To be honest Spurs, but I'd rather have Ba in front of me than Defoe or Pavlyuchenko and Modric created far more chances for the strikers to put away. I'd much rather have Modric, he makes his midfield tick and works for team whereas Parker plays the role of big fish in a small pond. Do you really want a player that left us because he couldn't get a game and is now older than he was?

Parker didn't have all bad players around him, Ba was a great player for them, Piquionne wasn't bad and Hitzlsperger was a revelation.

Torres is a world class player and he needs to show it this season. He really is capable of topping the scoring charts. Having said that, he really needs to start showing a bit more desire before the season starts.

Thought about it sometimes, but never really wanted him to get the sack, he was great for the club and I hope he does well in the future. I just hope we get someone soon to lay out his plans and stamp some authority on the team and not just be given random signings to work with. i'd really like to take the gamble with Villas-Boas if possible, otherwise Guus or maybe even Pep if he wants to leave Barca.
