You think Sturridge will be in our starting 11? If I could pick, I would rather to see Josh in our starting 11 more than Sturridge. Josh is great, and Im not so sure that we need to buy another midfielder, because we already have Lampard, Ramires, Josh and Yossi, competing for 2 roles. I thought Sturridge can be a winger, but im not so sure now, and I think we need someone better in this role.

What are you talking about? Our midfield was kind a good, its Anleka who destroy every opportunity. Both Lampard(great goal) and Josh did some nice passes to Anelka and Torres. I was pleased by them actually, because I do not expect from them to do ALL they can, its a freindly match.

I Agree with every word you wrote in your last two posts. Like you said I think this abillity to change our shapes from one game to another, this could be great option us. But I think we need to try Ramires in the holder role. I do think he isn't ready for it right now, but he can surprise us again.

Im realy not sure Mata is good enough, I actually heard Valencia fans saying he's realy mediocre player, and he's VERY overated. Some of them realy hate he's play, they talk about him in the same way we talk about Kalou, Anelka and Malouda.

Do anyone even have an idea of wingers we should get after Sanchez signed in Barcelona, Aguaro is very close to City, and Boas already said we wont buy any of Porto's players because they are very expensive(Hulk)? Aguaro, Sanchez, Vidal. Those three were perfect for us. Aguaro and Sanchez on the wings, Vidal as a Essien replacement and as a creative option, and they all gone. What a shame

So you are saying that until we find a buyer for Anleka/kalou we cant put a bid for a player that we need? its clear that we need someone like Aguaro. This guy is just what we need. Great passes, fast, can be agressive, very dynamic, creative, can shoot the ball well. (10 goals and 11 assists last season btw) And if we are going to play the 4-3-3, he can play all three roles in the mid. So when Essien will come back, he still can find his way to stay in the first squad no matter what, and Im sure he will. We just need to beat Juventus to get him(Bayren gave up from what I've heard from their fans), I think we can do it

St Abramovich, he said a couple of times that he dont want Parker as well as modrich. I have to agree, I dont think Modrich is the guy that will change our midfield like you think he would. If you ask me, we need to bring someone like Vidal, another winger, and thats it.

But dont you think that the fact that every manager we had didnt played him regularly, and did limit him, and didnt put him in a more advanced role, comes from the reaseon he isnt good enough for that? this isnt a option for you? There are different kind of players, I understood what your saying from the first time I read your post, but to say he doesnt have skill becasue he's physical abilities are more important to his game? thats pure rubbish. Essien is so good because along side with his physical abillities, he has a lot of football skills and can read the game very well. Your saying its not true? He isnt known for being the best defensive mid in the world in the last 6 years just becase of his runs and tackels. Mikel has skill, the question is how much. You could have write more than 3 words you know. I explained my opinion about him(in my second post).

Its a vaild opinion to say Essien isnt a footballer? Mikel is more creative? when did he do something creative? :mellow: I didnt saw many good passes from Mikel in the dangerous areas, its always in the center of the field, when the pressure is very low. He doesnt pass the ball for more then a range of 5-7 feet. You can noticed that easily. I even remmember a game that he set up a goal from a long range pass, realy nice pass tbh, and everybody jumed on him after the goal. You see, its very rare that he do something like that. Its redicilous, Essien on the other hand set up many goals for the strikers in his Chelsea carreer. I cant understand where do you see this creativity from Mikel. He has a nice touch on the ball, that doesnt say he's creative.
