True, especially since we don't seem to have a plan b. Always going to be an uncalculated risk for us, smh

All I'm saying is, it'll be hilarious if Pep snubs Manchester City. They've basically raided his old staff from Barcelona over the last couple of months in an attempt to lure Guardiola, if he doesn't go to them they'll be left red-faced
-
I'd take that ITK with a pinch of salt. Far too easy to speculate on these matters - I also find it hard to believe Torres wants to go back to Liverpool after the backlash of his departure. I'm sure he'd rather go back to Athletico.
-
So much for trying to have a discussion then, never mind.
-
Yeaaa, there are exceptions. People like Zanetti, perhaps Scholes & Giggs. Exactly. Gerrard can claim his love for Liverpool all he wants, but everyone (especially Liverpool fans) will know he was a penstroke away in 2005 from signing for us

But the financial incentives are the main reason a bulk of them are here. Especially in the case of Terry when it came to Manchester City. And people can't say Mata has a 'blue heart', he's only been here 2 seasons. I'm not saying they don't care for the club. My point was loyalty doesn't exist in modern football.

Care to elaborate? Everything I said was true. (Moved from Hazard thread, since it has nothing to do with it)
-
Who placed you in charge? You're outtaaaaaaaaaaa here
-
This isn't the thread for it but.. John Terry need financial assurances to stop him going from Manchester CityJuan Mata will probably have Valencia in his heart as he started off with them.Frank Lampard was on the verge of Inter Milan not too long ago.Cech and Ivanovic's resolve hasn't been tested yet.

The fact we serve Singha beer should be a health violation in itself
-
To be fair, I heard he gives more than half of that back to Senegal! But yea, typical Chelsea media coverage
-
You think any Chelsea players have a 'blue heart'? Don't be so naive mate.
-
Christ, it really is quite hard expressing criticisms of Hazard here As I said, I recognize he needs time to adapt and I also recognize the fact he's shown more and more what he's about as games go on. Is he good enough to start these days? Well I still have some complaints about a disappearing act he would do in most games, there would often be a sense of ghosting. That's changed in the last 2-3 games, as has his willingness to back-track. Also need I remind some of you, Bertrand is more than capable of holding himself on that left wing, especially because he's willing to defend and attack. And belittling Marin's potential? Smh.
-
Hm.. Well definitely out of VdW & Azpilicueta we did. Now that Debuchy's signed for Newcastle, we'll see who comes out on top between them. Though Debuchy did do well for France last year.
-
Saw this. Disgraceful, I genuinely never thought I'd see the day Liverpool, Man United & Arsenal get into the same bed with each other. I really do hope the other clubs see this for what it is and vote against it! As for Wenger and his "ticket prices pay wages", do me a favour.
-
Not gonna lie, I'm one of them. Though I won't be delighted if he scores v. Us.
-
Fucking love it! LOL
-
Smart lad. He knows he's not breaking through any time soon, no-one's going to give him the chance to do so. Let him earn a name at West Brom and take him back when he's ready to jump straight into the first team. Tragic this ^

Well before this all got a bit.. out of hand (), Henrique did have a point. Not expressed all too well, but Hazard isn't the player that we were made to believe. Well, he hasn't grown into that player, I think everyone can agree on that. In his last 2 games he's shown a bit more of what he was supposedly doing for game-upon-game in France. I've actually been pleased to see that before this Rafa was benching Hazard and limiting his time, because he wasn't making the impact he should be making at present. The trio of Oscar, Hazard & Mata sounds great in a FIFA 13 game, but they can't play together yet.. They haven't matured. Hazard is showing flashes off what we've been promised, but as of now, he's still a player that needs to show a bit more or be benched.
-
Highly doubt it, especially in the match. Did see the celebration, was kind of odd.. Maybe he'll explain it tomorrow, we know he loves giving absurd interviews to LFC
-
I wore mine yesterday, how much?

You have to remember, Baines is very successful at Everton because of his link-up play with Pienaar on the same flank. Both of them will defend and attack, so they can alternate. If we were to sign Baines I think he'd be too exposed on the left, because it's not like Hazard or Mata will be doing the same kind of job Pienaar does. Food for thought.
-
It's because we only paid a 'small' fee for him, therefore people don't careless. If he cost say £25million, it would a different story entirely.
-
I really am comfortable with saying goodbye to Lampard this season. Yea, it will be emotional, it will be heartbreaking.. But he has an opportunity to go elsewhere and play more football than he would here even if Chelsea did offer him a contract. You might as well accept it folks. There's f*ck all the club can do, perhaps this may turn out to be a good decision is success does come our way next season. The media circus et al, could easily end with a statement from the Club confirming he's leaving. Stops the media from dragging this one - bet they're having a great laugh writing day-in, day-out about reasons, uturn faux-stories, etc.
