Well I heard from friends in Italy (not fiorentina fans) that Alonso has made a huge improvement lately and is a great defender. Hopefully we find another Azpilicueta in him.

We were all so happy to let Luiz leave a few years ago. Also, he didn't improve at all. We are gonna regret this soon. Why just not keep the money and spend 50m or so for a world class defender next summer..

The thing with Luiz is that we would still need to play Matic, Kante and Oscar to help our defence. Just better dont waste money on useless defenders.

I honestly feel Maksimovic to Napoli is nothing to do with Koulibaly to Chelsea. Naples have got enough money for Higuain so they have money to spend. Also Maksimovic and Koulibaly will make a great defence for them.

Well we would never win anything by "developing players". But yh if we are going that way then the board must have got a coach who can develop young players.
