  1. True. He is more like a second striker, with a free role.
  2. This ^. And what is funny, is that when you dare say that Torres is a flop, or is poor, people tell you "it is too early to determine this, he is only at the club since seven month blablabla...". Though, as soon as he makes a decent game, people are like "whoo, the old Torres is back !!!"
  3. Last season : Ronaldo : has played 54 games, has scored 53 goals and made 14+* assists. * I didn't find how many assist he made in El Copa Del Rey. Messi : has played 53 games, has scored 50 goals and made 24 assists. Even based on stats Fake Ronaldo isn't better than Messi.
  4. Yeah After the game against United, we were keen to enthrone him as our king, our salvator, etc... And now we only want to play him against weak oppositions and out of position... The very few reckless tackles he made are "the tree hiding the forest" (I don't know if this expression is correct in english.).
  5. This ^. To hear some, we could think that Luiz is less reliable than Ferreira.
  6. Cheers for the sum-up. Couldn't catch the conferences because of my poor internet.
  7. ^ Unlike a few years back, nowadays we can't compare the false Ronaldo and Messi... Since Messi is a class above of Ronalda [sic].
  8. Plus, there was a misunderstood between Luiz and Terry. Terry seemed to play the off-side while Luiz not. Luiz has been turned into the scapegoat for this goal just because it did happen that he was the nearest man of the goalscorer.
  9. That is in purpose to make them an excuse. If they do not win they will say "we do not have sent our best players", and if they win "USA are the best, even without our best players we beat everyone.".
  10. First off, he wasn't at fault against United ! He just has been turned into a scapegoat, nothing more nothing less, by Ancelotti and the majority of Chelsea fan. And yes he was lucky to still be on the pitch. But, wasn't Ronney lucky to not being suspended for this game (when he elbowed a wigan player the week before) ? Vidic isn't lucky to get away from all those dirty fouls he does ? Isn't Van Bommel Lucky to not have been sent off during the WC final ? That's the game, everyone is lucky at some point.
  11. For fuck sake. Some people on here have the same mentality as french coaches. As soon as a player has a very good technical ability, they think he has to play high on the pitch... He is a center back, end of the story. It is just like Piqué... They have both a great skill. And David should play like Piqué plays, in defence.
  12. A French speaking french... You must hide something
  13. You took the words right out of my mouth. I voted for Luiz. Very good in defence, and he scored an important - and nice as well - goal. Mata could have had my vote as well. These two players were brilliant. The german goal-keeper deserves a mention. He has been quite impressive.
  14. @LDN : for the work permit, this ^ edit : oops, just have seen you weren't talking about the work permit. As for Subotic/Cahill, of course Cahill will be cheaper than Subotic, if he doesn't sign a new contract. Though, Subotic is younger about three years than Cahill, and it does seem that the serbian is better (or at least have a better potential) than the englishman. That being said, all depends where Chalobah and Kalas are in our plans. If the board rates them highly and reckons them to have a futur at our club, then Cahill would be a better choice, as he wouldn't last long. But, I'd rather us to buy a right back, and to have Ivanovic as Terry's successor and buy a right back (or promote one from our academy) than to buy any defender.
  15. I love his gestures. By the way, You'll notice, Kalou is hinding in a hood.
  16. Yep. We shouldn't buy english for the sack of it. Phil Jones would have been a very good choice, though...
  17. What a signing ! We have made a very good deal there. A really good defender who has a lot of potential ! Plus, if you take a look, he has scored three goals so far - which is pretty good for a defender - and all those goals were important ! He scored the equalizer against United ; he scored the opener against ManCity and against Leverkusen. I hope he regains his place in the starting XI.
  18. Lol, I do not know. Though, with his lack of pace and dribbling skill, playing in the midfield is a better option for him, imo. He isn't that bad when it comes to pass the ball.
  19. I'll watch with attention what Malouda does (If he is trully in the midfield). Indeed, I think it is where he is the best, at the moment.
  20. Yes, he did say that. He also implied in an interview that he wouldn't mind to be the manager of a french club - if my memory serves me right - (and he said that in french lol).
  21. Sigh... Once again, Bertrand isn't in the UCL squad.
