Liverpool has 7 wins and Spurs have 7 wins. Which is 1 win more than us. The PL as a league has become such a powerful league where there are no free wins. Understand that. In the 17 game unbeaten run, how many did we win. Majority. And how do we have the same problems as last season. Last season we conceded 69 goals in 38 games, this season we have conceded 14 goals in 13 games. Thats the same to you? Oh wait, you are one of the entitled, plastic, short term social media "fans" looking for instant gratification. News FLASH: Life does not work that ways. Klopp took 2.5 years to make liverpool a force. FL so far has got 1.25 and the improvements are there for anyone and their dog to see if they actually have a brain. Also, go back and read any and all of my comments and posts. I am and till the end of this season WILL be all for giving FL time to work. Unlike plastic fans like yourself, I dont hide under a rock when my team is winning, neither do i go into a rant mode at the first signs of trouble. Cant wait for you to back into hiding once we beat WHU on the weekend. Lastly, 250m spent means NOTHING. None of the players bar ziyech are in the PRIME of their careers. None of the players bar chilwell played in the PL before. This is not FIFA where you just select the best players with best ratings and things click into motion. Some players take time to adapt, some turn out to to busts while the most unexpected players become an integral part of the team. Also, the 250m spent again means nothing as majority of it was offset by hazard, morata etc sales. We also need to replace those players. So stop bullshitting.
-
Mendy James zouma Silva Ben Kova kante mount Tino Tammy puli Unless ziyech is available. If Kai and werner start, it's gonna be another defeat. Can't be having bloody passengers.

Say that all you like, and come talk to me when he's sacked. I have the guts to voice my opinion, and I'm giving arguments for why I believe the job is too big for him. Do you have any rational arguments other than "give him time"? If not then kindly fuck off Oh. Rational like we just fucking went on a 17 match unbeaten run? Those rationals can hardly stand up against getting him sacked, right? Also, the funny part of the post was if he wins the next 5, you would still not support him. Funny, calling yourself a "fan". Such "fans" need to fuck off and find a new team. How is that for voicing an opinion
-
Oh dear god. Oh my fucking god.
-
Top 4 race it is. City on same points and United will leapfrog (with a win against SHU). And both have games in hand. Spurs and pool are anyways there. Gonna be tough to even get top 4.
-
Good to see puli back. Hope he stays fit till the end of the season now.
-
Fair enough. The comment was after the game and in the heat of the moment. Not true. Look at all Puli for an example. He is not going to get better performing poorly too. Neither will he gain any confidence, on the contrary his confidence looks shot. He should be taken off the firing line. We will have easier games in which he can make an impact. Wolves away with top of the table with a win on the line is not a game where a player should start just because he needs time to settle in. If meritocracy is a thing, then Kai has no business being in the starting line up for this game.
-
You call someone a troll, and expect them to take it lying down just because you did not "quote" them? Seriously? So just because i dont "directly quote" anyone, I can write whatever I want? Are those the rules? Also, I did not be the judge, jury and executioner for KAI like you are/were with MOUNT. Understand the difference. I dont "hate" KAI like you and some other posters do with Mount, thats the difference. I want him to succeed but I can question him and his performance and most importantly his attitude in the game which seems lazy. Understand these differences where one poster is hating on a player and another is asking question regarding his performances and in a lot of cases accepting the answers. Being patient with a player does not mean you forgive lack of effort or lack of some very very basic play. Kai not able to hold the ball has nothing to do with Covid. Stop using that as an excuse. If he is yet to be fit, then he should not be available for selection. Stop using Covid for his footballing abilities. LOL. WHAT? Brilliant argument. So just because Chelsea did not take money from my account i should be happy with them for anything? Extrapolating that arguement, do you own chelsea? Why does it winning or losing affect you? Do you work in the organization? Why does Chelsea affect you at all. I guess being a fan, things happening with Chelsea, be it good or bad, affect you, even if its Chelsea's money which could probably have been used better. And suprising you raise this point, when all you do is hate on mount. Has he personally harmed you in some way? THIS is the gist of the matter. Just because you DISLIKE mount and ridicule him no matter how good he is or how well he is rated in the footballing community, you think anyone who is "questioning" any player must DISLIKE the player the way you do. Let me tell you THAT is not true. You can want a player to succeed and still question them. And question them when its legit instead of being blinded by the dislike. I DONT DISLIKE KAI. I cant be any clearer about it. I also have yet to see him being anywhere close to the 70mil player and the world beater that he is touted to be. I see a lot of issues with the basics of his game that you would not see with some of the other future superstars like mbappe (since he is supposed to be in THAT elite category of talent). Am i able to make myself clear? I honestly dont need advice from someone whose 50% of the posts are about ridiculing player(s). I am fine the way i am, I call it as i see it. If someone is being unfair to a player of the team, I would call him/her out on it even if it rubs people the wrong way. I dont go about hating on our own player(s) or calling them names like "Donkeywater" or "Donkeyoko" or "Batshit" just for a few cheap likes. If the admins have an issue with me, they are yet to inform/warn me as of YET. Until them, you can continue your crusade on our player(s), and i will continue mine.

Hahahah. Lets have a poll on here and see who people think is an actual troll or not. Wanna put your ass where your mouth is? Anyone and their freaking dogs could see the talent in mount. Anyone except for the SAD and PATHETIC "fans" like you who just want the next shiny toy. Stop putting yourself up on a pedestal because you are literally nothing but a troll who gets his jollies off of ridiculing players/people from behind a computer and a protected VPN. Also, it should be irrelevant of the price tag? Seriously? What are we ,7? Welcome to the real world buddy. Where the price tag dictates the expectations, sets the pressure on a player, magnifies that pressure from the media and the fans. Some get over it, others crumble under it. Anyways, I am done with a troll like you. But if you really want a poll, lets have it, will be interesting to see.

Mate, this is fine. Obviously FL rates KAI, that's the only reason he was willing to spend so big on him. Point is not just giving Kai the time. I am all willing to give players the time, specially young ones. Have you seen me moan about mount, James, pulisic, Tammy? Infact I am one of the few who are consistently defending these players. But there is a massive difference between these players and Kai. Read this one with Tomo: I feel it's fine to question a player, I am not hating on him. I just got riled up when a poster like R2D2, who is nothing but a troll, and has been bashing players like mount left right and center, has the balls to call others crazy for raising some issues with Kai.
-
4-3-3 has worked like a charm for us. We should not be foresaking it for one player, and specially one who can't make simple passes that even bakayoko won't fuck up. Also Kai cost a bit more than puli and we all remember FL benching him till he was ready. I feel it should be done with Kai too. He simply should be taken away from the line light.
-
Exactly this. And I am so confused with people comparing it to pulisic (actual settling issues), or mount or James. Neither of those players had an issue with the BASICS of the game. Passing (like you pointed out) is one aspect, ball shielding is abysmal. How can someone worth 70m and world class potential, not have the basic ball shielding ability. I played college level and still could do it better. And don't even get me started on his turning with the ball. I mean just to turn his body, he has a bigger span than a boeing 747. These are not "settling issues", these are basic footballing skills that if one of our own youth player had missing, he would be abused consistently and ridiculed to the max. I hope he improves all of this and proves me wrong, but honestly, I am so underwhelmed by him. What's worse is kepa, kai, Morata, Torres these are our top 4 transfers by fees, and I simply don't want him to end up like the other 3 on that list.
-
Are you an idiot or a troll. Understand the difference between mount and Kai. Mount is a 8, Kai is a 10. Kai plays far more advanced than mount. Comparing there goals and assists to somehow use as a yardstick of comparision is LOL. Specially when out 4 of his goals, 3 came against Barnsley. And if you think, mount has shown "no quality" then you are just a blind hater. And I refuse to give the likes of you the time of the day, who won't be able to understand quality if it hit you in the face. But nice try. Next we will have, Kai has been better than kante, look at their goals and assists. Fucking embarrassing. And let me be clear here. I don't dislike Kai. I hope he turns out to be the player everyone wants him to be and EXPECTS him to be, which is totally different to you and the anti mount brigade who are either stupid or just blind with hate. What's worse is "fans" like you would be happier if we flop and mount does not play well, than us winning with mount putting a great performance after another the way he has been doing. Anyways, I don't think fans should not question performances specially when the performances lack heart and desire. There is one thing to be struggling and to be out of form, and totally different to give your all and put it all on the field. Kai is not even doing the latter. One good performance against Barnsley (lol) or a second string Sevilla simply is not enough to justify him and his "little steep" fee.
-
Lol. We lost our best player last summer, we were getting a complete overhaul of an identity. This was a new league for "jack of all trades" mount, and yet was he actually given time or respite by the likes of you despite showing 10 times better talent and putting in better performances than Kai. Stop acting high and mighty when you specially have acted much worse in ridiculing our own youth player time and again. Everyone has a right to ask a question off kai. When you pay 70m, it's not just for a "future" star, it's a fee paid for someone who is already supposedly on a level close to that. So far, Kai has shown NOTHING to be remotely considered as a future superstar or ballondor winner Also, stop using "new league" as an excuse. It's downright lazy reasoning. His problems are not because he is playing in a new league. It's because he can't do the bloody basics right. Can't pass, can't hold on to the ball or shield it, can't bloody turn with the ball without taking 5 touches and most importantly can't run or give a fuck. None of those things are down to a new league. They are down to poor basics and lazy play.
-
Both teams played their second teams. Ample time on the ball. Seriously feel it's a case of him finding it impossible to find that much time and space in the PL. As of this moment, don't see anything remotely "special" in him, just a loooottt of hype.
-
Mendy James zouma Silva Ben Kovacic kante mount Tino Tammy werner No more of Kai. He is shit and unless he actually starts running (at the least), keep him out of the team.
-
I agree with some points and disagree with some. All of it is subjective, so let's leave it, and try to focus on one of the questions that I had asked, what is his USP? One look at hazard, who did not start his Chelsea career with a bang, and you could see world class dribbling, same as pulisic. Mount's industry (among other things), and James' crosses, they had modelled their game around these attributes which were close to world class or actually world class. I just don't understand Kai as a player. Just don't see what he is going to base his game around. He has shown nothjng so far for me or Chelsea fans to be excited about. I hope he proves me wrong, but just so underwhelmed by him
-
Oh come on. That's not fair. Even at their worst, mount and Reece showed their talent. Simple question, what is his USP? What is he good at? He can't pass? He does not run, he can't fucking turn without taking a year's worth of time. For all his height, physically is shit, can't bloody fucking shield the ball. What is he good for? Simple question. He would be a good player for the Lyons and leverkusens of the world but will never be a good player at a top club as they are not afforded time. Mount is a 10* better player in all aspects of the game. Even when pulisic was struggling, you could see aspects of his game which set him apart. With KAI, it's literally nothing.
-
The same as signing bakayoko, Emerson, alonso did 😂 Conte and his weird shitty buys
-
Maybe loan tomori, but doubt alaba would be happy being played as a 2nd fiddle. Also his wages or demands makes it a kind of iffy deal. Imo, we should try and have tomori, ampadu, AC learn and take over from Silva. All 3 seem to have the technicality though AC seems to be missing something in his mentality.
-
Dont know Klopp's thought process, but have to say Spurs and Jose got it perfect. 30 mins to pay Son and Kane. And that might be the difference between getting some norweigan team and maybe getting the likes of AC milan in the next stage.
-
I would think it would be the ither way around. Kova here and Kai against a very okay-ish wolves this season so far.
-
I feel fairly confident about this one. Think we will get a win here.

Will be interesting to see our next summer window and FL's target. Its no secret that we want Rice, but with Kante being Kante, do we need him? We have billy for cover too. I always thought Kante was a top no.6 even if that is not his BEST position. If we buy Rice, it would either be a 4-3-3 or a 4-2-3-1, and in both cases, Rice and Kante would be in the mid. Which would mean either of Kai/Mount are left out. Honestly cant see both Kante and Rice at the club together based on our other MF options. CB is another position which is a mystery to me. I was always a fan of Zouma and thought there was a really good CB there. Silva has another year in him easily. We have AC, Tomori, Sarr (who has been great according to sources), Ampadu and even Rudiger to choose from. I strongly believe our issues last season was not due to CBs but LB, GK and playing Jorginho as no.6. We have course corrected all 3 of those things and are now doing really good. 2 positions that seriously needs a look is LB and GK. We need a good/solid back up LB and GK. Give Silva and Giroud new contracts to keep them for one more year. Conor deserves his spot in the squad without a shred of doubt. I would personally sell Kepa, Rudiger, AC, Alonso, Emerson, Jorginho, Barkley, RLC, Michy along with the deadwood of Zappacosta, Bakayoko, kenedy, etc. Have a squad of: GK: Mendy, 2nd GK CB: Silva, Zouma, Sarr, Tomori LB: Chilwell, new LB RB: James, Azpi DM: Kante, Gilmour LCM: Mount, Conor RCM: Kai, Kova RW: Ziyech, CHO LW: Pulisic, Werner ST: Tammy, Giroud

Mendy James zouma Silva chilwell Kovacic kante mount Pulisic Giroud Werner Won't be an easy game, but I am confident of a result. Come on Chelsea.
