If Conte has visions of playing Cesc in a potential No. 10 role at some point during the season, I see no reason why Barkley couldn't play there either. I still think Spurs will end up getting him but I wouldn't be adverse to having him at the club.

I really wish we were in for him, but I'd say Wenger would never sell him to us and City will just give him what he wants money wise. City will be ridiculous next season if he does end up there.

Quite intriguing this. With Madrid playing hardball with Morata's fee and Utd walking away from that, you can bet they aren't going to budge with James' one either. Will Utd be willing to pay the full amount...? Ive made my stance clear in that I'd love him here-he'd be an excellent addition to the squad and a significant upgrade to our attacking options, especially with Hazard out until September.
