  1. Yeah. No-one at the club realises it though.
  2. I prefer him staying quiet though. Gives less ammunition to the media about him not being interested and all that, lord knows who they'd twist everything he'd say.
  3. Very much likened to Theo Walcott. Same club as well, as it happens. Liverpool & Arsenal are tracking him too..
  4. Hahaha well I would've loved to put Sturridge in the centre but Carlo seems intent on making him into a winger :\
  5. That's because Luiz has established himself and he's young. We found Alex and Ivanovic, so they were unknown till we found them.
  6. Yeah, because when Bosingwa or Cole go bombing forward, rarely does Anelka and Malouda track back as cover. As a result Mikel has to cover both of them and just gets crowded out in the end.
  7. Ground share with QPR.. Might be something to look into, they're owned by a very rich man and look to be set on their way into the Premiership. This could be very interesting..
  8. Exactly!! And they hadn't even played a reserve game (except one vs Bayern) in that period!! Who's idea was that?!
  9. Hmm, I guess it's the service + the overplaying that could affecting him. But we do need him firing from 2011 otherwise we will be in some serious trouble. Drogba knows if he recaptures his form from last season our season can be saved, I hope he's working on doing that now..
  10. Yeah that's a downside. He really is a fantastic player, if he sorted his attitude he'd be amazing. (sorry for going off-topic btw ). I'm sure Carlo could work some magic though (if he wanted to anyway)
  11. Ah yeah fair enough on Souness. He's great on SkySports. Andy Townsend on ITV really annoys me. I know he's ex-Chelsea but he really does annoy me as a co-commentator.
  12. Kakuta would flourish under Didier Deschamps.. Hope it happens.
  13. I know, but he's just so infuriating now. His play and attitude is so off now. He looks like that player who wore #15 and didn't really want to be here and just roamed the pitch. I just look at him on the pitch and he looks like the most lazy one there, not making great runs into the box, he's never there to meet crosses into the box. I might be harsh saying he's done, but there's a difference when he bring him on in the 2nd half to when he starts. Now is the time Carlo should change things around, we have another striker in the name of Danny Sturridge, let's give him an outing in Drogba's position see how he does. It's not even 2 months for Drogba either. The entire season he's been off his game, imo anyway.
  14. £10million would be a great deal Shame Perez wouldn't see it like that
  15. I'd love if we signed Super Mario!
  16. Nah, I like Mikel.. I think when he's on the ball, his control is probably the best anyone has on the squad, bar McEachran perhaps. His composure and control and Josh's are fairly similar actually. Fully agree with the last line, but the fact that we don't, is why I'd like to see Mikel make those runs, just as in impulse. We've seen Terry try it, but if Mikel did it he'd be superb, because of that control he has.
  17. Perhaps. We've just got to hope good signing are made next month so that the players can keep us in that 4th or 3rd position.. Carlo's not totally inept, he will be able to keep us in the top 4.
  18. Basically, I think Drogba is done. He's goal record his poor, he's giving the ball away too often, he's not fighting tooth and nail to get goals. I remember on the last day of the season his spat with Lampard over the penalty for the goal.. I didn't mind that, I was actually glad, it showed how much he loved scoring and to be the top scorer. All that is gone, he's lost the hunger, the drive. He's a liability now. Pathetic isn't it? Especially since Sturridge would rather play that centre forward role. Seems, as usual, Carlo doesn't want to take that risk.
  19. Once we fix our defence and stop the goal leaks, then I'll be happy to see Mikel sitting at DM. At the moment, I'm still not sure about his defensive abilities, as in getting in that crucial tackle and all. Though often John Terry is the last line of defence anyway. I'd also love to see Mikel attack a bit more, come out with the ball, while Essien or Ramires just sit back to give Mikel that support in case he loses it out. The boy was an attacking midfielder, I'm sure he still remembers how to make a good run.
  20. Neymar's investment. At least he's showing all the signs of getting to his peak, baring in mind his age of course. It may take him a while to get used to the move, because he's just a kid, but at least he'll have time to improve, adapt and all that. Kaka does not have time on his side, he's decline is evident for all to see. AC Milan were geniuses for selling him when they did. They enjoyed his peak, and made a profit off of his decline
  21. Max, be fair. A scouse he is, but he is very intelligent, arguably one of the best pundits that there is right now. His analysis is usually very good, he just got carried away on the bandwagon last night
