Apparently Barcelona are interested in Andrey Santos.

Loved his conference. Finally a reason for optimism. Reading his book made me like him a lot, but with today’s conference he won me over for good. Vamos!

A lot of briefings were given to this media during this PR battle between him and the club. Never was it mentioned that he's leaving because he doesn't believe in the Chelsea project. Only recently there was something among the lines of "Mason thinks United has a bigger chance at winning silverware soon". Regardless, he was "injured" for most of the later part of the season, the goodbye video was taped at least a month ago, and his father went to games at Old Trafford since last winter. He orchestrated this move very early. No matter how you put it, Mason and his camp put themselves ahead of the club's best interest. I highly doubt that he "gave it all" during the second part of the last season, at least. It's not even worth it thinking about him anymore. Even if he becomes the new Cristiano Ronaldo, we should have no regrets about selling him, because he wanted to go.

Still no news. Usually, after these teasing videos, the announcement comes right away.

According to Fabrizio Romano, we are waiting for Ziyech, Pulisic and Aubameyang to be sold before making moves for other offensive players. Still, something must be done about the midfield. It's ok to focus on Caicedo for now, but we need at least one more midfielder, so that has to be done quickly. The sources of our impatience might Arsenal's quick moves and the endless departures from our squad. But still, to increase your chances at being somehow successful next season, you have to move fast.

This is, indeed, a painful one. His tears, man... You can tell it's all genuine, unlike with others. I will always love Azpi.

There is no way we can attract players like Valverde or Tchouameni. Why would they come to Chelsea, considering our new wage structure, and the lack or UCL football?
-
Who else was there to be picked since 2019? Havertz? Werner? Like it or not, Mount was the face of our club during this time.
-
This is bigger than some people want it to be. Mount was an idol for a whole new generation of Chelsea fans. It was Lampard, then Hazard, and then Mount. Him leaving to United is a betrayal and it hurts. But all in all, I think that it’s best for everyone. Let’s move on, and start building a better team, with players that are comitted to the cause.

Everyone used to rate Gallagher following his season at Palace. I remember when we were praying for him not to play in that FA Cup semi-final. Last season, he started off badly and then was just as poor as any other player. But at least he showed commitment and the ability to put in the effort. Klopp sees potential in him, Howe does too. I guess that, if he's coached right, he can offer something to any team. I don't understand where all the hate is coming from. The man was put in a very difficult situation, how can you judge him only based on last season?

The only person that gives me some confidence at this point is Pochettino. I remember being so angry about the possibility of hiring him, once Tuchel got the sack. Interesting times.

If we get one more 18 y.o. kid for 20 million....

The club are milking his image to maximum levels.

Look Romelu, it’s the away kit, but you’ll feel just like home!

It was a joke 😂

Should get him on a free, that would really hurt Spurs

Another young German talent from Leverkusen? No, thank you. I’d rather have Veiga.

Fucking Musk doesn’t let you open twitter links without having an account anymore

Lmao they really used Ms. Jackson for his presentation 😆 Yannick (FootballTherapy) from Youtube was singing this for the jokes.

Willian is set to become a free agent. Thoughts?

I’m on my knees for this deal to happen. Oh, wait…

I mean the 1 year contract offer kind of made sense. I suppose it was meant to offer a decent wage to Mason and provide everyone with more time to figure things out in terms of a new long-term deal. From what it was written in the media, the initial issue that Mount had was that the contract that was offered to him was on too many years. If he really loved Chelsea and wanted to find a way to stay here, he would have accepted the 1 year proposal, and from then some agreement was to be found. He chose the easy way, in a time of transition for his boyhood club. Good luck to him, but he is NOT the victim here. Neither is Boehly or whoever negotiated with him, but it seems that there is a tendency for some journos to make Mason look like the victim.

On paper, yes. But both are 21 y.o. With Enzo being 22 and Conor Gallagher 23, the average age of our midfield would be 21.75. And that's without including the likes of Carney, Casadei, or Santos. I cannot remember a team making it to top 4 with such a young midfield. We need experience.

Well, it is what it is.
