For one, even if we tried to bring him here, I don't think he would want to join or that Arse would sell him for something reasonable. That aside, yes the season behind him is spectacular. Seasons before that? Not so much. He will be 29 when the new season starts. With his injury record that doesn't sound convincing. We would be stuck with an injury prone player on high wages that would give us 1 or 2 good years if he stayed fit. Van Persie is a striker. Yes, he can play on the wing, but it's stupid bringing a striker to play on the wing position with what I mentioned above. Hulk would bring a new dimension into our team. Van Persie would just score goals and give Eva more work.

There is something that gives me a bit of hope. Under Harry players had loads of freedom and atmosphere was really relaxed. He was not some tactical master or attention whore, he would basically just come in, tell 'em they know what to do and put them on the pitch. When Andre starts...it will be loads of videos, constant instructions, no freedom, crazy tactical switches...Tottenham players may not like it. Or perhaps they'll like it and they establish themself in the PL...we'll see. Hah yeah
