Given his recent comments on our transfert politic toward this transfert window, I presume he has the full support from Roman to be a long term manager here, whatever the outcome of the season. Indeed, I strongly believe that our board and André aren't insane to the extent of thinking that our squad is good enough to finish confortably and easily in the top four. The fact we have bidded for Willian, Hazard and Lucas proves the management team / board sees that our squad needs a valuable addition(s). On the one hand, if André was knowing he was endangered to be sacked at the end of the season if the silverwares weren't there, he would have pushed to get Willian (for exemple). On the second hand, if for the board André wouldn't be a long term solution, then they would probably buy someone to save 'their' season. All in all, if the board is willing to take the risk of having a tumultous second half of the season to make the needed changes in the summer, then they genuinely have a long term project for this club, with André at the helm of it. If I am not mistaken, then the future should be interesting.

Really hard to say which one of them is the better, for few reasons. First off all, they haven't the same age, indeed Hazard is one and a half year older than Lucas, which at this young age is a lot. Plus they aren't the same type of players nor have the same attributes. Potential-wise, from the little I heard and saw of Lucas, it seems he could be better than Hazard - without saying the belgian won't be great huh.Though, if the matter is about how they would integrate our team and how they would adapt to the Premier League, then I would say Hazard is a safer bet than Lucas. Indeed, Hazard plays in a league much more similar to EPL than Lucas, plus the last man has never played an "europeen" football. Though, I won't bother to try to find out who is the better of them, since I think both would be a great addition to our team, and I would like us to get the both of them.

You're being harsh. The few last games he played, he wasn't that bad. I would even dare to say that he was rather good in comparison with our squad's performances. Though, I accord you he won't have the impact in the midfield that Ramires can have.

Even though I believe we should buy a new player in order to not put our season in jeopardy, I think it is wise from the club to not buy anyone if their targets aren't available in this window, or if they would have to pay way over the odds to get them. To not go after a panic signing would stress a change of mentality within the board.
