Pretty much a done deal, Mourinho wouldn't speak candidly about this otherwise. So many conflicting emotions in my head right now (nothing to do with the 'last kick in Munich' storyline; that'll never be forgotten and forever remain his moment no matter how badly/well he does here if he does come) ... on the one hand he is King Didier and on the other there are the more practical aspects to look at. But I suspect if him coming back means Torrid fucks off, everyone would be down with that for a while at least
Pre season performances go both ways - if Zouma and Salah shouldn't be judged too harshly, Boga and Baker or whoever shouldn't be put on a pedestal either; I'm already seeing tags like 'world class talent' being thrown around. Before anyone chips in with how amazing he could turn out to be, I agree he is a real prospect, has been so for a couple of years and doesn't need a goal against Wolfsberger to confirm that, but it's not a bad idea to temper the hype/expectations before we see something concrete developing on the first team front.
Doesn't work that way. Much of the shirt/kit price goes to the manufacturer (among others), the club only receives a fraction. This is Madrid so the fraction might be higher than say ours even though both are with adidas.
Just looking to avoid all the travelling post a WC period in which the team comes back in a staggered manner. And in terms of quality of opposition, we're not going to be facing worse teams than we did last season - Malaysia All Stars / Kitchee Sports Club.
