  1. Just wondering, is the Liverpool hate restricted to LFC or does it include Everton as well ? They're scousers too, right?
  2. Delighted with the result and scoring 4 goals away from home in Europe ... it doesn't happen too often. These fixtures can be tricky, like Apoel Nicosia last year and Cluj the year before that. Glad to start the campaign with a bang.
  3. The mods know that I've been nothing but extremely supportive and appreciative of the work they do in keeping this site as good as it is, so I find that comment a bit out of order if it was meant for me. If it wasn't, my bad, sorry to bring this up.
  4. Delighted for Studge. Carlo obviously thinks very high of him, maybe it's the start of a decent run in the side for him? Love how everyone is getting a rest on a rotational basis without actually putting out a weak team. Alex and Flo against West Ham, Nico and Ash for this one. Will still be a tight game I feel, they're not gonna roll over. Champions League debut for them so they'll be absolutely buzzing and would want to do some damage to the big boys in the group. Also, it's the start of a new competition, so there'll be some nerves on our side. It's obvious we'll create chances, and if we take them, we should be home and dry quite comfortably. P.S. Anyone has streaming links for the game? I won't be able to catch it on telly, the cable guy would be showing Madrid vs Ajax instead.
  5. Tomorrow we could be without our 'spine' if JT doesn't play as Lamps and Drog are out too. When was the last time that we played without JT, Lamps and Drog? I can't remember any such instance!
  6. I've been saying it for ages now ... he's so unappreciated. Delighted that he's finally getting the praise that he deserves. If this is what he can be like at 23, think what a monster he'll be years down the line.
  7. Barring last year I think we've been extremely unlucky in the CL. No matter what happens we'll be there or thereabouts that's for sure. We've got a better squad than last year, some of the dead wood has been cleared and a few youngsters brought in, which is always good. It's a better mix of youth and experience this time round. CL is too difficult to predict as there are too many variables in play but I think we should be able to reach the semis, and from thereon it's anybody's game.
  8. So doesn't matter what you do, at the end of the day if you open up another account and claim you were wronged, and some members support your return, you're back in. But obviously it's the mods' decision and I respect that.
  9. Welcome mate @ BC : You ain't odd!
  10. No, more like he brushed against someone ( Thiago Motta) and he went down like he had taken a cannonball in his nether regions. But then he himself got sent off in the semi against Barcelona ( this time due to Busquet's playacting). Karma's a bitch.
  11. Yeah I came across a few insults. I'm not sure if you read those posts ... Anyway I don't think anyone is going to have a problem with him if he just keeps his head down and try and cut back on the stuff that got him evicted.
  12. Trying to disguise insults and hateful statements as 'an opinion' will obviously get people worked up.
  13. As I said, I don't think he was expelled for 'arguing' or 'expressing his opinion'. More to do with derailing threads and name-calling. But once you claim that you are victimized for having an opinion, you shouldn't go around crying like a baby when someone differs from your opinion (effectively doing the same thing he claims he was victimized for.)
  14. Zolayes, don't bother replying mate. Haters gonna hate.
  15. ^ Who has ever had a problem with people expressing opinions? The problem with this guy was the constant name-calling, blind hate on the likes of Benayoun, derailing of topics, and arguing with anyone who doesn't agree to his point of view. P.S. LOL at the ® mark
  16. Nah no worries at all mate. As I said, everything's perfect here anyway, just thought of running the idea by you. Thanks for thinking about it
  17. To be expected. We haven't treated him very well tbh. Like 25 said, hope he has a good season so we can get a decent fee.
  18. Great stuff! Big thank you to all responsible for it
  19. You can also say that giving him 30 mins once we are 3 or 4 nil up doesn't lead to his development either. As I said, I think Kakuta, Sturridge, PvA and Bruma should be definite starters in every cup game, no matter how far we go. Couple that with the odd start against weak league opposition and 15 mins every other game and they'll be first teamers in 2 years.
  20. Thanks. And what if I want to quote different parts of one post separately?
