Look, you can possibly know what is going on within the club. Perhaps it wasn't possible to sell some players because of their wage or a sponsorship deal? Perhaps they reached an agreement about leaving at the end of this season? You can't expect Andre to get out and say "We are not good enough and we won't try to challenge for the title. I'll try my best to keep us in the top 4" He needed to be accepted by the players and he needed to trust them otherwise his time with us would be pretty short. On the other hand, if he survives this season and doesn't bring quality at the Bridge then, then you were probably right.

Really tough match for us. It really depends on our scoring. If we fail to make our chances count they'll punish us. I'm optimistic with Sturridge Mata and Drogba in our attack and Meireles making his return to the lineup.

Better say, sell the whole squad and buy Man City one...selling such a big number of players in january is not a solution. Changes as big as that are a risk even in summer. I say, sell Anelka and Kalou and bring in Hazard/Gotze and a midfield maestro like Modric and watch the magic happen. At the end of the season release Drogba and Torres, bring in a true on form and a young striker like Cavanni. Also, bring in Cahill and sell Alex and sort out Mikel's future. Then make decision on McEachran, Lukaku and Sturridge.

No, it wasn't that bad. We failed in the attacking 3 (because obviously Lukaku IS NOT A FUCKING WINGER) and they got us on the counter attack. Then a set piece and bam, 2:0 down. Torres was bad playing like he did last season, but, if my memory is right, there wasn't a single usable ball for him. All the balls he received were at his feet with defender(s) on him which ended with him losing the ball and considering we were playing Liverpool it wasn't easy.

Tell that to some of our players and those fans people who visit our stadium week and week out We can rock our socks of here and all we will do it to damage our eyes more, get pissed and bend our spines
