I do agree there, but i wasn't the one who started the comparison, however i can see Tomo's point in it with the poaching skills and right place right time, but overall, Hernandez is a better player, and even at doing some of the stuff Kalou does when he gets forward.
-
If Hernandez played for us, he would be rubbish i agree. I know he isn't a great forward, but a good poacher, his finishing is brilliant and his movement is always good. And kalou never skins players either, however Hernandez is still a lot better than Kalou, if you put Kalou upfront for United, he wouldn't score all those goals, infact he wouldn't even be on the bench in my opinion. Hernandez is still a lot better and reliable than Kalou.
-
Hernandez is a much better poacher than Kalou, he can header the ball, and his finishing is much better, Kalou may score those goals, but you can't knock how many times he's also missed when he should of scored. Hernandez is a better player than Kalou and more reliable, and the reason United fans don't complain is because Hernandez doesn't lose the ball all the time and scores a lot of goals.

Yes he was decent coming on, but you have to at least understand why i don't have Kalou to put in another 4 or 5 performances like that, even starting Kalou will just do what he usually does.

WHS Inside Source - 2 Players Leaving in January
Kojo replied to We Hate Scouse's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
He did want to go and your right we should let him go, but i think he's worth it to convince, if we ever buy new and young players, people like Anelka will be vital in a way, to bring experience to the squad and coming on in times of need. However i don't know why he wants to go, if it's because lack of first team football, then yes he should go, even i wouldn't insist him getting first team football. -
Krul got a hand to it then deflected it off one of the defenders, the commentator gave it a mention too, i know there wrong a lot but i think it did get a deflection. I'm just being realistic, this was a good win, but we've still got a long road to go, and Kalou in my opinion is still a bad player, untill he starts and gives a good solid game, then i'll change my mind, but at the moment he has proved nothing to me so far. I've never doubted his goalscoring, because that's one speciality he has always brought, but sometimes it's not worth it when he keeps losing the ball 200 times and does nothing else.

WHS Inside Source - 2 Players Leaving in January

Well done WHS!, i didn't want these players to go, i understand Alex going, but Anelka should stay he's still a useful player, it's players like Kalou and Malouda who struggle to even put a decent performance in, where as Anelka is a consistent substitute, and Alex, well he will never be able to play in our highline defending, not possible for him. -
I still want Kalou sold in January, he came on lost the ball straight away, besides that he was pretty decent, not the best finish on the goal, bit lucky but still we needed it after krul keeping out a million of our attempts. He's still a bad player, but if he wants to prove his worth, then fair enough, but i still have no faith in him.
-
Typical commentators and pundits not bringing it up. And Rud Gullit is one shite pundit, the most negative pundit there is, always has a bad word to say about us.
-
He was?, i missed the first 12 minutes, and i only saw the replay.
-
Can't believe some fans are saying newcastle at least deserved a point, all that's doing is taking away about 4 of our one on ones with Krul. But still David Luiz needed this luck, a red card and we would of definitely seen him out of form for another month or two.
-
No, Torres can't pass or hold the ball up, he's still a player who needs to be put away till we get a better team.
-
Happy birthday, my favourite Chelsea player, and always will be
-
I missed the first 12 minutes of the game, Luiz should of been sent off. But you know what, Newcastle have been lucky all season, and our luck has been the oppesite, it's about time we actually got something. Another sending off would of totally killed us off, i'm happy with the win. Sturridge played well, but his finishing was very poor, everyone was getting nervous infront of Krul, the amount of chances we could of scored, if finishing was clinical we could of been talking 6 or 7 nill here, but what do you expect with an out of form team, hopefully this match should turn it around.
-
I was about to show my respect to Ryan Taylor for showing good sportsmanship with the throwing when he could of easily denied it, but after that tackle on Sturridge i won't bother.
-
Not at all, Ancelotti is a legend, he is one of the best managers in the world for chemistry, his way of playing football is brilliant, the typical world class italian manager. However his downsides were killing off our team, and when Wilkins went, Carlo was exposed, he was a poor motivator and couldn't control the players, he also played the same players out of form, he played Malouda constantly, when he was giving a 5.0 average rating every game, and when there was Zhirkov who was much more effective. He also killed off youth players and promising players. AVB was a gamble, and i still think he can be a great manager, however i don't think it will be for this club, Abramovich wont have the patience, he will be gone. It would be completely different story if AVB bought the players he needed at the begining of the season, but for some stupid reason he didn't, and if he was in control of all the transfers, then in my opinion he has no one to blame but himself, if he ever watched our team last season he would of knew we needed new players. My opinion of them both hasn't changed at all, i think Andre is a good manager, has he proven it?, he hasn't, but he's proven his transfers are good. All of the transfers, they are playing well in our team, perhaps if he buys more players we could have a great team, because he knows what to do with them. Or it could be a case of our team is that poor, the new ones will obviously stand out.

Hutch in, BOS out & why our team selections are wrong & DD
Kojo replied to Adam Taylor's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Don't say that, he had the determination in the first place to get back into fitness, don't knock the lad. I think we should show a lot of faith in him. -
Drogba has to play, enough said, Torres cannot play in our team, our players can't assist him.

Devistated to be honest, both of them are my favourite players for Chelsea. I know it's for the best though, just hard letting these players go. Anelka is still a useful player, his experience is handy, and is a great technical player, shame. Alex however i must admit he must go, because he will never fit in highline defending, he just isn't a highline player, far too slow and such. -
I know it wasn't, you're a good poster, and it's good we have people like you on here who show good support and faith, but you must look at it at the other point of view, it's starting to get worrying and being concerned now doesn't mean were not chelsea supporters.
-
Huge blow for them, he's a very good holding midfielder. And any news on McEachran?, i know he had his scan yesterday.
-
Lucas is injured?.
-
Oh sorry for putting a line up, i'll make sure not to do it again.
-
If we got relegated i would be devistated, but i would still support the club i do today. Just because we are saying the team is bad and needs to be changed does not mean we are not Chelsea supporters. I'm concerned about the club, we should be fighting for the title, instead we wont even be able to get into the top 4 with our team. And by me saying that, it means i'm not a Chelsea supporter?, in a way i've lost faith, how can you not sometimes?, losing twice at home to liverpool, 5-3 to arsenal, a club that wont spend money, but spends 50 million on a 26 year old striker when there are better strikers, and an owner who has no patience and will be ready to kick AVB out.
