  1. This false 9 thing really isn't for him. Don't think he looks comfortable there at all, needs to be playing with an out-and-out striker - Shame we don't seem to have any of those lately.
  2. Hmm.. I don't know what to make of that. I mean some of us were slating Lukaku once upon a time for not sticking around to breakthrough into our team - Could the same be applicable for Bamford? To be honest though, I don't know why Pardew even wanted him. He signed Wikham for £8m ffs, after that Bamford was always going to be 3/4th choice behind Chamakh and Gayle (until they shifted him). Still young though, send him back to Boro maybe?
  3. Is he still better playing double-pivot?
  4. It's funnier when you think that someone spent money actually making them before its definite
  5. Man would it be funny if he doesn't end up at United - The fans who bought those scarves
  6. Remy really does need to fit for these situations. There's only so much we can keep saying he should play, but when he's not there to take his opportunities...
  7. You never know, Karanka could want him back. They've been linked to Jordan Rhodes in Jan (given Blackburn's struggles), but I'm sure he'd gladly take Bamford again.
  8. Come on Stats, you're better than that. Like with every thread that starts in it's early days (see; Lampard), there are some valid points that aren't out of spite.
  9. Yeah, I mean I did bring up the same issue in the Ivanovic thread. But at the same time, given the fact we're talking about hindsight lately on various ex-players, Rahman could come good with a run of games. Whether it's true or not, it's still a proactive approach. This approach is reactionary, Hiddink's waiting for his disaster to fix itself without some intervention other than 'look at yourselves in the mirror'. Again, I'm not calling for his head but I don't buy this argument he hasn't had enough time to analyse our weak links.
  10. I don't want to be 'that guy', but if he couldn't force his way into Palace's plans.. I mean they bought Wikham ffs, Bamford is better than him. Whether its the fault of the player or coach remains to be seen.
  11. I do ponder one thing, if Ivanovic is dropped who do you guys want in? The way I see it we've got 2 options; Azpi - Terry - Zouma - Baba or Aina - Terry - Zouma - Azpi Ignoring choice of CBs, do you guys think Baba is ready to make that LB spot his? I mean Azpilicueta is in fact a terrific left-back for all intents and purposes.
  12. @Peace., I hope you see this ^ A few months or maybe even last year, we spoke about the same thing. For all the praise, hype and exposure RLC had received from JM and youth-fans alike, what do we actually know about this kid. Is he ready to compete at the top level despite not having gone out on loan somewhere? Is this cotton wool approach really necessary to bring him straight out of the academy before he's forced his way into the team? Hell we even sent Terry out on loan at least once before he broke into the Chelsea team. Loftus-Cheek, like any other youth player, still has to prove himself and I think he'd do well to do it on loan where the pressure wouldn't be as great on him.
  13. To be honest, I've not seen many people say they want Guus out at all. We're simply calling him out on the things Mourinho got fired for, of course it's absurd to ask for his head after 2 games!
  14. Hahahah, not many will remember her! They barely remember Michelle
  15. Kane gave Sherwood the ultimatum, play me or let me go. At Chelsea, the default answer will always be "off you go". Lukaku demonstrated that quite well, didn't he?
  16. Hey, hey, I'm not here to judge... If Kelly Rowland is what helps you through these dark times
  17. I never took you for a Beyonce guy, but whatever floats your boat..
  18. I do agree with this to an extent. The problem I have with 'this time next month' is our position is precarious that the point of sacking Mourinho now was to bring in a manager who would implement the changes we've been crying out for. Namely, sorting out this defence which clearly has a massive gap on the right that needs plugging. I'm not even suggesting we use Aina or Loftus-Cheek or Musonda to sort this out. Right now, I couldn't give a flying crap about youth integration. We're in a relegation scrap and are struggling to get 3 points consistently, anyone can see where the problem is and Hiddink's reluctance to act immediately is telling. I don't want to speak on the farce of RLC's introduction today - Mourinho was slated for similar. But when a 19-year old is continuously skinning our undisputed right-back, you don't need a week to act.
  19. Lol.. Just because Hiddink continues to die by the José sword doesn't mean the club didn't do what was necessary at the time. You'd think they'd then learn to not rehire another former coach, but hey ho.. (p.s. if you're being sarcastic, apologies as I'm too frustrated to notice)
  20. With that one save, compared to DDG's numerous, he showed why he's superior. (I do rate DDG highly though!)
  21. What, forgot about RLC coming on in the 92nd min?..
  22. @Henrique @Ossie the King Find myself agreeing with a majority of your posts today; regarding the team and Hiddink. Props to you guys :tophat:
  23. At this point, I just care more for my fantasy football team. Clean sheet means I'll probably get bonus points for Smalling and DDG
