stay on the ball much, whereas Scott Parker chases all day and tries to win the ball back however he likes to stick on the ball a lot and look for options and switch plays. Mikel offers very little. Nathan Ake this game showed a lot more than Mikel has ever done, and yeah sure they might have different jobs, but in the case of doing there actual job Ake actually done it with alot more than just sitting back. You know i would actually respect Mikel a lot more if he could get the ball forward, but he's terrible at it, I mean what he does is like Javi Garcia does just passes the ball back, but at least Garcia can do the shifts whereas Mikel doesn't. That's most of all why I find Mikel useless most of the time, because he really offers very little.

He is a good manager, his subs are strange, but that's probably due to his think outside the box ways. Anyway it's nice to see a lot of us fans give him the credit he deserves, good luck to you Benitez.

Benitez has done the job, got us 3rd place and won a trophy. But the hard work starts now, we need to start challenging for the title. Three seasons we've been poor in the league, It's time to change that and start bringing in the players we need and get a good manager. But again thank you to Benitez who has at least helped us and gave us a better opertunity on building the team for the title next season.

What the... Why is everyone acting like we are signing Messi or Ronaldo, this is Wayne Rooney, the most overhyped player in history. There's a big fucking chance he will flop, he's an incredibly average player, a lot of United fans aren't even that bothered that he wants to leave.

It was more the same case with us, infact almost indenticle, in Ancelotti's first season our team was amazing, scored the most goals ever in a whole premier league season and won the Premier League. Then the next season with the same players except for Ballack and Carvalho (who where past there primes anyway) we played the worst and just most horrible football ever, the most uncreative. Even though we finished 2nd that season, I still think that was our worst season ever because we where just awful, god awful, couldn't even pass a ball properly, it was only because of our spirit to come back and win games we managed to get so many points. Oh and we did have a terrific start when Essien, Drogba and Malouda where on form, and once them three hit injuries all at once BOOM! It's just a team past there primes that's all, look at those players mentioned there, they are all like 30 something now, whilst then they where 28/29, which is a likely age for someone in there prime.

Seb has gotten a shit load wrong in the past, most people only like his posts because they think he's some top scout. He also tried to convince everyone that Edin Dzeko was better than Falcao.

Choulo is just playin the victim because he lost the arguement months ago. Let me tell you something, when he's saying things like trolls it's obviously aimed at me, as I have been arguing with him all season. However I have never onced thrown a personal insult in there, so he can say whatever he wants. He has hardly given anything back to the arguement, he has said things before matches and Mikel has done his arguements no favours with his horrible performances.

Look at Michael Carrick, picks out passes from anywhere, runs about all over and covers, Xavi Alonso the same, and yet we get this John Obi Mikel who doesn't run, can't pass the ball forward, can't tackle, yet he has this job which is so apparently vital of sitting infront of the back 4.

Choulo is arguing because he is stubborn and can't admit he is wrong. And he stepped up this season? Well then you're just delusional if you really think that, because when we won games Mikel was just the passenger, he hasn't contributed at all this season. He didn't have a stinker, he was injured for months on end, he's still a cracking player. I wanted him at first and I wanted another DM who has more to his game then Tiote ball winner. Tiote is still a fantastic ball winner, although I rate Sandro a lot more now, he has really stepped up his game.

Because Romeu was a lot better, under AVB Romeu was very good. Mikel has never shown that class, I have never seen Mikel come on and run a game and pretty much make it his, Mikel is a passenger. And yeah sure I've been too harsh, especially at the start, but I used to act very foolish then and immature. And maybe there is a chance for him in the future, but right now we can't just say he is going to be a starter in the future because sorry it just doesn't look that way at all. Not saying it can't happen, but with his performances this season... yeah. Also on page 50 you say that Mikel has stepped up this season? yet this season has been his worst season by far, he has been far too inconsistent. Plus do you think it's a coincidence that now mostly everyone agrees that Mikel is not good enough? Just look at this thread it's only Choulo who argues about how good Mikel is. You can't just say that and point out that we had all these arguements this and that, because I've been arguing in here from day one and I've never seen any good argument on him.
