Hiddink and Carlo , just did what Jose did and got the best out of the team at hand. AVB is trying to change how this team plays and make a stamp on the team. he wants a new era.

Im not 100% confident about getting fourth , due to our form against some of the smaller sides in the league this season. we need RVP to get a nock so Arse loose a few. If we miss out , we miss out it might be the wake up call we need. As long as the bloody dippers dont get it , if they do i may give up on football... god they make my blood boil , the Carling cup is now a major tournament because they won it....

At the end of the day Torres has enough money to retire and do what he wants , it depends how much a player cares about football some players (not saying Torres) Probs dont care.

We could talk about this over and over again but it comes down to a few simple points - 1. AVB is young and will have to learn by his mistakes , he has the talent but will he be given the time here ? 2. AVB was sucessfully at porto , becuase he had the players to play his system , we dont just look at the high line drama ealier this season. we over rely on a taget man. 3. The dead wood is still here ,these players should have been shipped out a while ago and now we are paying the price. 4. Time to asses the sqaud. AVB needed time to see what he needed in the summer and didnt really have the time to make the nesseary changes. 5. Player Power , its obvious there are sides within the sqaud. 6. Lack of passion - what have some of these players got to prove anymore ? they are just building up there retirement fund. unlike the team jose inherited who hadnt won a thing and were young and hungry. I have been very dissapointed this season , but by no means do i feel we should get rid because i dont think he has been given a fair run to make a team. if we are still playing shit with his players then i agree he is not up to the job...

I agree with the the games away at city and the dippers , i think we can beat Arsenal if we play to our best. Unfortunatly its all down to how other teams perform now , instead of previous seasons were our results only counted and we were guarenteed a top 4 place. i dont think it will be catastophic if we miss out , look at spuds. it will just be disappointing that we wont be able to buy the targets we want.

Just read this on football365.com a comment regarding Torres not making the spain sqaud - "What's gone wrong?" Interesting theory for you. Seriously, this is not a joke. Fellow red and Haitian friend of mine who now lives in West Indies (big support for Liverpool that way, a John Barnes thing apparently, him being Jamaican an' all) has it on good authority that a local Voodoo witch doctor is obsessed with all things Liverpool. So what next ... I say concentrate on getting 4th n maybe having a bit of luck in the fa cup. But I thin getting 4th should be our priority. There is no way this team can win the cl and I'd rather go out gracefully then get whooped 8-0 by barca. Get fourth and we can attract the players next season to move us forward.

Danny is a good player with the potential to be a great striker for us. but obviously he is frustrated being put on the wing when he wants to play CF. Anelka was the same a few years back. but the team comes first though him being English helps our English player quota.

There are ways to show your fustrations and by just moaning and saying were are doomed is not the way. I am very dissapointed about the way this season has gone but it does not mean i will make silly remarks about the team. Im just supporting the Club , lets face it if we dont make the top 4 this season were not just going to turn our back on the club. back on topic if we can get our scoring boots on we have no need to worry about Napoli.
