  1. He would have the worst agent in the world if he didn't earn something close to that. You don't move for a 32m transfer fee and get paid squad player wages. What I don't believe is those who say he earns close to 200k a week. 110k p/w sounds about right given his ability and transfer fee.
  2. He didn't even have a bad game against Newcastle. But good post overall.
  3. That would be great. Hopefully he gets the record goal in a big game that means something like the FA Cup final. Leave on a high like King Didier :tophat:
  4. I can't believe you want people to compare Hazard to the overrated Bale. Hazard >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Bale
  5. How sweet is it that he got his 200th goal against those mugs? Well done. Hope he breaks the record sooner rather later.
  6. He did well yesterday because he doesn't waste possession or ruin moves by passing backwards like Ivanovic does from RB. Yesterday though he was a little too tired to deal with Jarvis because I remember in the game at Upton Park he had him in his pocket all game. The game yesterday was Jarvis and West Ham's first game in 2 weeks, if Jarvis couldn't get a little joy out of Azpi I would have been amazed.
  7. Perhaps his first poor game in a Chelsea shirt. Should have at least put one away. Still 16563453845690x better than Torres.
  8. He's really hitting top form just now. Hope he keeps it up after the international break.
  9. If you add up all the times Joe Cole was in 'remarkable form' it wouldn't even amount to a full season. He was average for most of his Chelsea career. You could argue Hazard has already probably had more good games than Joe did in his entire Chelsea career. And there's nothing wrong with that because Hazard is a 32m player destined for great things. Joe was good but he never had this much potential despite what the English media want you to believe.
  10. He is 10000x the player Joe Cole was. Even in his prime Cole wasn't this good and I remember Joe very well.
  11. But they are right now. They're also only 3 points off 4th so they are a very good team which shows they are competitive in a good league despite the ban. If he does well for them then he shouldn't have any problems coming back to Chelsea.
  12. Which is weird because Lewandowski is a pretty big name itself
  13. He's made lots of misplaced passes so far and looks a bit lost.
  14. Mata had a very productive first season. Malaga are a Champions League club. If he plays well for them I don't see the need for him to step down again to a Fulham before making another step up. Good players play well anywhere. Piazon has to prove himself at Malaga first before anything else.
  15. I wish he would start taking penalties again.
  16. I'm watching Piazon play right now for Malagai vs Espanyol. I'm going to watch him closely for the rest of the season. If he does well then yes he should be an option next season. But so far for Malaga he's looked average for the most part. If he isn't going to get proper minutes to develop at Chelsea then he should stay out on loan.
  17. Good players play well anywhere. If Piazon can do well in Spain he can do well in England. We didn't buy Mata and loan him to Fulham. Although we should have done that with Del Horno
  18. By the way Piazon is playing right now against Espanyol, game just started.
  19. Swansea lol they have better players than Piazon so what would they want him for? I know some people overrated our first team players but now it's creeping into the youth players too. Did anybody watch the Carling Cup game against Utd this season? Piazon looked completely out of his depth and was one of the worst players on the pitch. He isn't going to walk into Fulham or Swansea's teams. He is getting good minutes in Spain so he should stay there if the chance is available.
  20. What makes you think Fulham would want him? They have their own good youth players. If Malaga want him and are willing to play him then he should stay there. It's a good level and technically he should improve given the style of play in Spain.
  21. I think we have been very fortunate with injuries this season considering the size of our squad. In fact we've been so fortunate that I believe players have been forced to play through niggles that would have seen them left out if we had a bigger squad. They've even played through loss of form and fatigue because we don't have enough adequate cover i.e. the drop in quality once you go from a Hazard, Ocar, Mata, Moses to a Marin or Benayoun or using Bertrand or Ramires in their positions is too much. We can rotate 6 good players for 3 positions for 60+ games a season quite easily. Look at Hazard for instance, any time he has been given a rest this season he has come back extremely sharp and looks a much better player than the one who has to play every minute of every game because our squad is too weak to rest him. Now apply the same to Mata, Oscar, Moses etc.
  22. We're going to have to try and squeeze that game in at the start of next season.
  23. OK, even then we still need two more attacking midfielders. We're going to play about 55-60 games a season so we need more than 5 players for 3 positions. You need at least 7 to be able to combat fatigue, form and injury. Mata, Moses, Oscar, KDB, Hazard + 2 others would be fine. We could get by with one more attacking midfielder if we had a striker that could play wide if needed but Ba and Lukaku can't. Maybe it'd make sense buying a winger-striker hybrid in the summer to replace Torres. That would mean we have nine players competing for 4 positions if the formation stays as 4-2-3-1. Attacking midfielders - Mata, Hazard, Oscar, Moses, KDB + new player Strikers - Ba, Lukaku + new player So three new players in the summer; playmaker, attacking midfielder and winger-striker forward.
  24. Marin isn't good enough. He hasn't been trusted to play any serious minutes all season and can't get a game right now despite how short we are on players. I really don't see Piazon being a proper Chelsea player any time soon, if at all. Doesn't De Bruyne see himself more as a central-midfielder or deep-lying playmaker as opposed to an attacking midfielder? Hazard, Oscar, Mata and Moses have been the only serious options all season and they need more support. We need at least 2 more players of similar quality i.e. much better than Marin and Piazon if we're going to rotate properly.
