  1. They can say no. It's up to Aguero about the buy-out clause, if he chooses to leave then that clause becomes active. But the fact he's signed a new contract shows he's not interested in moving in January.
  2. Newcastle loved him when he was up there! They'd still welcome him as 1st choice left-back.
  3. I think this is the first time we've actually made a bid this time though
  4. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/c/chelsea/9373739.stm
  5. It's January. They won't be able to spend that money to "revamp" now. If we come back in June I'm sure they'll consider it better.
  6. If indeed Roman is back spending.. Then let it be smart buys Aguero = Good Godin = Not. (Already got Luiz sorted.. More or less)
  7. Woah! Didn't see that coming Carlo lies once again but why Godin? :S
  8. That's a disgrace! The evidence has clearly been fabricated! I recall seeing Andy Gray in the technical area at half time!
  9. Drogba United FC - Suck on that :champions:
  10. Great stuff! Let's hope he takes his chances there
  11. Sam Allerdyce for permanent replacement?
  12. I wouldn't worry, that was on the 14th - A lot's happened since..
  13. Afaik by the way, we'll know if Benfica accept the bid much earlier than Chelsea report it. Benfica has to report an agreement to the Portuguese Securities Market Commission first, that's why we knew about Ramires before Chelsea announced it. They reported the Ramires agreement on 4th August, we confirmed it on the 13th September. For example take a look here where they confirm Chelsea's bid lodged on the 14th.. This one confirms Di Maria's departure to Real Madrid & this one confirms Ramire's transfer So keep an eye on the Benfica section on there
  14. Appropriate lyrics for that picture
  15. LOL wow! I didn't realise they opposed the idea so much. Don't mind seeing the Hammers get it, but I don't think they'd fill it really.
  16. Yeah I know what you mean, usually his composure is great, like Josh's. Yesterday was his first game back from his injury so I think he was a bit out of touch. But none the less he's a very crucial member of the squad when he plays in that role - I think he does it better than Essien and that being said, I think the push for Essien to play alongside Lampard is great too, so it's really a win-win
  17. Sven is a great coach. Van Aanholt will learn a lot from him.
  18. I think Mikel is better than Essien at defensive midfield play. It is therefore the case, Essien and Ramires should be battling out to show Carlo which deserves to play - Thus bringing out the best of each other alongside Lampard.
  19. Luiz doesn't need a work permit. He holds Portuguese dual-nationality. (So I've been told)
  20. Difference is.. That wasn't intentional..
