  1. Leverkusen would be brilliant. Bally at the Bridge one last time!
  2. Mata won't start. Re Oriol Friday is decisive day as it is difficult to establish relationships with new teammates this soon :AvB in presser.
  3. One hack asked if the relationship Torres and Mata share will help get the best out of Torres. AvB made a funny face and murmured something to dismiss the question
  4. Seems to have a lot of tough teams in the 3rd and 4th pots this year. All good, the group stage is just a walkover usually. Nice to have competition, makes you battle hardened.
  5. The Reserves are short on strikers with Lalkovic away on loan and Philip injured long-term. Piazon would help.
  6. 2 good things about this that I like : 1. Malouda out 2. A 4-2-3-1 maybe? Torres Perreira Mata Sturridge Lampard Ramires
  7. Compare the number of passes Drogba receives inside the box in his 30 mins, and the number Torres receives in his 60. 3 against 0. Zero service to the man. Hopefully Mata will change that soon enough.
  8. I think Bluelion or any of the other staff members would be able to answer that best. Don't think calling Spurs 'yids' sparingly would get much reprimand though.
  9. We've been wondering how to unlock Torres since the day he arrived. All this time we had the answer sitting on our bench. And we didn't use him. The ways of this club sometimes ....
  10. Let's not spoil the legend's thread by posting the unimportant opinions of deluded people who're still living in the 80s

  12. Meh ... if I have a choice between Best, Ameobi and Lukaku, I know who I'd choose.
  13. Swansea would be a bad choice I think. They're always going to be fighting against relegation, Lukaku could do without that burden of scoring goals to keep them up. Newcastle would be perfect. They desperately need a striker.
  14. He wants to be Chelsea's Giggs dontchaknow
  15. I said on another thread that I don't like the role Mikel plays in our 4-3-3, but I understand it's important because his presence allows Cole and Bosingwa the freedom to get forward and join in on attacks. So yeah I can understand where you're coming from with that Mikel and Ramires combo but imo dropping them after their performances so far (and under very stressful mindset in case of Mikel, not to forget) while continuing to play Lampard who's provided literally nothing would send out the wrong signal. Yossi --- Ramires Mikel Would be awesome. Josh on standby. Won't happen though, I know.
  16. The only one who doesn't deserve a place in that midfield is Lamps. Why discard Rambo and Mikel after their assured performances?
  17. lmao, how is that Bertrand tweet supposed to indicate that he's unhappy?
  18. Nice insight on the move ------> http://soccernet.espn.go.com/columns/story/_/id/947544/samuel-eto'o-to-anzhi:-the-motivation?cc=4716
