Take Meireles off, i would agree to that, rather put Essien on.
-
Not in that position, for a striker who has scored the goals he has, he should be able to just wack that in, he hesitates too much. and i really hate Grant Holt.
-
Mata that was very greedy.
-
WTF Torres, seriously fucking sort yourself out.
-
I would probably participate if it happened.

Cech Ivanovic-Cahill-Terry-Cole Ramires-Romeu-Essien Sturridge-Torres-Mata Cahill and Essien are big risks, throwing Cahill in like that could be bad, especially if we lose i think we will have problems picking him up and we need him in form this season, and Essien could also be a risk but if he is ready as we keep hearing in the papers from AVB, then go for it, lets see how do we with him. If there's one thing i've learned about Norwich this season, is that no one can grind a result against them, the only team how has done it were Man United, when Norwich were dreadful in the finishing department. To win this match we have to play well, they almost punished us last game, lucky enough we had that penalty and we were playing good after we were 2-1 up, plus it was a stupid mistake by Hilario. Be good if we can go up 2-0 at least, then i can be confident, Norwich seem to always get last minute goals when needed, and it's usually from substitutes who come on and make impact in the games. I'll be a heart attack if we are drawing or leading 1 goal either it's 1-0 up or 2-1 up or what ever in the last 20 minutes of the game, just hope we can play well and finish this game of. I had a dream we where 4-0 up at half time, hopefully this dream comes true.

QPR team is actually pretty good, there defence is rather poor though. Barton-Faurlin Taraabt That's a good midfield, Taraabt is a good player his attitude is just shocking, no way would i act like that if i had his skills, he doesn't realise he's kicking out the chances of himself being bought by better clubs. If QPR got a good centre back and if they somehow got Tevez.... my word as Ray Wilkins would say they would have to be finishing top half of the table.

I hope what the papers said aren't true about AVB, appearently he said no midfielder will be needed because Essien has made a return, if so then he needs fucking sacking, Essien is not the same player and will only be worse, plus he's more defensive minded, we still need a creative midfielder, there is no way we can finish 4th...
-
I would like to see Ivanovic-Cahill-Terry-Bertrand, just for a nice calm defence for fucking once.
-
Ian McGarry in a way is a very good source, you just gotta look what he does oppesite, if he says we are going to buy someone, we're not, if he says we're not going to buy someone we are, unfortunately he said we are going to buy Hazard.
-
Shame you never had the tackle he made against Berbatov last season when Man United won 1-0, Berbatov was one on one with Jiaskalinen and Cahill made an amazing challenge from behind and got the ball.
-
Nah thanks, just a debate without insults is all i want.
-
I'd only take Moses from that list, Jarvis is a decent player nothing special, Sessengon will probably end up becoming inconsistent.
-
Ah well it's not too bad, as long as the club can pay it thats the main thing, and i doubt other clubs will say much or bring it up, because you take a look at Cities wages, i'm sure they've got 5 people on over 200 grand a week.

That was funny when HD123 (i think his name is) said that to Ollie, it was just so random, not funny what he said just how random it was. When Ollie disagreed with him about something then HD123 said out of no where, you know i was going to wish you a happy new year but i'm not now, infact i hope you have the most painful death or something like that. Lol like how the hell do you just come out with that... It's just like saying to someone, i don't like toast, i think it's a waste of bread, then them saying, i hope you fall off a building.
-
Fair enough, good debate though and i'm happy your sensible to close things down when you can't see a way to agree with me.

Carlo was always a quiet man in press conferences and shady, and that was about anything. Sorry but a playmaker was needed no matter what and another winger, Malouda is how old 32?, lost his pace, confidence and has been playing shite, Essien injured for 6 months, Anelka 32 he won't be able to do much. Lampard was getting on, we lacked a passer in midfield and we should of had one, as you said AVB's style of play, compare us to porto, we lack that player in midfield, defence is fucked and still is in trouble, it would of made a huge difference in our comments tonight if Bentdner of tucked that away last minute. I don't know about you people but it's not going to change my thought on it. But it's logic Terry and Alex would be too slow for highline, also with Romeu coming in so young it was a gamble, Mikel a very slow player who has major problems in the premier league of keeping up with the game. If AVB was to adopt the style straight away, he should of known if the players were right for it. That's what most great managers know already.
-
Then maybe he had 3 things on mind, he had Anderson who was playing great the end of last season and looked like he was ready, so it looks like he couldn't get Nasri or Sneijder so he went with Anderson who he had some faith in. We on the other hand have no one, we need it and that's it!, at least Ferguson had a player who could do it, he just didn't know if he was ready, i think Anderson will take a year or two to actually start playing well. As for us we don't have the player we need at all besides McEachran who is far too young to start. So we should of bought a playmaker no matter what, even if we couldn't get Modric, we should of had our mind on others also.
-
I'm pretty sure all managers analyse and watch what has happened over the last season, if not then that was stupid. And havent a few managers been told they have time to build already?, lets be realistic Roman will sack him if he doesn't finish top 4, and if we don't get the players what are needed i can't see us finishing top 4, if we did finish 4th we would have to be relying on others, and we shouldn't be in that position. The playmaker is a main priority in my opinion, and with Anelka gone too, who adds something to the team when he comes on we are going to need a winger who can come on and do something, because Malouda can't even pick up form.
-
It's not for the sake of it, it's what was needed this season and it's been shown with the lack of creativity in midfield, Modric would of made huge difference and in my opinion we would of at least been 3rd at the moment but we still would of had defensive errors. If we can't buy Modric, then you buy another player of his type, one you also have faith in, you don't just wait till the next transfer window and see if we can sign him then, we shouldn't chase forever, we can probably buy him but that's with us spending a stupid 50 million.
-
I don't think you can blame Henrique or me or anyone on this forum for being too negative, because we're not playing good enough and new players are needed, and it's a shame that we didn't sort it out, and it doesn't look like we are sorting it out this month either, Cahill to me looks like our last signing this month.
-
That's because Wenger doesn't want to spend the money you have to spend. He wont spend on anyone over 15 million, and Ferguson usually does get his players, this season i think he could of done with the centre mid, Sneijder might of been good or he might of been bad because he's been poor this season for Inter, though he has had injuries. Ferguson decided to put his faith into Anderson, but it looks like it was the wrong decision.
-
As in backup i don't mean he's half as good, perhaps 2nd best but this season it was needed! so i think we would of had to get a backup, for example we should of had someone else in line for that Modric deal, instead of just focusing on him, and with Redknapp (yes i know he talks a lot of shit anyway) saying on sky sports news no he's not going at all and we've rejected 40 million, surely we should of had someone else. But yes we might of been but not been able to get a new player in time that could be a reason.
-
Mata, world class, one of our best buys by Chelsea. Romeu once again quality but i've heard he wants to go back to Barcelona but it's probably bull shit. Lukaku, he's just like Torres, a goalscorer, he wont be able to do much if he comes on, he's for the future and should be loaned out. Meireles, good squad player, 13 million was probably too much but i think he can add something to the team if were not in struggle. But that was it, we needed more players, i'm happy with them but it wasn't enough, Meireles was needed in a way but as a squad player, we still lacked a centre back and should of sold alex if we were insisting on playing highline the whole season, and gotten a winger and a playmaker. And about the transfer acitivity, when we are going to close in on a player, it's all over just like on Gary Cahill it was, at the moment with Eden Hazard etc it's all just the average paper rumour for me, but i'd be very happy if i was wrong about it, quality player.

Yes we did try to get Modric and Pastore, but we had no backup for any of them. We dragged on Modric for the whole of august, and had no backup if we couldn't get him, Redknapp was even on Sky Sports saying no he's not going at all on the last day, and about 6 hours before it was over but no we kept going at it and had no backup, but we got Meireles who can't do anything for us at this moment in time, but i still think he's a good player. And Pastore... we offered like 42 million for him?, he had everything to prove i'm happy we never got him, plus have you seen him physically?, he's a twig he would of gotten pushed over all the time on the ball.
