Should be able to win this game, but don't forget Birmingham are doing really well in the league, and we still need to defend well, that Zigic will cause Luiz problems in my opinion, and that Nathan Redmond is a quality player, he will no doubt be playing, he can cause us problems. Cech Ferreira-Cahill-Luiz-Bertrand Meireles-Romeu-Essien (or Piazon) Malouda-Lukaku-Mata If Essien is truley that tired, then i would love to see Piazon play, don't care if he's only 18 be nice to see him play, and nice to see a spark in the team who can go forward from midfield, i know he's more attacking type, like CAM and sometimes plays on wings or upfront, but be nice to see him play, rather than the inconsistent Lampard who loses the ball all the time. Time to show some faith in the youth, and i'm sure Piazon can play against a Championship team. And would be wise to give Ivanovic a rest for next game, or maybe take Luiz off at halftime or something.

Yeah Bosingwa really needs to go, David Luiz is still struggling and mistake prone at the moment, that's why Cahill has to be in, if you want a good defender on the bench, then put Luiz on the bench, Cahill must start ahead of him, he would of been vital for Everton game, i think the whole defence struggled, Ivan just isn't a centre back anymore for me, should be played right back and stop playing that prick Bosingwa, shouldn't even be on the bench, should be Chalobah,Bertrand on the bench, but now it should be Chalobah,Ferriera on the bench, with Ivanovic-Cahill-Luiz-Bertrand playing.

That's the problem, i wanted AVB in here at first because i thought he was special, but he's shown no proof of a good manager in him, so many faults infact he's shown that he's an average manager if that. He doesn't seem to know what he's doing, the only thing, i hope he proves me wrong and this is all one bad thing lead to another and if he gets his own players it turns out to a complete different situation and he is on top of things. Because you can't fault his signings, Meireles wasn't a great signing because of how much we paid, he's never 13 million, but he's still a good player he's just playing bad and AVB can't seem to sort him out. But could be a good squad player if we ever do get a good team.

But then we can get a better manager in, Henrique looks like he's up for the job, i actually hope he's a candidate.

First off welcome to the forum. And yes i agree, i just don't think he's a good manager, he's shown no signs, he also puts too much faith into things, it's logic not to play highline against Arsenal when we have slow players at the back, but he did it anyway... no good manager would of done that, i highly doubt it, but AVB did, however i'll admit i said put Alex at the back and i probably would of made the same mistake as AVB. But AVB has made stupid decisions all season, even his subs, i just don't think he's up for it, i think Porto was a one off, he is a quality manager he would of showed signs of it, however he hasn't, he's shown how much of an idiot he is and makes no sense most of the time, and these players are playing worse than Carlo's last season, now that's saying something... i hope i'm wrong, i want him to be a great manager, i want a long term manager, sick of switching managers, but i think we are going to have to do it, by the looks of it he doesn't look quite up to it at all.

Essien doesn't lose the ball as much as everyone else, Meireles was actually good at switching the play, but everytime he makes a pass to move the ball forward, he loses it... but the front 3 arent helping either. Mata once again good, but we can't pick him out, when he was in the box down the flank, he couldn't put in a cross or square because all the defenders were back, we didn't attack them with enough pace, we need more movement, and more ideas in the team. This might sound hpocrytical of me, infact it's very hypocrytical, but it's just been on my mind all night, we should show AVB full support, we need to highlight he's young, premier league is one of a kind, where serie a and la liga are similar, AVB was going to have it hard, he took the challenge, he's got a punishment. Well look, you don't know anything, we don't know anything, we can only assume and go by a probability for example it's pretty likely he will do well here, like it's very likely Mourinho will do well at Barcelona, but it's not a fact,and you don't know that, he could do terrible there who the fuck knows. AVB was never totally proven, when i voted him and wanted him it was more gamble type, as for Redknapp he's the best motivator in the league, and Guardiola is the same, quality in some of the decisions he's made for Barca, and good and rotation and bringing new players in, if Guardiola came to Chelsea with this team, i think it's likely that the players would be playing better than they are now, because of other examples at his past club, but he's not the best example because Barcelona is an extroadinary club, so lets swap with Redknapp, with West Ham and Portsmouth, almost all the teams he has managaed he has taken them to top half of the table, all the time. And i think if he was at Chelsea we would be doing a lot better, than AVB is doing at the moment.

Well look, the last time we won a game in the league it was 1-0 against Sunderland (i think), and we wernt even good in that, Bentdner should of scored, and then we drew shit loads more games, Swansea we should of lost. Well i've had huge concerns, because he's showing no signs of a great manager, i mean for example if Guardiola or someone, or Redknapp just two good managers (obviously Guardiola is better just a random sample) had the Chelsea team, you would notice we will be scraping out results at least and players will be playing better and putting more heart into it, esepcially under Redknapp, as for AVB he's been very poor in many departmants of managing.

I at the moment think he's a bad manager, i can't see anything coming out off him, he's proved he's stupid with subs, choosing players, motivation, working with youth and thinks it's against the law to spend money. In my opinon a manager always shows how good he is, in any squad, AVB has just shown he's terrible, he's shown no signs of a great motivator or anything, he's just been shit. But the biggest part what's pissed me off is not spending, we need new signings, an overhaul, a winger and a playmaker, not an attacking player who is loaned out to genk for the rest of the season. We should of spent at least 2 players and additions to the squad, not including Cahill or De Bruyne (because he's not here at the moment), a playmaker and a winger, but nope we didn't get it.
