valencia in general has had a very very poor season with the mangerial merry go round and he was injured for some part of it.. he has been brilliant and more consistent in la liga than torres ever was.. and he drops deep and creates moves and goals thats why i guess he is appreciated more, just like didier, but unlike his targetman qualities..

i think ronnie/left winger IF drogba stays would/should be the only major signing of the summer we have enough cover for every position and great quality in that too... as much talents as deco, moutinho, veloso etc are, i wouldn't trade one of our players for them, apart from the reason i love them they have proved their worth and mettle in the premiership and theres no need to go for these replacements..

if i remember correctly, after the WC 2006, ballack, makelele had joined around a week late compared to others as they were involved in the later stages of the WC.. and don't forget these players haven't got a day off after the club season, they had to go straight for friendlies and then euro, i would expect a 10-14 day leave for the euro players starting from the day their team exits the Euro..

Most Cricket stadiums in india don't have 1 person seats, we mostly have long benches or just standimng areas bcoz that way the stadium can fit more people in and we are talking about a sport that lasts an entire day.. Standing sections help the atmosphere, ofcourse we are the worst behaved cricket supporters in the world but foreign fans love to be here just to enjoy the atmosphere..
