  1. Nah I don't believe in that one tbh. Someone made the point Sturridge works better with another striker, and I believe that. Torres & Sturridge can work, but the team needs to remember, it's not all about Torres being the pinnacle of the attack. I don't even care if Torres doesn't score and we hear the 'only x amount of goals in y amount of games'. As long as we see the foundations of Torres & Sturridge's link-up play, I'll be happy. This would be my ideal line-up. This is a the games McEachran should feature in. <-V->This part is more of a dream than a realistic tactic ------------------------Cech --------Ivanovic Luiz Terry Bertrand ---------------Meireles McEachran Sturridge --------- Lampard --------------- Mata -----------------------Torres
  2. Lol, if we hire an experienced one = he's probably too old, we need someone younger who'll create a legacy. someone younger = he's too inexperienced, we need someone like Hiddink
  3. Yeah. And how's the manager supposed to change this squad, when he keeps getting fired? He may as well not bother. We argue this is 'Mouinho's squad' well that's because no manager's been given the time to make their own.
  4. Lille will sell for £40million http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story/_/id/987812/lille-president-sets-eden-hazard-price-tag-at-L40m?cc=5739
  5. He's 100% right. Feel sorry for him.. Last season, it was his magnificent keeping that kept us afloat and in contention. It's the same this season, but worse in defence. 2 managers are not at fault for lackadaisical play.
  6. He shouldn't be under pressure. Certainly not with job security anyway! Firing every manager because they start badly is stupid. Especially one you pay £13million for. One that all clubs around Europe were circulating around. The problem is not 100% him. It's 50-60% the players he's trying to get to believe in his system and play that way.
  7. Any objections to the Battersea ground?
  8. £30million, for a 29-year old.. Right then Mirror.. Good luck selling that story.
  9. He's a hip-hop producer Yeaaah, I know about that one - Didn't hear it at all though :S
  10. Yep, it's me Yeah! I heard the Ashley & JT chants they made as well.. Arseholes, the lot of those (fans). Incredible they (LFC, FA ect) actually allow that stuff.. Racism = bad. Personal, degrading insults = banter. Where's the line?
  11. The media love, love, to put managers under pressure. Even if no-such pressure exists, they'll always try to write it. AVB could be as safe as Ferguson is, but it wouldn't stop them 'predicting' and using made up 'sources' to suggest he is. Like Daily Mail's £20m release clause/compensation feature.
  12. Weren't you the one arguing about longevity when the Ancelotti-firing issue came about?
  13. Nope, one of my mates was though. He said every time they tried to get people singing, everyone around just did fuck all. Even through our TV screens you could literally only hear "You'll Never Walk Alone"
  14. Haha, same! MHS forever Like even United & Liverpool have their - not actual fans - fans. But they still keep their voice strong and mighty, you hear it all game. At the Bridge, you hear it for 5minutes/90! Lol
  15. Apparently he was ill, feeling dizzy and sick. That's why he went off yesterday.
  16. I think sometimes fans fail to play their part. The atmosphere at Stamford Bridge is kaput. I miss the days when you heard a roar around the stadium for our team, not being out-sung to the sound of "you'll never walk alone". It's like we're the away team, at home. Not that I'm blaming the fans for the poor performance. But it is a factor, imo.
  17. Anyone have full game links? Time to see this travesty for myself.
  18. Lampard gave him a right earful that game, I was well happy about that.
