I disagree. During the time we played Everton last season Cech was very unconvincing in the games leading up to it and including it. Especially with the set pieces. He wasn't directly responsible but he did leave his defence with no confidence, his choices to come and get the ball/not wasn't clear and there was no communication between him, Terry or Carvalho. But like I said, he's left that blip in form behind him now, this season we've seen his confidence soar and he's more decisive than ever when coming to collect the ball.

Okay so I said that out of anger/late night.. Apologies But seriously. We can't start this tradition again of going through managers like they're commodities. Carlo brought some stability to the squad last season, and during the beginning of this season. We have to give him some faith to carry the team through his hard time and if he comes through it we know we've got a keeper. I was alarmed to read in August, this is the only season we've had the same manager in about 3 years! No football team can function in such conditions.
