  1. Unfortunately, it was MEN vs BOYS today. It was just that bad. Massive difference in class. Some players can not be taking the field for us again. Emerson, Barkley. My god Barkley, decide. Pass, shoot. Dont just run with the ball into traffic.
  2. Seriously. I mean this is not a knee jerk, but fucking hell man. Basics. Anyone that can do the basics. Need to sell both the LBs. Pleass
  3. Who the fuck are you marking emrrson? What the actual fuck.
  4. Damn it RLC. Really wanted him to start and show us something for next season. Still like the team Think we need to give a good account of ourselves. An esrly goal can even change the whole complexion of the game. Come on chelsea.
  5. Bought him for 40m€, left 16m€ amortized value. So will be needing at least that. To be fair, we have earned 8m€ on loaned fees on him. Think we will stick to 20m€. Baka himself is taking a massive pay cut, no way will milan let it go over 5m€.
  6. Exactly this. Just a decade or 15 years ago, varane would not be anywhere near to the discussion of being a "world class" player. I think people confuse "world class" with being on of the top players in the world. I mean varane technically is great, and might be in top 15/top 10 maybe CB in the world AT THIS MOMENT which is more an indication of how low the standards have fallen in defending. For me, when you say "world class" it means a player that can change the whole dynamics of the team.by just being on pitch, raises the quality of everyone around him. Take VVd, for example. Ramos is the prime example. Clutch, leader, great at everything including being a cunt. Hell he makes nacho look great. That should be the definition of a world class player.
  7. As was Giroud without scoring a goal. Or James in 2014. National competitions always give an anomaly. Anyways agree to disagree. Think he is a good CB. But the hype around is just too much, you would think he was the 2nd coming of beckenbauer.
  8. Obviously, they are a solid team. But just don't think nuno warranted a nomination ahead of klopp, Rodgers, FL or wilder for the current season
  9. We need 36m€ to simply break even on him and not take a loss on the books. Will probably be looking at that.
  10. 😥 Unfortunately. High chance he is here next year chasing shadows.
  11. Only if going to watch a game actually gave you a decent understanding of the game. Does not look like that happens. Sad to see when someone goes down the "I go to watch a game route", not a good look. Smacks of desperation as barely have a point to make. So joining a forum is a compulsory measure of being a fan? Well, you are a true fan. Go to shedend, you will find me there, unfortunately has become so hopelessly negative. Don't worry, got a lot of people like you who have 0 knowledge and points other than "I go to games". "But asking an Englishman if he understands English is setting the benchmark of course and you still didn't even spell achievement right" If the Englishman can't understand basic English, then sure, I will. Are you still confused if I said tht wolves screwed up?
  12. Also, to be fair, Juve don't have a DM in their squad. Arthur, Ramsey, rabiot, bentancur, matuidi. None of them are a DM. Can still go for him. 🤭
  13. Sarri, then jorginho. True about finances. Just seems like a fucked up situation another season of watching him chase shadows
  14. No chance. Pjanic, Busquets and now jorginho.
  15. Does not matter if we sell them for 5m more each. Keeping jorginho on the books is 12m€ amortized value + 6 million in wages. Add another player, rice's fee and wages. Just not enough space on the books
  16. True. Not many. Probably a club like Torino or Fiorentina who have truly under performed might see him as a viable option.
  17. Hopefully this. Also there must a market for jorginho in Italy. Specially if it's a cut price jorginho. Or atleast on loan.
  18. Oh wow. Got me where it hurts. Spellings. Damn!!! Unfortunately spellings can't help people in comprehending a paragraph as was evident. So you are saying you have had to travel on a Friday night to your hometown, spending time with your family over the weekend and then back to your work city in the wee hours of Monday morning and go to office? Well I have had to deal with a few of such consignments, can't say it's a deal breaker or that I should have got "employee of the year" due to that. Well your bar/benchmark of "acheivement" seems to quite low.
  19. A very very expensive 3rd DM, behind kante and Gilmour. Probably the exact thing that would clog up our finances and stop us from buying better players for other positions
  20. www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-8606979/amp/Tiemoue-Bakayoko-prepared-50-wage-cut-return-AC-Milan-Chelsea-standing-firm.html http://sportwitness.co.uk/chelsea-bakayoko-ac-milan-transfer/ So baka apparently willing to take a pay cut. Hopefully Milan pays the 20m€. Will be in interest of all 3 parties involved
  21. I have been following Chelsea since ballack. And what the hell has that got to do with anything? Wolves was no ordinary, "just came back up from championship team to go down to championship" club. They went for some quality players and got them. Generalizing wolves just because Norwich went back down or some other club did not perform well in 2nd season is bullshit. Taking digs at my soccer knowledge is weird and indicative of bullish behaviour but what can one expect of an asinine person as yourself, who just can't take to be questioned probably "because I am a brit". "Anyone who didn't think Chelsea wouldn't finish in the top six is being disingenuous it's too easy to say I'll be happy with a top ten finish it was utter bollocks and just an insincere soundbite" Go back to this thread and read some of the comments. Go and check out the too 6 predictions by pundits who surely "hav had more interest in football" right. Oh well, talking about facts does not seem to be the norm with you though, is it? "Point is lamps' acheivement of top4 is ridiculed by saying, "rest of the teams fucked up", should not the same apply for wolves?" cant you understand English? Or has your immense footballing knowledge muddied your basic cognitive skills? If lamps' acheivement of top4 is shot down by saying arsenal and spurs had a bad season, should not the same logic apply to wolves. That their 7th place finish was just a result of other teams fucking up. Understand now? An acheivement to be playing next Monday? Which included a 3 month break? That's a weird acheivement but I am sure long standing football fans like yourselves must have some other inhumanly criteria and measurements of "acheivements". I mean by the same logic OLE should be manager of the season, discounting the fact about the millions he spent to barelt qualify in top4. As for travelling, surely must be such a pain in the ass to travel business clas with all the leisures, stay in 5 star hotels, acheive what you wree expected to and then somehow become "one of the best managers of the season". Lol
  22. No. But they were expected to be in the top 7 and Europa league hunt, rigjt? Or is that taking the piss too? Arsenal and spurs had a very bad campaign, but that on them. In 15/16, you can't say, a manager had a successful season because he "finished above chelsea". If you go back again and read properly what I wrote, wolves finished exactly where people expected them to. We did not. We were not supposed to be in top 6, maybe even top 8 by the expextations of our own fans. Get it? Also, where did I mention "wolves fucked up". Why are you putting words in my mouth. As for Europa, never understood the hype between Thursday and Sunday. Well it's also Wednesday and Saturday for CL clubs or sunday and tuesday. Every club playing CL/EL face this issue.
  23. But they were expected to be where they are. Point is lamps' acheivement of top4 is ridiculed by saying, "rest of the teams fucked up", should not the same apply for wolves? Also wolves' Europa campaign has no impact of the PL manager of the season.
  24. Pep? The manager who finished with a 100 points last season, finishes with 81, despite investments.he has had a better season than FL who managed a team who lost their best player and the best player in the league. Had a transfer ban. Experts did not even predict us to finish in top 6, forget top 4. Wow. That's some weird expectations. Wolves finished 6th/7th last season and this season. What did nuno do to improve? They were expected to finish where they did. We did not. Rodgers did not. Wilder did not. Klopp had one of the best PL campaingns. The 4 managers who exceeded expectations are the ones in the running as they should be.
