Trying to be rational about this new deal. As bad as he has been for the past 18 months he is a big character in the dressing room. If he's a senior member on limited minutes next season then it won't be a bad deal. But if he's starting games then we can already write-off next season. Same goes for Oscar, Cahill and a few other jokers.

I blame the fired one. We need a culture change in a bad way. No more tall donkeys.

He should have been training with the first team a long time ago really. But to be honest I'm glad it wasn't under Mourinho as he would have been training as an auxiliary fullback.

Funny read, Daniel Taylor has never liked Mourinho and it's very clear in that article. He does make a good point though: Jose is such a volatile character that his actions have ruled him out of many top jobs. He was always complimentry to Man Utd because he knew when or if Chelsea sacked him that Man Utd would be the only alternative. And now even they don't really want him. Tough luck.

Not really. Not signing anyone is a good sign for me. We're not winning anything or getting relegated so there's no reason to many any signings.

Think we need more first team signings. Courtois, Azpi (only at RB), Zouma, Hazard and Willian are the guys I'm interested in retaining for the starting 11 next season. Everybody else is expendable as far as I'm concerned. Harsh on Costa because I like his mentality but technically he's a let down most of the time. Perhaps we sign a manager willing to give players like Baba an opportunity to develop and establish themselves at the club, who knows? But I would go with those 5 players and build around them.

Saw some of the game last night and he played well. He made some good passes, dribbles and link play. Another year or two playing consistent football and we will have a player ready to contribute. Hopefully Musonda makes a similar move too.
