Ok, so by now, the Malaria should have cleared out Drogba's system. This means he should be 100%. Now obviously from this game, we can draw many assumptions. This is truly the definition of a dead-rubber game, so who knows if Marseille will give it ago. I know if Drogba get 2 or more goals then he'll be ready for Sunday, so here's to hoping..

Lol to be fair, this reflected his first season here. He didn't look as good as we thought he'd be. He came to life in his 2nd season, more or less, after the rumours of Shevchenko (and his subsequent) arrival came. I understand his point though, we weren't that big of a club when we went for him, I'm sure he'd rather Manchester United or Arsenal go for him. But thank god the bargain (on his part) paid off

I would agree about benching him, but had it not been for our next fixture list (Tottenham, ManUtd, Arsenal) I don't think we can afford it, nor can Carlo. If Drogba does not play and we lose everyone will look at Carlo and say "why did you drop Drogba" and start that whole media whirlwind. Perhaps he should've been dropped for Everton but what's done is done.

Just a little over a month ago nearly everyone was singing praises of Anelka, saying how consistent he's been. Now we're going through a rough patch he's turned into enemy #1. Anelka has been better than Drogba recently. I know Drog's had malaria but everyone in the team has been playing bad. Even Malouda and Cole. Anelka & Ramires are the ones being singled out though. Let's wait till we get out of this "rough patch" and see how he's doing then huh?
