Reece should've been moved to DM ages ago for a variety of reasons. Personally, I cannot wait until he comes back and gets Caishito out of the team.
-
Disagree he is our only defender who has been able to stay fit.
-
Who was that?
-
I am hoping for Silva, but cannot see him coming here on a 7 year deal.
-
Got through but cannot see us beating either City or the Dippers. As for us, can I please get one game this season where we don't have one of Sanchez, Disasi, Caicedo or Sterling starting? All four need dropping for a good amount of time.
-
Disasi is the most brain dead player I have seen at Chelsea.
-
Because he is a clown. I also want to know why he has Mudryk in the box when defending corners instead of having him up the pitch for a counter attack. The guy is liability when defending and would draw an opposition player out of the box if he went up the pitch.
-
That was on Poch. A real manager would never have allowed Sterling to take that.
-
I don't know. The issues Rudi and Silva had under SFL where more to do with getting caught out by being told to press up the pitch. Disasi problem is he doesn't things like not jumping for a ball when it is crossed into the area, or not tracking VVD when he is his man at a corner. That is just brain dead stuff, not sure that gets coached out of him.

Personally, I am not a fan of those, just simply because I think they only happen because something else has gone wrong. Hence, why I was never a fan of Zouma although he did some spectacular ones. As for Caicedo, I get why people are feeling he is playing better - and he is - however the points your highlighting are still traits you Associate with players of the technical ability of Gallagher. For me, I just simply do not think he is good enough. To play the position he is, you either need great passing under pressure- see Mikel or Jorginho - or you need to be able to break the lines with your running on the ball - see Kante or Yaya Toure. For me, being a scrappy ball winner isn't something we can rely on long term even if he is great at it. Funnily enough, I have been ok with Enzo the past few weeks as I have seen improvement in his positioning and off the ball running to go along with his long passing. He still needs to work on his vision and executing of his short/sharpe passes but I think if it is true he was/is playing with a hernia, then these things will come once fully fit.

Gusto and Palmer are very good players. They're probably the only two signings since the Cowboys came in where you can say we got value for money. You can maybe add Petro to that list. As for Caicedo, I wasn't impressed again. Sure he puts himself about and loves a tackle but so does Gallagher and he gets call 'Gallagdog' for it. For me Caicedo is still having little to no impact on the ball and his habit of having to go to ground to tackle is largely due to his habit of getting into a bad position. As Maldini said, 'if I have to tackle, it is because I have done something wrong'.

Why am I still having to watch Sterling, Caicedo and Disasi? All those players have deserved to be dropped for multiple matches. In Sterling's case, months.
-
Does anyone know how much we have to raise in the Summer to clear FFP? There are quite a lot of rumours it is substantial.
-
I don't think anyone thought Muniz would hit such a hot streak. He has been unfortunate in that regard. Our best bet now is that Soton get promoted and take him back on loan and he has a decent season there.

I thought this up until a month ago where I started asking questions like: What patterns of play am I seeing? Does the manager make impactful substitutions? Does the manager recognise when we start losing consistency and allowing the other team to come onto us? Can the manager drop players who desperately need dropping and not just plod along with them (Caicedo and before that Sanchez)? Can the manager maintain attacking output if we begin to tire and not revert to going into a defensive shell? Can the manager this season get us fit so we can run teams off the park as we are only playing domestic competitions? Do I see improvements in the players we had last season? Every answer to the above was no. Potter got a lot of complaints but at least I saw patterns of play. Additionally, last year was a lot worse in terms of managing the squad because of the moronic Jan spree we went on. In addition, I think all the players that were here last season are worse than they were last season - Cucu maybe the only exception. For me, I just cannot see what he does well and I know there are other managers out there that could at least do one of the above.

Caicedo off for the Italian kid asap please.
-
Disasi and Caicedo were comical there.
-
Caicedo is a bigger problem for me than Gallagher with his sideways passing and his slowing down of the play when wanting to play it forward (which mainly results in it being given away.)
-
Seriously, what does Disasi do well?
-
Said this last week. Guy needs to go for me. Anyone that wants to defend him, please tell me what patterns of play he has implemented? Even Potter was able to do that.
-
I am not buying this line of thought. If we cannot be fit enough this season with zero European football to match City for 90 minutes - especially after they just had a European away game - then what chance do we have next season if we secure any sort of European football? Will the excuses then be, 'we had a game last week, so could only match them for 30 mins'.
-
Two things. 1) He did get scared. They sub's and tactics in the second half were pure Dyche. 2) We play one game a week. If he cannot train the team to be fit enough in those circumstances, something is wrong. I say this as someone who has defended Poch this season on multiple occasions.
-
We shouldn't be playing a back 4. People have been crying about 3atb for years but the problem is, it is actually our best suited formation. If I were Poch th line-up would be: Petro Badi Silva Colwill Gusto Enzo Gallagher Chillwell Madueke Jackson Palmer No more Caicedo and Sterling please. If I see anymore of them I am likely to put my foot through the screen.
-
I am pretty certain it was more to do with balancing the books. If Maatsen came in and did well, then he would be hard to sell. The same issue applies to Gallagher. You can tell the club want him (Gallagher) gone under all circumstances but it is now tricky as he has played so much due to injuries and the fans like him more than 95% of the players they've brought.
-
Sorry, I have seen enough. Anyone who had this kid down as a must buy/good signing/thinking he was going to become a top player needs to be put into the same category of poster that defended/supported the Lukaku return.
