  1. Can someone tell me how to quote multiple posts in one reply? Thanks.
  2. I agree, so he should get his 15-20 minutes every other game and starts in the cup competitions, just not the 30 mins every game like you say.
  3. Disappointed that Carlo didn't put Zhirkov on. Didn't get the idea behind subbing Kalou for Malouda.
  4. What HAS he done to prove he deserves more playing time?
  5. Ramires gave a decent debut performance, good work rate and always available for a pass. Didn't look too out of place in the Premier League. The thing I noticed about him was, he sort of glides across the pitch, very quick on the ball.
  6. Oh yes, forgot about that. Bloody Motta!
  7. I'd go with - Cech Ivan, Alex, JT, Zhirkov Essien Benayoun, Ramires Kalou, Drogba, Malouda
  8. We'll be coming back from Slovakia and they'll put numbers behind the ball and try and make it physical. Hope to see Zhirkov start...
  9. A classic, efficient Chelsea performance. Every point counts, and we're 4 up on United scum already. Pretty chuffed, good weekend ahead
  10. An indifferent sort of game for our forwards today. West Ham were up for it today, you'd expect them to be, considering the position they're in atm. Tried to play a quick physical game, but we stood up to it pretty well I think. Defended in numbers and didn't really give them a lot of clear cut chances. Solid defensive display, Mikel was excellent. MOTM for me. The kid just continues to impress every time. Ramires gave a decent debut performance, good work rate and always available for a pass. Didn't look too out of place in the Premier League. The thing I noticed about him was, he sort of glides across the pitch, very quick on the ball. Very happy to see Kakuta get decent minutes on the pitch. The only sort of downer for me today was the refereeing. The ref was pretty dire actually. 3 more points in the bag, can't ask for more. Now for some Champions League footie!
  11. Only Kalou could've scored that. What a sublime mid-jump heel-lob. He left Rob Green kalouless
  12. Listen to what the big prick has to say : "I have more respect for them [Liverpool] as a club, in a sense of their tradition and their history, than I would do some of the other clubs that have been coming on the scene in the last few years, throwing a load of money at it," Neville told MUTV. "They have a good history - you have to hand it to them for that. They have been successful.'' Is that a pop at the reigning champions, Mr Neville? Is that the best you can do?
  13. They do say you have to be crazy to be a goalkeeper ... Btw, wtf is the other guy celebrating so much for? It was a piss poor penalty!
  14. You can't fault JT's commitment to the cause and his passion for this club and his football. Once he steps on the grass, he's a true, natural-born leader and everyone watching and playing can see it. Carlo can say what he likes, we know our no 26 will shed sweat, blood and tears to see us across the finish line. Not for nothing is he Captain, Leader, Legend.
  15. Aw man I wish I could meet the Chelsea guys just once! P.S. No offence, but surely this shouldn't be in Matthew Harding Stand.
  16. Yeah I was surprised when I learnt about Ivan. Read on another thread that Kakuta's contract is in the process of renegotiation, so hopefully that should be sorted out pretty quickly. I guess the club will be waiting for Bosingwa to prove his fitness before extending his.
  17. Also in the squad will be Gael Kakuta, the Uefa Under 19 European Championship Golden Ball winner, who Ancelotti believes must be considered a part of the first team squad. 'He will be involved tomorrow in the game. Now he is first team, he will have the same opportunity as the other players and he deserves to play because he trained well, he is focused and concentrated,' explained the Italian. 'He will play and we now have to consider him not a young player but a player in the first team.' From official CFC ...
  18. Why did Hodgson get the award? Isn't the award given for league performance?
  19. I find the whole concept of a sportsman being a role model naive. I mean sure it's natural to admire someone for how dedicated, professional, humble etc they are, but as the saying goes, nobody is perfect and if you look up to someone as a role model and one day you learn about their misgivings, it just breaks your heart. I've never had a role model in my life, and I don't regret it. I feel it's better to acknowledge and imbibe the good part of everyone rather than idolising just one guy. That's just my opinion, hope I don't get slagged off for it
  20. Happy for Carlo Player of the month - What a joke. In what way has Scholes outperformed Drogba?
  21. I think the site meant to say that Carlo has to decide whether to play Malouda in the midfield or on the wing. If in midfield, than Kalou on the left wing. But I want Zhirkov there!
