  1. Just stop. Please, just stop. Just stop. Stop. Please.
  2. You can look at it in two ways; we're still rubbish or we won playing ugly which is a hallmark of champions! Yeah...we're still rubbish. Thank god Blackburn showed little ambittion otherwise we may have had a game on our hands.
  3. For those of you complaining about McEachran being played as a DM - CALM DOWN! He is a 17 year old and unfortunately for him he is built like one. He doesn't have the body yet to be in the thick of things, he would get broken in half by your average Premier League player. The DM position allows him to get the ball often and gives him enough space to manover without much pressure. He is being groomed for senior football not a DM position.
  4. Exactly this. Everybody wants a big name signing LOL! Well for those of you that want a £30m player, keep waiting for that to happen and see where it gets you. In the meantime the rest of us will be content that the smallest squad in the league is being added to.
  5. For such a rubbish player we do devote a lot of time to Kalou. The less said the better with him I think.
  6. Boring, slow football devoid of any creativity. We simply cannot create clear goal scoring opportunities anymore. Our whole frontline is embarrassingly bad at the moment. Drogba has lost 2 yards of speed, Anelka is playing like a defensive midfielder and Malouda has offered nothing in an attacking sense. There seems to be no end to these three players bad form. It just goes on and on and on and Ancelotti is just happy to let it continue.
  7. So then Ancelotti really isn't the man to guide Chelsea through a transitional period? Some of his misdemeanors include; playing Ferreira at CB against Sunderland with Bruma available, again playing Ferreira at LB against Marseille when PVA was on the bench. Continues to play Kalou ahead of Sturridge.
  8. That's fine when you have a squad of 25 players that you can rotate in case of injuries, form etc. The reluctance to use them however is beyond stupid when you only have 16 senior outfield players. And Sturridge is an u21 England international, 99% of the clubs in England would give him a proper chance. Unfortunately for him he is at the only club which does not give a f**k about his current ability or potential.
  9. Sturridge and PVA get pity minutes. There is no real plan for either player, especially Sturridge. Ashley is 30 and will probably be around until he is 34. I doubt PVA will stick around long enough to replace him. Ramires is one. Hopefully he will improve on the basic skill set of a footballer soon because his control and passing are really poor. I will pray for him.
  10. Essentially it is just bad form at best or a serious decline at worst. If the fans are angry now imagine how things will be when we really do have a transitional period?
  11. The club is just easing McEachran into adult football. The DM position allows him to see much of the ball and rarely does the opposition target DM for rough treatment, that is usually reserved for the atacking players. McEachran is clearly an advanced midfield player, probably a LCM like Lampard that will link the midfield and attack together. There is no problem with him playing some minutes as a DM, I'd rather that then throw him in at the deep end and rely on him for goals and assists. He doesn't need that pressure now.
  12. Every club has them. Just look at what is going on at Liverpool for example. We have a lot of sensible fans thank god.
  13. Our tansition period was never really going to be smooth. With Spurs and City's emergence the days of the better clubs having a transitional period yet still qualifying comfortably for the Champions League is long gone. Besides our transition would be a lot better if it was a result of blooding in young players with real potential. In fact is it really a transition? The squad is just getting weaker and there are no players aged 20-25 in the first team other than Mikel...
  14. Because for some people it is a lot easier to blame Mikel than it is to criticise Malouda, Anelka, Drogba etc. If only Mikel scored goals eh, that would solve everything!
  15. Man City don't need him and I doubt the rumors are even remotely true.
  16. I would sell Essien long before I'd even contemplate selling Mikel.
  17. You really can't blame them for celebrating like that imo. Ridiculous of them not to see the game out however, shambolic stuff after battling hard to regain the lead.
  18. I would take him. He can't be any worse than what we have now so what's the problem?
  19. He is on the decline and no longer wants to gamble on getting into good goalscoring positions.. He now prefers to just sit alongside the defensive midfielder and lett the others get on with it. He should be nowhere near this team but the next 'best' alternative is Kalou so you can understand Ancelotti's predicament. But then again he isn't the only problem. We have too many to mention and I can't be arsed to be honest.
  20. Do you think the players don't want to do just that? The truth is they are incapable of playing short sharp passing that opens teams up. Close our players down and they will 10/10 knock it back to where it came from, not one of them will attempt to turn his man or give and go in tight spaces. They are just incapable of doing it and teams find it extremely easy to defend against us. We don't have a single dribbler in the team who can open things up, it's like watching 11 robots waiting for a mistake. Things are so bad right now our best option is to hoof to Drogba and gamble on the second ball i.e. our second and third goals today.
  21. I really can't wait for this season to finish.
  22. I agree, Anelka is definitely nowhere near his best. Hopefully his form picks up. Kalou's best however isn't good enough. I'm hoping that he is let go in the summer.
  23. I can fully understand why some people dislike Mikel because of his languid style. But he isn't the problem as was proven last night. And I don't think he needs to attack much. It would be great if we had strikers and wingers we could leave the attacking to as opposed to asking our DM to come up with the good.
