I wonder what Potter wants Ziech to do sitting this deep, I wouldn't say he is born defender

So, we start do decline after 20 minutes again?

Hand of god at it's best

Lol?

Koulibaly looks sharp today. Also, I'd love to see a game where I won't miss Giroud

If I didn't know our form, I'd say we have miles better team, so hope guys are hungry today

Who would that be? It's like fifth season where there are like 2-3 strikers in game and non of them is super convincing or impressive. I tend to think football is coming to the point, where not only the whole team have to defend to stay at top, but also at least 8 of your men need to be able to find the net. The sole guy only to tap the balls in and needs all the service seems like a waste of resources now. Too bad Kai is not super effective, as the AMF/f9/CF/Winger - ish type of player may be a future.

The bias in english media is one thing, but the bias to the point where it's pathetic is different thing. Their websites will go into black and white mode for three days when he's finally sacked.

I wonder who does benefit the most from publicly admitting transfer targets for summer in February. We may pet a player's ego and mind a little, but on the other hand, it's inflating his already inflated price tag even more…

Yeah, and then what? Grow new HG players in one season, rely on buying endless rotation of U21s for big cash or put club in position where we have just minimum number of HG players to enter any competition and be held for ransom by them during contract talks? I understand this is a message directed to Mount, but still. Btw the IF part is fun. For now it looks like missing on any Euro football is the more probable option, than not and longer they swear by Potter, the more real it gets, so maybe it's good time to make some solid arrangements for wasting second season, instead of "if".
-
Can't believe it's not some smoke screen as it went too far to ignore, although I'd love it to not be. The "incidents" will be indeed explained and we will hear nothing more of it.

Well, manager is a first person to represent the club, so I am afraid the looks matter after all. Wasn't huge fan of Sarri's drip, but it could be laid down on his eccentricism, however now it's hard to imagine a top club having some wild dirty goblin on the sidelines, because "he knows his stuff". Even worse, if the goblin lacks both the presence and skill. That's however not much about the Potter, as it's ridiculous to bash the guy for way he was born looking, however it's equally ridiculous to claim that body language and confidence doesn't matter in a sport that is 50% mind games with both own team and the opponent. What Hashishi meant I think is that it's better not to let one be photographed in an unfortunate situation - remember what happened to Loew doing some wild shit with his pants and hands? It's circling around till today. The Homeless Potter is also meme worthy and surely will be used the way our very own Vesper did 😂

Well, if our motto is "giving time" this year, I wouldn't throw away KK yet. I'd have more hope in him bouncing back to some usable level with right system and right coach, than in Cucu's case tbh…

Stomach flu gone wild reportedly

Yeah, of course it is and I'm not even digging on GP or anyone who participated here. It just seems a very odd and rather insensitive form of raising awareness for me, but maybe it's just me.
-
Well, that was publicity action after all, so they surely wanted to use their image for this. Respect for Potter and guys for engaging into charity, but whose twisted idea was this thing? Making rich people pretend homeless people AND doing this in front of group of paparazzis is hardly a tasteful thing, to say the least, imho, even if done with best intentions in mind.

"Fast" is really unfortunate word here. Anyway, I don't really buy into this logic. The good leader and manager shows quality when in pickle and shows how he can handle injuries and regions where team lacks quality and does with what he has. Sarri never made any excuses and didn't even actually care who is available and who is coming - he did his best with what he had got. With fully fit first team and yet another round of transfers beyond current 600 million, either You or me could go there and get results. Still, GP doesn't somehow. The sheer amount of excuses that need to be made to defend him show how unfit for the job he is.

Imagine Mou going with "that's life" when asked if we were shafted with a pen 😅 Anyway, as much as I'd love to think his motivational skill could do wonders with our current squad, the reasonability tells me his train is gone as well as TT's.
-
With all due respect, British journos - I don't even bother to read what they have to say about their posterboy anymore. BUT from the logical standpoint, the board acts reasonable. They may despise him, but are aware that he probably has doubtful position in the dressing room, so leaking any doubts about him form the board would throw him under the bus completely and he'd have to be sacked the very same day. And I fear to think how TB would replace him, given no actual manager bar Tuchel, Poch and Enrique are available and pulling someone out of their club takes time. On the other hand, the Raphinia (wonder if his fans from transfer topic even remember this fella) and Enzo shithousery had shown, that board has zero control of media leaks, so dunno…

Again, where it comes from? Surely if we weren't drawing and losing to all the teams from bottom of the table we'd still be in Europa and perhaps CL, right? I seriously don't get what clicked in some people's heads that from CL winners, super cup winners and year-to-year top 4 team we suddenly became some inept relegation side in crisis just because Boehly stepped in and we should be happy when players kick the ball straight. I don't see the need to wait for anything by Potter. He had more time than anyone else before him, he had like 13 games already to show the "improvement" and he is statistically our worst manager in 27 years. Why wait next 4 months then? Maybe better wait until we're dead so maybe he can win a cup game 1:0 against National League side? Freaking much to do - let's get someone competent for the job and start doing the work - something most of people here are expecting from players. It's not like we got point's deduction or something, so I really don't get the "season lost" by Potter fans, as if it's "lost", it's due to Potter himself.
-
Nothing pisses me off in this topic as this outlandish rhetoric. Season is lost because…? Surely Potter's incompetence have nothing to do with this right? So let's down the tools and drop to Championsip because season is lost and it doesn't matter what we do, but at the same time don't stop bashing the players for lack of mentality and lack of care. Or we "lost the season" because James got injured? Some of our fans really seem to be mistaking us for Brighton. We are not special needs Sunday league team to be happy with "improvement" in form of 10 minutes of dominating the relegation candidate. But sure, let's give Potter even more time, so with billion of pounds in transfers and 5 years he can "improve" us to the level we were a day before his appointment.
-
Yeah, player performing good or bad is one thing, but wtf is that? If it's some personal drama, it's sabotaging the team and deserves being sent to the stands for rest of season. If he was scared to pass forward, he needs some individual care in the training surely. Chelsea becoming worse version of PSG starlets friction house is one of my major fears during all transfer windows so I hope Potter or whoever else has some guts to step in asap (he didn't during the game tough, so who am I kidding?)

Fun thing is he probably didn't. Players won against Milan because they personally care about CL and they don't need GP for it. League or domestic cup is just another paid day in the office for them, so they draw to relegation teams and stroll around smiling, because they know they won't get a silverware this season anyway. That's the difference of having a leader and character at the helm or not having one. It's not like they've got depressed after the CL games.
-
Nah, we fool ourselves with constantly moving the tipping point with if x he must go, if y he must go… Let's face it, the moment he must have gone was a)before he was appointed, b) long time ago.
