True. They were a 6.5 at best. They did leave a lot of gaps in the box though, but their closing down play was sharp which led Marseille to try and shoot from long range most the time.

I really like Kalou. His determination on the pitch is next-to-none. Sometimes I think he's trying harder than Drogba. If only he could improve his all round technique and pace he'd truly deserve to be a 1st team starter. Until then I don't mind him playing the "impact sub" role
