Where to start ? i for one did not think we would be loosing AVB yesterday. though im a bit flat on how i feel the main thing i think we all feel is let down. i dont see how RDM is going to get more out of these players for the remainder of the season ? alot of them know there most likely going at the end of the season , so what do they have to play for. I feel sorry for AVB he wasnt given the reasorces he needed to make a good go at Chelsea. he will no doubt go on to inter , get the players he wants and win everything most likely knocking us down a peg or two in the process. I just dont know how we can be taken seriously anymore , why would a top manager want to come here ??

At the end of the day they get paid regardless and I bet they dont spend time like us worried about the futute of the club

because we expect now , Liverpool have had 2-3 seasons to get used to being mediocre. We haven't , we have always been up there for the past 8 years. Patients is something our fans have lost and its a damn shame. I appreciate everything Roman has done for this club and i can sit here fondly looking back at our success , but it has made some of our fans sooo fickle...

Spot on. Any manager would struggle with these ageing players. people say play the young players , you try doing that with the ego's in this club. there are two ways Roman can go with this 1. Give AVB time ship out the old guard and bring fresh hungry players in (like Jose had). 2. Sack AVB bring in someone (who would want this job other than a big payoff) then let the old guard play on and down the table we slide.

Before the stupidity starts let's hope being out of the cl next year humbles some of our fans on here. Were not the dilusional scousers this club as the reasources to get back to our best. We had this coming the way transfers have been managed. No matter who the manager was we would still be in this shit. .

Just read that article , he sounds a lot more professional than most give him credit for. I hate it when the meida make things up and make fans doubt there own players.

He needs a couple of seasons out on loan then we need to give him a chance if he has impressed , there is no point spending nearly 20 mill on a player then selling them without being given a chance.

One thing i like about Luiz , is he always put 100% in , i know he makes mistakes , but he gives a shit. unlike some others that i shall not name.

Hiddink and Carlo , just did what Jose did and got the best out of the team at hand. AVB is trying to change how this team plays and make a stamp on the team. he wants a new era.

Im not 100% confident about getting fourth , due to our form against some of the smaller sides in the league this season. we need RVP to get a nock so Arse loose a few. If we miss out , we miss out it might be the wake up call we need. As long as the bloody dippers dont get it , if they do i may give up on football... god they make my blood boil , the Carling cup is now a major tournament because they won it....

At the end of the day Torres has enough money to retire and do what he wants , it depends how much a player cares about football some players (not saying Torres) Probs dont care.

We could talk about this over and over again but it comes down to a few simple points - 1. AVB is young and will have to learn by his mistakes , he has the talent but will he be given the time here ? 2. AVB was sucessfully at porto , becuase he had the players to play his system , we dont just look at the high line drama ealier this season. we over rely on a taget man. 3. The dead wood is still here ,these players should have been shipped out a while ago and now we are paying the price. 4. Time to asses the sqaud. AVB needed time to see what he needed in the summer and didnt really have the time to make the nesseary changes. 5. Player Power , its obvious there are sides within the sqaud. 6. Lack of passion - what have some of these players got to prove anymore ? they are just building up there retirement fund. unlike the team jose inherited who hadnt won a thing and were young and hungry. I have been very dissapointed this season , but by no means do i feel we should get rid because i dont think he has been given a fair run to make a team. if we are still playing shit with his players then i agree he is not up to the job...

I agree with the the games away at city and the dippers , i think we can beat Arsenal if we play to our best. Unfortunatly its all down to how other teams perform now , instead of previous seasons were our results only counted and we were guarenteed a top 4 place. i dont think it will be catastophic if we miss out , look at spuds. it will just be disappointing that we wont be able to buy the targets we want.

Rafa would simply delay the inevitable and destroy this club. Simply we need a new team , this s Jose's Team mixed with some of AVB's new team. get the players AVB wants and ship out the old.
