  1. Everyone is saying our squad is old, and now we are to sign 29 almost 30 years old player? Nope, it would be a wrong move to be honest. Better get Pastore or Hamsik for that kind of money...
  2. I'd choose Fabregas because he's a class and still pretty young. Kaka is oldish and would cost alot for his age. But chances of bringing Fabregas are equal to 0 so I say Hamsik!
  3. :goodpost: Can help us more then Emenalo We'll probably bring a new assistant in the summer, I believe Emenalo is just here until the end of season.
  4. Only thing that scares me a bit is that Luiz doesn't speak English, and you could see how bad communication ended with Cech and Bran on the Liverpool game (little reminder) and imagine Cech yelling "It's mine!!" and Luiz not knowing what the hell is happening and we concede a stupid goal. That would ruin our match, screw all tactics over and destroy Luiz's self confidence. Other then that, I see him as a first team starter alongside Terry with Bran on the right.
  5. I can't say too much here because I don't live in England but from what I read you are right. Also, I also gotta agree with you that they should quit and give out their all for Chelsea...I think they probably will after the Euro 2012...
  6. Mate I said the same for Torres over 20 times and ummm if I remember he's a Chelsea player now...
  7. That's good. I don't think we need another injury at the moment =.=
  8. What's with Ramires guys? He wasn't on the bench against Scumpool, didn't play against France and I didn't hear of any injury?
  9. Well it depends on which players leave in the summer. I heard that Anelka may be leaving to LA Galaxy to play with Henry, Ferreira will probably leave, Drogba also maybe so it is possible.
  10. Ivanovic made a great cross for Serbia's goal against Israel. I'd rather see him as our right back then Bosingwa. At least there were not injuries or none that I heard of. Can't wait for the Fulham game. Is Kakuta eligible to play?
  11. Alright now, please don't get pissed for me bumping this thread, but I'd like to point out something. There is a quite big chance of us signing Aguero in the summer. I believe he would like to play with Torres in the attack and that for the right amount of money we could bring him in. He's 22 now, and Torres left for Liverpool while he was 23 so it's the right time. And the new contract he signed has a reduced release clause then the previous one. I know you're gonna say bla bla Aguero never gonna happen etc...but I believe you were talking the same for Torres until he joined us. So, what do you guys think? I personally say we got 70% of bringing him here in the summer.
  12. He comes from the Ivory Coast Kalou, Kalou He don't do coke like Adrian Mutu, Mutu He crossed the ball from the left It landed right on Riise's head That's why we love Salomon Kalou! He came in from the Ivory Coast Kalou, Kalou He dont do coke like Adrian Mutu, Mutu Infront of the Kop from the left He crossed it on to Riise's head Thats why we love Salomon Kalou!
  13. Lukaku is strong and very good in the air, while Neymar is fast with great dribbling abilities, but I guess that is takes more skill to be a player like Neymar is. But that's not the real question you posed...the real question is who would fit better into EPL? Then the answer is Lukaku, who even really likes our club and Drogba. I think Neymar can put alot better performance if he went to Spain where players dribble alot more and the game isn't physical. Besides Barca,Real, Villareal, Atletico and Valencia all other teams are quite weak. In England, I think he's get pushed around alot. You know what I think will happen? I think we will buy Aguero in the summer. I believe he would like to play with Torres in the attack, he's 22 and Torres left Atletico while he was 23 if I remember. Add to that Sturrigde and Lukaku if we get him and we'll be deadly in attack. As for Neymar, I believe he'll go to Barcelona.
  14. Honestly 9 million is nothing...Kalou perhaps isn't that good but he's a hard working player who has been playing in EPL for a while. The least I'd accept is 12million. But this transfer or any other that is being discussed depends on which players we buy in the summer. If for example we bring so long awaited Alexis Sanchez then Kalou would have even less time to play and it wouldn't be bad to earn some cash, but I think Kalou is a great sub player who works hard and that's what I respect the most.
  15. I'm always eager for us to play our next match. Not sure about formation, but perhaps 4-3-3 would be best with Drogba on the bench. I'd also like to see Mceachran playing. It would be nice for Torres to score his first goal. The longer he doesn't manage to score more pressure will build up. Time to let out that anger from Liver...Shitpool game. KTBFFH!:cfc:
  16. Yeah right...after we sign Fabregas we'll go for Messi and Ronaldo...I think he'd go to Barca even if they offered him 4 times smaller wage. Great player though...
  17. Shows you why the liked him that much ^^ I think he had a decent game until getting subbed. His movement was quite good and he only got one good ball which Carragher blocked. But for me, this whole Liverpool thing is over, he's our player now and I don't give a flying fuck about what scumpool fans say anymore. We at least have a secured position in Uefa Europa league XD
  18. I'm eager to see our next match. One thing Carlo needs to do is to bench Drogba and show who's alpha male! Stop with the tactics talk I don't think Carlo checks this forum to see what we think, and tbh I wouldn't be surprised if he lined the same formation against Fulham. Stupid international friendlies...if some of our players get injured I'm gonna...well nothing but it wouldn't be fair.
  19. This is the formation we should've played (if Carlo decided to let Luiz start), with addition of Anelka in for Drogba. Would suit 2 strikers more then the one we played today. If Bosingwa likes to go forward let him do it then without having to think about defending that much and give him a hard workout on his crossing on the training sessions and it'll be better ^^ I think he simply lost the feel for the ball with his long absence from the football pitch. The problem with the formation we used today was everything going through the center and with alot of players there we couldn't do shit, and when we were going through the sides it was usually Essien there with nothing happening. With classic 4-4-2 we can be effective both in the centre and on the sides. I mean, ManU is playing 4-4-2 quite a while and they do it very good. So simple yet effective football. What player would you say is Liverpool's weakest point in defense? Kelly. Were we trying through his side? Nope...
  20. I don't agree with Ancelotti's moves sometimes but I wouldn't like him to get sacked. Last season he was really good and I was amazed with the kind of football we played. As I said in the previous post, letting a few older players leave and bringing a few younger ones could show us a pretty different Chelsea. I have faith, and so should you. Do you guys think Roman wouldn't sack Carlo if he didn't have faith in him? I do have to say that playing Malouda/Anelka/Drogba constantly I really didn't like when he had Sturrigde and Kakuta on the bench. It's not about not playing the regularly but not giving them chances. Even when he gave Sturrigde his chance and he performed well he wouldn't start in the next match, instead we would see Kalou sub Anelka/Malouda. Also, you can't expect Drogba to play every match like he did and perform well when he is 32 years old. I have this feel when it was like that our front 3 always need to start a match, instead of ending up on the bench if they didn't perform well. I understand that he didn't give Bruma alot of chances because he's a defender and Carlo's chair was pretty hot, but remember that match against Sunderland? We all know what happened. But also, we cannot know what's happening behind the field. Perhaps there is some quarrel between the players, perhaps they don't like Ancelotti I really don't know. Sometimes we really aren't lucky and our opposition always playing well against us and afterwards playing badly against other clubs. It is not nice of you guys to start criticizing our team or Carlo as soon as we have a bad result. We lost today. Carlo had a good idea of putting Torres in starting 11 because of his motivation, but it was a risk, a risk he decided to take and it backfired, but I also think that our other players disappointed. The match was so slow, kinda like everyone was forced on the field to play. Drogba? I don't think I've seen him. Mikel? To many mistakes for a 1st time regular. Bosingwa? Terrible crosses, but he tried at least. Ivanovic? Extremely nervous, just look at the quarrel with Cech at the end of 1st half. Overall I think the pressure has gotten to our players and that we should concentrate on the match against Fulham. What I think should happen is Torres starting next match and Drogba dropping on the bench. Why? Torres has a point to prove and Drogba hasn't been himself some time now. I think Carlo should show him that if he wants to start a match he should start bombarding those nets... Alot of things can happen 'till the summer...
  21. Agreed mate. If anyone would ask me what is Bosigwa's style of play? I'd say running down the flank and delivering quality crosses, and with Essien and Lamps in the middle we could also be dangerous in the centre. Works wonderfully in PES/FIFA though ^^
  22. Chill down, accept the defeat and learn from it.
  23. I wouldn't like Ancelotii to go...he's a great coach, and I think that after bringing in a few more players in the summer we can play again like we played before. But, if Ancelotti has to go I'd only go with Mourinho or current Porto coach. I did hear and read somewhere that Mourinho could be returning to EPL, and I think Abramovich realised how good coach he was when he won UCL with Inter, so they could reach an agreement.
  24. 4-4-2 is the only way I can see Torres and Drogba play together, but don't forget that we don't have a good right winger. Perhaps if Bosingwa was like he was before he could be playing there. But all these formation changes need to take place in the summer with new players brought in and with alot of training. Improvising along the way can result in a match like this. Simple. If you have your players play 1 formation more then 1 year and then you suddenly change they won't feel self confident. -----------------Cech------------------- Ivan------Luiz-------Terry------Cole Bos---Essien--Lamps-Malouda----- --------Drogba--Torres-------------- Perhaps it is time to close this thread and move on...I'm tired of all this Liverp...sorry Shitpool or Scumpool thing...
